"Do you have a boyfriend?" Jade asked me as she handed a customer his change. With a polite smile that was typical of Jade she turned to the customer and said, "Your drinks order will be at the end. Have a nice day, sir."

I looked at the ticket Jade gave me and started to make up the man's drink while ignoring Jade's question.

There has only ever been one guy that I've been remotely interested in, and that's Will, which is totally pathetic. I'm sure Jade will think that, too, which is why I'm never going to tell her about my Senpai.

"I'm taking your silence as confirmation that you don't have a boyfriend," Jade said in an ah-ha tone of voice. "That's perfect. I know this guy and he's-"

"No," I shut her off before she could get ahead of herself. "No, do not set me up with anyone."

Jade smirked. "Whatever you say, Arwen. But just so you know, my guy is perfect."

I snort unattractively as I pass the male customer his chai latte. "If he's so perfect why don't you date him?"

"Ew," Jade shuddered, her loud voice earning Archie's full attention. "Incest is not my thing."
