I'm speeding down the highway to the Imperial Capital. I'm little jittery but that's because I'm fucked up on Ripped Fuel. But Itami told me not to stop for anything and I'm scaring the girls. I also to play some tunes on my to get me more pumped for the fight that's coming up.

I really hope that thing doesn't turn into a quagmire like we got into like we got into with the Middle East. We gotta get to Capital, extract Pina, and the Emperor and get out of there. If that fucker Zorzal gets in the way I will personally put a bullet in his pretty boy face! I come up to up bump and in the road and we hit it straight on and jump a few feet in the air hit the ground making everyone shuffle around. Did I mention I'm fucked on Ripped Fuel?

Rory: Do you honestly need to drive so fast?

Y/N POV:

I drove for for almost the entire day, til we finally reached the safe house. Director Nyutabaru was there, he had informed us that the SDF already conducted the raid, evacuated political prisoners and civilians, decimated Zorzal's army, and withdrew. Fuck! I wish was here for that! I told Itami that the Ripped Fuel was starting to wear off and I needed to rest for a couple of hours. The Director said I could use a room upstairs, so I got up there, unpacked my gear, and just crashed on the bunk. After some time passed I heard a knock on the door. I rub my eyes and I look and my watch.

Y/N: (Forty-five minutes...I've been asleep for forty-five minutes.)

I hear the knock again.

Y/N: Who is it?

???: Lieutenant?

Hearing that voice, my heart nearly jumped out my chest. And I stand up from my bunk.

Y/N: Come in.

The door opens and walks in the woman I love. Kuribayashi stands at attention in front of me.

Kuribayashi: *salutes* Sergeant Kuribayashi! Reporting for duty sir!

Y/N: *salutes* Good to see you again Sergeant.

An awkward silence looms in the room for about five seconds.

Y/N: I heard you all kicked some serious ass recently. Sorry I missed it.

Kuribayashi: Is that all you have to say to me?!

Her hands are shaking, lowers her head down and I can see tears welling in her eyes.

Y/N: I-

She suddenly punches me really hard in the stomach knocking some wind out me.

Y/N: Wha-?

Kuribayashi: You're such an idiot!

Y/N: Shin-?

She starts punching me in the stomach over and over again and I offer no resistance. I know I deserve it.

Kuribayashi: Stupid! Wreck-less! Yankee! Idiot!

She delivers one last punch to my stomach and leaves lodge and there and I look in the eyes and tears are streaming down her face. Then she throws her arms around me and cries into my chest.

Y/N:I guess, you heard about the dragon, huh?

Kuribayashi: I heard you almost got yourself killed!

She looks up and me tears still streaming down her face.

Kuribayashi: Do you have any idea how worried I was?! What the hell were you thinking?!

Y/N: *sighs* Honestly, I really don't know.

I grab Kuribayashi's face and wipe her tears away.

Y/N: I'm sorry I scared you Shino.

Kuribayashi: F/N.

She wraps her arms around my neck and props herself up to kiss me. Then when we suddenly hear someone clearing their throat. And we see it's Yao and Tuka.

Yao: Did we interrupt you, Husband?

Y/N: (Oh shit! Why now!?)

Kuribayashi slowly turns her head back over to me with her right eye twitching.

Kuribayahi: Lieutenant, who is she? And why did she just call you "Husband?!"

Y/N: I can explain...

Yao: You must be Kuribayashi. I am Yao Haa Dushi, and I am his loyal slave and his wife.

Y/N: Yao! What did I tell you about that?!

This causes Kurbayashi to get pissed and grabs my collar and pull me very close to her

Kuribayashi: What the hell is she talking about?!

Yao: We have conducted The Three Night Ceremony. By sleeping with him for three nights, we are both bound to him.

Kuribayashi: Wait?! You too Tuka?!

Tuka:...Yes.

Y/N: (Oh God! No!)

Kuribayashi: You...Slept... With them?!

Y/N: It's not what you think!

Tuka walks up to Kuribayashi and puts her hand on her shoulder.

Tuka: Kuribayashi, I understand this must be a shock to you. But I want you to know that L/N loves you very much and...We have no intention of taking him from you.

