"Evenstar?"

There was only one person I knew that called me by that strange nickname. Nicholas.

Although, according to him, the nickname wasn't all that strange.

It's an alternative name for Arwen in the Lord of the Rings novels, and with him being New Zealand born, he was rather well versed in all things Tolkien. I had to Google why being a New Zealander was important, but when I saw that the films had been made there, by a New Zealander, it made sense.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, looking up at him when the light fully came back up at the end of the show came to an end.

"I was just, you know, hanging out," Nicholas answered, running his hands through his untamable long hair. He bit down on his full lips, his navy eyes awkwardly looking anywhere but at me. "I was heading into the Captured Starlight exhibition, because, you know... starlights, and all. Want to join me?"
