It's been nineteen and a half years since Ulaz told Elara she had twenty years left to live which meant she has mere months left. She has been a little more tired than normal, the entire palace was aware of her limited time. The kids, now young adults, Helthena and Farah, 23,  Koltor, 22, and Delilah, 20, weren't taking it well. Delilah was more close to her mother than her other siblings. Zarkon and Sendak were getting more and more worried as the days went on. Ulaz was keeping a close eye on her. She was well aware of her limited time and tried to not overwork herself. She was tired, physically exhausted, not like the times when she doesn't get enough sleep, no, her body was physically exhausted. Right now it was night time and she was already asleep since she isn't able to keep herself awake when the sun goes down anymore, Zarkon and all the other adults were, including the kids were talking in the lounge room.

"She's declining faster now. She has an estimated four months left. Her body is getting more and more exhausted, when the time comes, she won't even be able to stand up on her own, she won't be strong  enough to manage her own weight and she nowhere near overweight at all." Ulaz said.

"What do we do then?" Helthena asked.

"There's not much we can do. She's been around for centuries, she's exhausted." Delilah chimed in.

"She's slipping away and she tries to show us she's ok, but she's not." Sendak said.

"She's making it worse for herself." Cressida said.

"I don't think she should work anymore." Koltor said.

"Neither do I, but she's not gonna like doing nothing." Zarkon said.

"Explain it to her then. She needs to know that has to take it easy on herself." Vetza said, she and Koltor are a thing now.

"We all need to keep a close eye on her, it's better that, she shouldn't be left alone, everyone's worried about her, even the dogs know she's not ok." Krolia said.

"Zarkon you'd should contact Zanthea and Bellatrix, they need to know as well." Kolivan said.

"He's right, The best we can do for her now is keep a close eye on her and make her final month stress free." Antok said.

"This is the conversation I never wanted to be a part of..." Sendak said, he was more than upset that he was losing his sister.

"I don't think any of us wanted to talk about this in the way we are right now." Thace sighed sadly.

"I'm too innocent for this." Regris chimed in.

"I think we can all agree that we just need to make her last few months happy and stressful." Ulaz said.

Everyone nodded in agreement and went off to get some sleep however, Zarkon barely got any sleep at all. He was afraid for once. He's never been this afraid since she passed after having Delilah. He was afraid that she would go in her sleep. As soon as time hit 1:00 a.m. he was able to finally get some sleep for about 4 hours. Time was passing by faster than anybody wanted it to.