Kuribayashi:...*points to Tuka and Yao* You two! Outside right now! *points to Y/N* And you! You stay right there!

Y/N: Right.

The three girls leave the room and I just sit on the bunk with my face in my hands. Thinking that, she's probably going to break up with me. I feel like such an dumb-ass right now. Like a Lance Corporal that got himself into a Vegas marriage, when he was already married! After nearly an hour of anxious waiting, The three reenter the room and Kuribayashi stands in front of me and I look directly in her eyes.

Y/N: I am so sorry. This was because of my cultural ignorance, but that's no excuse. I want you to know, I did not have relations with those two. Yo-...You were the last I was thinking about at that before everything went black in that cave. I love you Shino! I never want to hurt you! But I will completely understand if you never want to speak to me again.

I slump my head down clenching my fist in preparing for what I thought she was going to do. But she grabs my face, and makes me look at her she has a smile on. She leans down and kisses me passionately. I just went with it, after ten seconds she breaks the kiss.

Kuribayashi: That's all I needed to hear, I love you too F/N.

She lets go of me.

Y/N: I...I thought you would be...

Kuribayashi: Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm still gonna punish you for this.

Y/N: What did you talk about?

Kuribayashi: Just a little girl talk, They told me everything and I told them I had you first. And I did more than just "sleep" with you. Right?~

Tuka: I assured her that we had no intention of taking you from her.

Yao: Yes, we will not interfere in your relationship. All that we asked is that she'd be willing to share you.

Kuribayashi: I'm still skeptical about it but, you said you would take responsibility. Right?

Y/N: That might have been the Ripped Fuel talking. But yes...So what's going to happen?

Kuribayashi: This is what's gonna happen, when this is over...We're going on leave just the two of us. You're going to come with me back to Japan to meet my parents and sister. Then...We're going to America! I'm going to meet your mom, and you're going to mourn your dad! Is that clear Marine?!

Y/N: Crystal. Tuka, Yao are you okay with this?

Tuka: Yes, it's fine.

Yao: I believe we are in agreement.

Kuribayashi walks up to me and hugs me and rest her head on my chest. Tuka wraps herself around my left arm, Yao does the same with my right arm and they both rest heads on my shoulders and we just enjoy the moment. I guess I'm just gonna have to accept this...still don't know how I'm going to explain this to my mom though. After that harrowing ordeal the three of us made our way downstairs with Tomita, Kuwabara, Kurokawa, and Kurata are waiting. It's really great see everyone again....Even Kurata.

Y/N: Everyone, It's nice to see you all again.

Kuwabara: It's good to have you back, Marine!

Y/N: You as well, Sergeant Major.

Kurokawa: I hope you've been well, sir.

Y/N: I have been, Doc.

Tomita: Sir!

Y/N: Tomita, good to see ya Big Guy.

Y/N: I wonder how they'll feel about our other "arrangement?"

Tuka holds my other hand and Yao hugs me from behind. Surprising everyone especially Kurata.

Kurata: Wha-?! How did this happen you sir?!

We gather around a map of the Imperial Palace to plan a raid to rescue Pina and the Emperor.

Itami: Alright, so here's what were going to do. We need Rory and Lelei in the Palace. I will disguise myself as a footman and walk them through the front gate.

Y/N: Kurata, Kuribayashi you'll follow Tuka and infiltrate the rear gate. Tuka use your slumber magic to neutralize the guards.

Itami: Tomita, you and the old man will cover our escape.

Kuwabara: No problem, chief.

Y/N: Doc, Yao you two will locate and extract the Emperor. He's going to need medical attention while Yao provides security.

Kurokawa: Got it, how are how are we supposed to get inside?

Y/N: You'll be with us in the wagon that Itami will be pulling.

Itami: Once inside, we'll split up into groups. One for the Princess, one for the Emperor.

Y/N: Once the VIPs are secure, Kurata will rendezvous with us with the vehicle and we drive the fuck outta here.

Itami: And to cover the guards at the palace exit...we'll have Tomita and the old man.

Kuwabara: We should probably take an LAV for this.

Tomita: Yes, it has an M2.

