Broken Hearted Rival
The rest of the weekend went by without anything of importance happening. She had spent Saturday with her friends, and Sunday on social media stalking Noah. She hadn't spoken to Isabel, as there had been nothing to say. Monday came, and Fallon hoped to see some results from the photos Hana had posted.
From her locker she could see Noah. He looked just as hot as he always did. It had been a week since they had met, that was worth celebrating, right? She could see Lacey approach Noah, she looked nervous. She could only just hear what was being said.
"Noah, I don't know how to say this to you. I really like you. Do you feel the same?" Lacey asked Noah. She was scared of rejection. She really had feelings for him, and hoped that the photo scandal wouldn't get in the way. A small part of her hoped that he hadn't seen the photos, he wouldn't think she was a slut.
"Lacey... I really don't know what to say... Sorry, but I don't feel the same. I couldn't have feelings for someone who sells photos of her body." Noah walked away from a broken hearted Lacey, not bothering to look back. He went over to the blonde girl Fallon had seen on the first day. Fallon had never spoken to her, but she envied her. She was close to Noah, which is what she wanted. Fallon had seen her flirt with him a few times but he just brushed them off. Noah didn't have feelings for her. The blonde wouldn't be a rival until he began to accept her flirts.
Lacey had never felt so alone in her life. Everyone believed she was a tramp. The only person she could turn to was Kassie. She didn't know if Kassie would stand by her forever, as there was evidence proving that she was selling the photos. She had never sold the photos to anyone. She had sent them to Kassie, Maddy and Elle, but she didn't know who sent them to Hana. She knew Kassie would never send them, but Elle and Maddy were possible suspects.
Fallon knew that the photos fuelled the fire that was the rumours. She was in a good mood, after seeing Noah reject Lacey. She didn't need to go any further, but part of her wanted to. She wanted to make her suffer. Eventually everyone would stop caring about the photos, and Lacey could rebuild her reputation. Bullying was the less violent, less permanent, more legal alternative to killing her rivals. Fallon found herself at the centre of a group of bullies, with nobody even realising. Hardly anyone realised that the gossip group was a group of bullies, with the only people realising are the victims.
