Open Water
Fallon could hear the sound of the waves hitting the boat as it sailed. It had been a few weeks since Jordan had asked Fallon for help setting him up with her latest rival Emily. It was the second day of the journey to Aluna island. Fallon was on her balcony watching the waves. It was calm, and she was alone in her thoughts. That's how she wanted to be. She closed her eyes and listened to the waves hitting the boat. It was calming, but it was interrupted by someone at her door. She stood up and went to the door. She opened it, and saw Jordan standing sheepishly at the door. Fallon had hardly spoken to him, but she knew what he wanted.
"Hey Jordan. Do you want to go somewhere else so we can talk?" Fallon asked him. He wasn't allowed into her room, as he was a boy. Boys weren't allowed into girls rooms, and girls weren't allowed into boys rooms. They both knew this. He nodded quickly, not looking up from the floor.
They sat on sun loungers by the large heated pool. It was filled with people swimming and having fun. It really was a luxury cruise ship. Fallon could never afford this luxury, so she planned to relax and forget everything she had done for a few weeks. She couldn't forget everything, though. She had a mission, set up Jordan and Emily to eliminate a rival. She had stalked Emily for the past few weeks, collecting info that she could use.
"I think you should take her on a date tonight." Fallon started, taking a sip from her water bottle. Jordan's face showed clear panic, making Fallon laugh a little.
"What? Tonight?" The panic in his voice was obvious, making Fallon laugh even more. "Where would I take her? What do I say to her?"
"Take her to the fancy restaurant on floor 4. I'll tell you what to say through an earpiece. Meet me here at 7pm, arrange to meet her at 7:30." Fallon formed a plan in her mind as the words fell out of her mouth. "All you have to do is ask her to meet you, and not look like you just got out of bed. Actually look decent." They both stood up and went their separate ways. Fallon needed Isabel. Fallon knew she was here, but didn't know where her room was. She had to find it.
After she found Isabel's room, she headed back to her own. She had an earpiece, and would get the headset once he was at the restaurant. The time was 4pm, so she had a few hours until she had to meet Jordan, and didn't know what todo with that time. She opened her door and found a note which had been pushed through.
Fallon
Meet me on the top deck. It's important.
Fallon looked at the note, and realised it had been typed. She couldn't link the handwriting. She didn't know who had sent her the note, but she decided to meet them. Maybe it was Noah?
