When I finally arrived at Hot Shots, twenty minutes and two tube changes later, I knew that it would have been better if I'd played ignorant and pretended not to have received Jade's message.

As soon as I walked in- the coffee shop completely dark- the lights flashed on, Happy Birthday began to play and Jade sprang out from nowhere screaming, 'There's the birthday girl!'
