Right now, Lance was busy annoying the galra and the Paladins since he had nothing better to do.

"Mrs. Sassy pants guess what?" Lance asked, inches away from a very annoyed Elara and Zarkon.

"What now Lance?" Elara huffed.

"I ain't never seen two pretty best friends." Lance said then started wheezing.

"I'm very close to hurting him." Zarkon said.

Out of nowhere Coran started ranting about what Lance just said.

"You've never seen two pretty best friends?! Well I have!" Coran shouted as he normally.

"You have?" Pidge asked.

"I thought two pretty best friends were only a myth..." Lance said.

"What's going on?" Bellatrix, Lotor, and Zanthea asked.

"Human teenagers are strange..." Elara said.

"Clearly." Zarkon said. Coran started going off.

"Oh no..." Elara sighed.

"It was 10,000 years ago. Back when the universe was defended by the original paladins!"

Ten thousand years ago-

Elara, Melenor, and Coran were laughing their asses off in the Galra palace since the paladins were dealing with Lambonite Scavengers yet again. One year old Allura and Bellatrix were in a play pen I front of them and three year old Lotor was somewhere with Sendak, at this point Zarkon and Elara have been married for about a year and a half. The ladies were laughing stupid things Alfor and Zarkon have done while Coran was holding holding it in.

"There was a stray cat in the palace and Zarkon didn't know and we were walking down the halls and it jumped on him and he screamed and passed out, he almost peed himself!" Elara wheezed and both she and Melenor were crying tears of laughter.

They didn't notice Alfor, Zarkon, Blaytz, Gyrgan, and Trigel standing there. Zarkon was mortified.

"I'll never forget the time when Alfor slipped on his own while he was changing Allura." Melenor laughed but Elara got silent and wide eyed.

"What is it?" Melenor said as she recovered from her laugh attack. She turned around and her eyes widened when she saw the paladins.

"ZARKON'S A COWARD!" Blaytz cackled. Everyone but Zarkon started laughing so hard, poor space turtle was pale with embarrassment.

Present time-

"So therefore, Queen Melenor and Empress Elara were indeed two pretty best friends." Coran finished.

"Well... Thank you for that...." Elara said.

"Cars are terrifying..." Zarkon said.

"No they're not." Elara said.

"Says the woman afraid of centipedes." Zarkon snickered.

"They are ABSOLUTELY revolting." Elara protested.

"You have no reason to be afraid of cats. You flew around in a giant black lion, which is basically a giant cat for only the gods know how many years. You have literally no excuse." Elara said.

"You have literally no excuse blah blah blah." Zarkon mimicked. Elara sighed.

"You are literally a child in a grown man's body..." Elara said.

"I'm sorry but I think Z man and I take the cake for the two pretty, well, brutish good looking best friends. See?" Sendak as he and Zarkon gave charming grin.

"Not really." Elara said.

"How rude..." Sendak pouted.

"Melenor and I take the cake with flying colors bud."
