Before school:
I woke up a bit late, guess my sleep schedule (Huh? who has one of those) is messed up from all the delays and cancellations. Which I'm confused on why they didn't delay school for the fog and flood warning in the county. I'm not going to complain though. 

First period:
We finished talking about the plant and animals in different biomes (teacher did a stupid joke about how flora and fauna weren't just names of two girls he met in the summer. And another joke about how freaks of nature are okay in the world and that our society has plenty of them so we're in good standing). Then we just had a coloring assignment and a word search.

Second period:
We were given a group assignment (I didn't join a group because I don't know anyone in the class and he can take points off if he wants) on designing a good or service for the school. My idea was to design a cafe where people can take a break from the school's stressful and overstimulating environment. I know that the library is a quiet place but in my opinion it's still stressful because of how quiet and bright it is. But the cafe would have games and a variety of snacks and drinks at very low prices compared to the vending machines and the school store.

Third period:
Again in the library but the librarian let me know that she'd put me to work if there was something that needs to be done if she sees me in the library during third. I actually nearly finished the project for economics. I just need a name for the cafe. If I can't think of one I'll just go with Cougar Cafe since that's our mascot.

Fourth period:
Todays topic was on sleeping. We went over things like sleep exhaustion, insomnia, and sleep apnea. I'm hoping we'll go over things like sleep paralysis and lucid dreaming tomorrow. I love those sleep topics. 

After school:
I went to volunteer at the animal shelter for an hour. They had their dishes done so I couldn't do that. Upstairs was organized. It was rainy outside so I didn't want to walk the dogs. I ended up just chilling with the cats for the whole hour. I mean, it counts for service hours I guess.
