Paranoid
The door burst open, and James and Fallon turned to look in its direction. Stood at the door was 2 teachers and Fallon's friends. James turned the knife on his friends, so they backed away from the door. Tears fell from Fallon's eyes as they begged for help. She couldn't scream, but it was obvious she was scared for her life.
"No... You're not taking her from me." His voice sounded like he was about to cry, but his eyes were stone cold. The paranoia was obvious, even the teachers were a little scared. "She's mine. She'll always be mine." His voice was louder. He pointed the knife back at Fallon, who genuinely feared he would end her life. "If you try I'll kill her then myself. We're meant to be together forever." Fallon tried to scream for help, but her mouth was taped firmly shut. Her tears fell onto the bed next to her, realising she had no hope. One of the teachers suddenly ran into the room, jumped over the bed and tackled James to the ground. The teacher wrestled the knife out of his hands, and he yelled in pain. Tears started to fall from his face as he spoke. "Why can't you let me be with her?"
"She doesn't want to be with you. She'll never want to be with you after what you've just done." Hana said as she walked over to the bed and carefully pulled the tape from Fallon's mouth. She gasped for air, finally able to talk.
"I hate you James. Why can't you see I don't want to be with you." She was still scared of him, even though he was unarmed and unable to hurt her. The other teacher entered the room with 2 security guards. They took James away while he stared at Fallon, how was he still scaring her even though he couldn't touch her? The others untied her, and her ordeal was over.
Fallon stood outside watching the water. It was the next day, but the fear was still with her. James had been detained in his room and would be put on the first flight away from Aluna island. It would've been easier to just fly there, but the cruise was so nice minus the whole James incident. She tried to push it to the back of her mind, but it still scared her. He still scared her. She had been assured that he couldn't come near her, but she didn't believe them. He was obsessed, there wasn't anything he wouldn't do to be with her. She closed her eyes for a moment hoping to erase any memory of him. When she opened her eyes she could see the faint outline of an island in the distance. It was Aluna island. She continued to look at it while the wind blew in her hair. She checked over her shoulder, then looked back out to the water. She had been looking over her shoulder for the past few days, scared of sudden movement. He had made her paranoid, and that wouldn't help her win Noah's heart.