Kuribayashi: *pounds fists together* I can handle the hand-to-hand combat!

Y/N: I know you can, but our primary objective is to recuse VIPs. But if that Prince does something stupid, do not hesitate to beat his ass again.

Tomita: But sir, why would the let you in? Even with Rory and Lelei accompanying you. I'm sure they must be watching you outside the JSDF presence.

Itami: Oh they won't, I won't be going in as a man in uniform. They won't even see us coming, it'll be a walk in the park.

After we finished the briefing and we began preparing for the raid by putting a wagon cover over the vehicle. Basically, it's going to be our Trojan Horse. I finished preparing my gear as Kuribayashi's team was about to head out.

Y/N: Alright this is it, good luck Shino.

Kuribayashi cups my face and gives me a big kiss on the lips and let's go.

Kuribayashi: Don't you die on me again!

Y/N: Heh, Marines don't die! We just go to Hell to regroup!

Tuka does the same thing.

Tuka: Good luck, Darling.

Y/N: Be careful Tuka.

They both head out as Kurata walks past me.

Kurata: *mumbles* I hate you.

The operation's a go. Itami struggles to pull the "wagon" through a semi-crowded street, with Lelei giving a little gas to help. With Rory riding shotgun, me, Kurokawa, and Yao riding in the back.

Itami: *struggling* I never said...that I would push this thing...all by myself! Man...you guys are worthless!

Rory: My grandmother could push harder than this. And she's been dead for a thousand years.

Itami: I thought this thing was supposed to feel lighter with the engine running?

Lelei: Well we can't move too fast or it end up looking suspicious.

Y/N: Ah, you need this Itami. I saw your last PFT score, it was pathetic!

Civilian: Uh hey there, Skinny. That look like a pretty heavy load. Where you headed?

Itami: We've been summoned by the Prince to the Imperial Palace.

Civilian: So you carrying some precious cargo or something? That's gotta be rough work.

We come up on the front gate where the guards stop us.

Y/N: *whisper* Doc, weapons at the ready.

Kurokawa: *whisper* Yes sir.

I train my sights on one the guards, and Kurokawa does the same with the other. Lelei and Rory get out and move toward the guards.

Guard 1: State your business. The Palace is under strict guard.

Guard 2: We cannot allow anyone through without permission.

Lelei: I am Lelei la Lalena, I'm from the Coda Village. The Prince has requested our presence here. Please tell him we've arrived.

Rory: We've been told he would like to speak to us about defeating the flame dragon.

The guards stand down and so do Kurokawa and I.

Guard 1: Oh, so you're the ones?!

Guard 2: Please...Please excuse us, my ladies!

Lelei: *presents paper* Here's our invitation.

Guards: Right!

Guard 1: Hey, Footman! Don't be an idiot!

Guard 2: You can't leave your wagon blocking the gate! Bring it inside!

Itami: Yes sir! But I...

The guards ignore him and let Lelei and Rory inside.

Guard 1: Come on in, please! Right this way!

Guard 2: Make yourself at home.

Rory: Thank you, darling.

Itami: Hey you guys?! *groans* Do I still have to drag this by myself? Who's plan was this?

Y/N: It was yours Idiot! Now put your back into it!

Kurokawa: Hang in there you got this, chief.

After we made our way into the courtyard and got out, it was time to split up.

Y/N: Here we go. Doc, Yao locate the Emperor. We'll rendezvous once we have the Princess.

Yao: Stay safe, Husband.

Yao grabs my shoulders and kisses me and lets go. Kurokawa walks past me smiling.

Kurokawa: You're one lucky man, Lieutenant.

Y/N: *sighs* I know, good luck Doc.

Kurokawa: Same to you sir.

After we split up Lelei, Rory, Itami, and I infiltrate the Palace and make our way to the throne room. Lelei putting the guards to sleep along the way.

Rory: They look so peaceful. Almost...dead.

Lelei: Every guard in the hallway should be out for a while.

Itami gets on the radio.

Itami: This is Itami, we're inside. How it's it going over there? Over.

Kuribayashi: *radio* This is Kuribayashi, we have made it to the Palace. Tuka put the guards to sleep. Over.

