The paladins were celebrating Christmas on Allura's ship since they thought it'd be nice to do something that reminds them of home. They did invite galra just to spoil the babies and of course the teens, they couldn't care less about the adults. Keith and Shiro were more than ready spoil Bellatrix and Zanthea rotten, much to Zarkon's disliking, Elara didn't mind, the older girls are both old enough to date in her opinion. Zarkon was glaring at her as she smiled at the teen girls being spoiled, Helthena was playing a plush blue lion that Allura got for her while tiny two month old Farah was asleep with a pacifier that had the yellow lion on it in older sister, Zanthea's arms as Shiro gave her a dazzling necklace, Lotor didn't feel like attending. To be honest, everyone spoiled Helthena and Farah.

"Why are you looking at me like?" Elara questioned.

"You're so nonchalant about the dating thing with those two... It irks me." Zarkon scoffed.

"They're old enough to date, you just need to accept that they aren't little girls anymore. As a matter of fact, they stopped being little centuries ago." Elara said.

"So?" Zarkon hissed.

"Watch that tone, and you really, really need to let them go at some point. Shiro and Keith are good people for Zanthea and Bellatrix. You know that, and, just like us, both of those boys are bonded to black. That's enough for me to make sure that they are good guys, and if they hurt, you and I get to put them six feet under." Elara said. Zarkon sighed and gave up, knowing she was right.

"You're right... again." Zarkon mumbled.

"What was that? I couldn't hear you clearly. Speak up a little." Elara snickered.

"You're right." He said.

"As always of course." Elara grinned.

Out of nowhere Lance popped up in front of them.

"You guys suck at parties." Lance scoffed.

"Because that's not something usually done by Galra." Zarkon said.

"It's really not." Elara agreed.

"Have you mega boomers ever even been to one?" Lance questioned.

"Yes but it was of a gathering on Altea, Alfor and Melenor put them together all the time, but that specific turned a quick fight involving me, Melenor, Trigel, and a Lambonite scavenger." Elara said.

"AYO IT'S STORY TIME GATHER AROUND!" Lance yelled.

"Oh yay..." Elara said sarcastically.

Ten thousand years ago-

Alfor and Melenor put together a nice get together just for fun and many planet leaders showed up. Zarkon and Elara of course brought along three year old Lotor and one year old Bellatrix. Melenor, Trigel, and Elara were chatting near the entrance of the Altean Royal Hall, best friends Bellatrix and Allura, both a year old were babbling little words at eachother as they clung their Melenor and Elara's legs. Lotor stuck with Zarkon as he and the guys, being Alfor, Gyrgan, and Blaytz talked at the far end of the hall. Elara and Melenor were pestering Trigel on if she'd ever find a special someone.

"Come on Trigel, you, Gyrgan, and Blaytz are the single ones in the squad, you have to have somebody in your life." Elara said.

"It's not my time yet." Trigel chuckled.

"None of us are getting any younger. You've gotta start searching for your soulmate." Melenor said. Suddenly Elara's started twitching as she picked up faint crashing. She had better senses than that of a normal Galran. Melenor and Trigel noticed her change of behavior and got serious real quick.

"What is it?" Melenor asked.

"I hear crashing, as if there's fighting, it's getting closer, whoever they are came uninvited." Elara said. Out of nowhere, the hall's doors flew open and caused everyone to gasp.

"I get one day out of the palace and this is what happens?" Elara sighed.

"Lambonite scavengers, they're relentless." Trigel groaned. One scavenger for particularly close to the three ladies and the little princesses.

"Clearly... and one is getting way too close for comfort." Melenor said. Bellatrix and Allura hid behind their mothers. Trigel being a bad bleep whipped out her staff to keep scavenger at a distance. Another crept behind Elara kneeling down and got face with Bellatrix scaring the poor little girl. Little did the three ladies know Zarkon, Alfor, Blaytz, and Gyrgan were watching from afar, thinking of a way to get over there.

"Mama!" Bellatrix whined, immediately catching her mother's attention. Elara saw the scavenger dangerously close to her daughter and her ears went back and her pupils narrowed, plain signs of aggression. Without a moment of thought Elara landed a nice kick to the face, wrapped her tail around the scavenger's neck and dropped him in front of Melenor. She wasn't about to let the Lambonite anywhere near Allura and back hand slapped him right a crossed the face. Elara and Trigel looked at the Altean Queen in shock.

"What?" Melenor questioned.

"Wow..." Trigel said in disbelief.

"I... I never knew you had it in you." Elara said.

"Never make assumptions when it comes to my little girl right honey?" Melenor asked Allura.

"Yeah mama." Allura said.

"Awww!" Elara, Melenor, and Trigel said in unison, Trigel whacked an approaching scavenger in the face with her staff as the 'aw'd' over Allura. The men then walked up with Lotor.

"That was impressive." Zarkon said.

"Thank you." Elara said.

"You really need to do that more often." Alfor said to Melenor who nodded in agreement.

"So that's what Zarkon sees in her?" Blaytz blurted out.

Ah yes, the three leading ladies were a trio of bad bleeps indeed, they may not have put the paladins to shame but Elara and Melenor put fear in Zarkon and Alfor's hearts. As they should.

"So yeah that happened." Elara said.

"Wow..." Keith said.

"So who's the one that runs because I'm starting to change my opinion?" Lance asked.

"Well... our father is the one who handles the empire, but when it comes to the family, our mother calls the shots." Bellatrix explained.

"Pretty much." Elara said.

"Bullshit..." Zarkon mumbled.

"Watch the language and drop the attitude." Elara said seriously.

"Yes ma'am..."
