After school was done, I waited outside for Rina so we could go to pick up her sister from the airport. I had called up my mom to inform her that I'll be going to the airport and then to Rina's place to help her sister unpack.

Surprisingly, mom didn't sound surprised about Rina having a sister. Apparently, my parents have known both Rina and Sophie since they were kids.

The reason I was waiting even after school was out is that Rina had gone and gotten herself a detention, again. Apparently, she was found bunking History with few other students.

I think Nathan was one of them. It really wouldn't surprise me if he was because he is a bad boy, no he is the bad boy. Who is now apparently living next to me.

BANG!

I jumped five feet in the air when the school doors opened and Rina came out fuming. She stormed over to me and walked right past me when I tried to greet her. Opening her car door, she got in and waited, quite impatiently, for me to get in.

Frowning, I looked towards the school building and back at her, and back at the building she just came from to see three boys coming out. I recognised them as Alec, Jake and Nathan. and for some reason, they looked very amused and even more smug which made me frown in confusion.

Nathan noticed me and somehow his smirk grew wider. Just when he started walking towards me Rina honked loudly, almost giving me a heart attack. This girl is going to kill me, I swear.

"Kate! Hurry up! We're getting late!" Rina yelled from her place at the drivers seat.

I opened and shut my mouth like a fish while walking towards the car. After I was seated, I turned towards her and opened my mouth to ask her about what just happened but she turned on the radio and played a channel playing death metal.

Death metal.

That could only mean one thing. Sabrina Waters was pissed. As in girl-on-her-period pissed, and no one should mess with her right now. So I did what any sensible person would do in such a situation, I took Dean Winchester's advice and shut my cakehole.

I didn't even bother to tell her that we were going in the exact opposite direction than the airport.

"I can't believe the nerve of him!! how dare he do that!!" Rina said, well yelled, while pacing up and down her room.

All through the car ride, she said nothing. But the moment we got to her room, she started ranting about what a complete jerk Jake is, while I sat on her bed.

When I tried to remind her about her sister, she blew off even more saying that the only reason she got detention is because Jake and Nathan did something or the other, I wasn't really listening.

After an hour of ranting, she finally shut up, but only because the doorbell rang. Rina ran down to answer the door, and I went after her. We opened the door, expecting Rina's dad, but instead found a girl of about our age, with firey red hair and a sweet dimpled smile.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry I forgot to pick you up!! Something came up- and oh my god!" Rina said, taking the girl, who, I'm assuming is Sophie, in one of her bone crushing bear hugs.

Instead of gasping for air, like every person who has ever been hugged by Rina, the girl just laughed and hugged her back. They stayed like that for a while, hugging because they've not seen each other for so long. My arms ached to hold my sist- no. You can't think about her now.

Pushing those thoughts at the back of my mind, I cleared my throat. Both the sisters pulled out of the hug to look at me.

"Oh! Yeah, Kate, this is Sophie, my sister, Soph, this is Kate, my best friend." Rina said, introducing us.

I held out my hand for a handshake, but Sophie gave me a smile and pulled me in for a hug, surprising me.

After she let go, I gasped for air, as subtly as I could. "wow! I can see how you both are related." I said with a shaky laugh.

Sophie laughed, her dimples showing, "yeah we get that from our mother."

And just as she said that, it was like someone had flipped a switch somewhere in the room. The mood went from happy to tensed in a matter of seconds. I cautiously looked over to Rina to see that she had a blank look on her face. But her eyes did all the talking. Anyone who looked into her eyes right now could tell that she was angry, sad and hurt all at the same time.

I looked back at Sophie to see the same hurt look that Rina had on her face as well, except she looked like she on the verge of crying. "Hey Sophie? Where are your suitcases? We'll help you unpack." I said putting a bright smile on my face.

Me talking seemed to snap both the sisters out of their trance. Sophie was the first to talk.

"Yeah, they are right outside." She said, gesturing towards the front of the Waters' residence.

"Damn Soph, did you bring the entire town with you?" Rina said when she reached the door. I followed her and peeked out to see two big suitcases already on the steps and the taxi driver struggling with the third.

Immediately, I ran up to the poor guy and started helping him. Rina came too and started helping us both. After after a lot of effort from the four of us, we finally managed to get all three suitcases to the guest room which would be used as Sophie's room from now.

After paying the taxi driver, and apologising to him, I went back up to Sophie's room. I stopped at the doorway when I saw the two girls already unpacking.

"Hey Rina, I think I should head home. It's getting pretty late. Sorry I can't help you, but I have to finish a few assignments." I said, making Rina frown.

"Do you want me to drop you?" he asked, the frown still on her face. I shook my head, "no, I'll be fine. You should help Sophie."

"Well, okay. Bye then. See you at school tomorrow." Rina said.

I tried to hold in my laugh as I walked down the stairs.

"We have a holiday tomorrow, Rina. You would know that if you paid attention." I yelled over my shoulder.

As I was shutting the door, I heard a crash, the sound of Rina cursing, and Sophie gasping and yelling at Rina for her foul language.

A/n: Heyyyyy!! So did I take too long to update? Haha oopsie! My bad. But here's another chapter for you guys! So I have my finals in a few weeks so there won't be any updates for at least 3 months. So sorry in advance.
