I am making this log the night before my first day of school. To end the summer right, I went with two friends to the lake and we had a cook out. We got our schedules the day before and these are the classes I got-

Semester 1:
Bridge math- It was either this class or calculus and I heard terrible things about the teacher who teaches that class. I think this is a self paced class anyways.

Health science education- I'm excited for this class

English IV CP- I know the teacher and she is so nice. I had her for ACT prep last year and she also helps run a club I'm in. Also it shouldn't be too bad since I was able to convince guidance to get me off of the honors track.

Success skills through service- From what I know about the teacher, she is pretty chill. I think this is a volunteering based class so I'm happy about that. I'm already active in the community with volunteering at the food ministry, animal shelter, Ronald McDonald house, etc. 

Semester 2:
Agriscience- I should be fine in this class. I kind of went backwards since this is the first class you're supposed to have in the courses, but I already took animal science, small animal science, large animal science, and vet science. Plus I was in FFA

Economics- it's a required course but the teacher is pretty cool

Personal finance- taught by the same teacher as Economics and the two classes will be taught in alternating days. I do have these classes with my best friend though

Success skills through service- I was told I could take it both semesters and get credit twice so I did

Psychology- I heard the teacher is alright as long as you stay on her good side so it shouldn't be too bad. Plus from what I've heard this class just turns into daily group therapy sessions. I love learning about how the brain works so this should be fun.

Over all I'm happy with what classes I have. The one thing I'm not happy about is that the school board decided that we would be starting school earlier in the morning. Oh and they are still 4-6 weeks away from finishing up the building for the junior high so classes are going to be displaced and it'll be chaos.
