Epilogue, pt. 1
As the clock ticked down to midnight, I looked at the people around me, and I thanked my lucky stars that I had them in my life.
First, there's Miles, my eccentric step-brother that's now more like a real brother than a step one. Summer had changed us, and our relationship, but it was all for the best. I think he'd been carrying around a lot of guilt for not having told me sooner about his secret- the one where he'd warned Will away from me. After the cat was out of the bag, things became simpler, and for that, I loved Miles Paget.
Of course, there's Archie. Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without BFF4EVA#2. Jade claimed #1 for herself, but just because he was #2, didn't make Archie any less important to me. Even though he was a little older, and wiser, Archie was still the one I would trust the most with my life. And my closet. It was thanks to him that I was now clad head to toe in Topshop and not Primark. Perks of having a gay best friend. Apparently, I can call him that because Jade isn't gay, so that can never be her title.
Talking of Jade, where would I be without her? I dread to think. I also dread to think where I end up sometimes when I'm with her. She's like the hurricane that torn my life upside down, only so that something new could be built instead. That's her analogy, naturally. Only Jade Campbell could ever come up with something like that. The girl has no shame. Her words, however, are perfectly befitting for her. She was the hurricane, and my life did turn upside down, and something better was built instead.
Which brings me to Will. William Edward George Gregory. Oh, all the things I could say about Will. All those years spent with me thinking he was my Senpai... turns out I was as much his as he was mine. I don't regret the years I had lusted after Will. How could I? If it hadn't been for those years, I wouldn't have been the person I am today. I wouldn't have been socially awkward. I wouldn't have gotten myself a job at Hot Shots. I wouldn't have met Archie and Jade. I wouldn't have met Nicholas... As much as I try to deny it, my story started with Will, but it doesn't end there.