Y/N: Copy that, approaching Throne Room now. Over.

Itami quickly changed into his Dress Greens. We arrive at the door the the Throne Room and I put my ear to the door.

Y/N: I hear voices...sounds like...Zorzal's on the other side...Pina's there too.

We stack up near the door and I turn my selector switch from safe to semi.

Y/N: Everyone ready?

Itami: Ready.

Lelei: Yes.

Rory: Always.

Y/N: Yoji...I know I give you a lot shit. But I want you to know, I'm glad we met that day in Ginza man. These have truly been some of the best moments of my career.

Itami: It's been an honor serving with you as well. F/N.

Itami and I fist bump.

Itami: Try not to die this time, okay.

Y/N: *chuckles* Fuck you man....Lelei, Rory I don't know if was fate or your world's gods that brought together but I'm glad it did.

Y/N: Alright, to get ready to breach.

Lelei readies a spell, Rory readies herself in front of the door and we can hear that douche Zorzal boasting on the other side the door.

Zorzal: *muffled* And by the time they arrive we will have to regrouped...and prepared ourselves a counterattack for them! We've been taming a giant ogre just for the occasion! They can attack us whenever they please. Bring it on!

Rory: Oh really?

Y/N: Do it!

Rory smashes open the door with halberd and Lelei fires a energy ball at the window behind the throne. The smoke clears and Rory is in full murder mode giggling and licking her lips. then I enter the room rifle at the ready. followed by Itami and Lelei. Zorzal nearly shits himself at the sight of us.

Itami: It's been a long time Crown Prince Zorzal.

Y/N: Hey there Pretty Boy, heard you've lookin' for me. Well here I am.

I look over to see Pina enchained an wearing slave's clothes a under guard.

Pina: Itami, L/N! You're both here!

Pina tries to hide her shame.

Itami: Princess Pina. We are here to rescue you.

Itami and I approach Pina, Zorzal nearly trips and and sits down on his thrown. His men ready their weapons.

Zorzal: Stay away! You there! what are you guards doing?! Do not let them come anywhere near me!

Itami: Your elite soldiers outside decided to take a little nappy poo. Right now the only people who can protect you are right here.

Y/N: And Rory the Reaper is free to take on all challengers...So any takers?

Rory spins her halberd and give a excited giggle.

Rory: Hey.~

The Imperials soldiers are sudden hesitant about engaging us.

Y/N: Yeah, that's what I thought. Your men seem to be smarter than you Prince.

Zorzal: *growls* You are going to die! OGEERRE! GET IN HERE! COME AND TEAR THESE BASTARDS APART!

We hear loud foot steps and the floor shakes I look over to the door to large armor clad ogre coming through the door.

Lelei and and Rory immediately get away from the door as the ogre enters the room and I point my rifle at it.

Y/N: Holy shit!

Pina: Zorzal you've lost your mind!

Zorzal: I no longer have a choice. KILL THEM!!

Y/N: SPREAD OUT!!

The ogre lets out a roar and rages a giant club Rory circle left and Lelei circles right and take flight on her staff I fire a three rounds at his head but it bounces off the armor.

Y/N: Armors too thick! Can't do fuck all to that thing!

Zorzal: See! Your launchers have no effect here!

Y/N: Yeah! We'll see about that!

The ogre takes a swing at Lelei as she dashes toward a large column. Lelei skids on the ground at some soldier scatters as the column collapses. Lelei fires an energy shot through the debris at hits the ogre in the chest plate disorienting the ogre. I rush forward, and slide onto knee at fire three more shots at the ogre exposed chin. Rory leaps into the air, lets out a giggle and ecstatic moan and raises her halberd high into the air.

Rory: The bigger the foe the better it feels!~

Lelei fires another shot and misses Rory then comes down with a mighty swing and splits in half and Lelei charges up six shots and fires them simultaneously and they all hit there mark as I pull back from the ogre. The creature lets out a pained roar and collapses on to the floor still breathing. I walk up to it, stick my rifle barrel into the visors of his helmet, and shoot it three times in the head. I walk away from the ogre as it stops breathing. Everyone around us is shocked that ogre had been killed.

Y/N: Was that supposed to be your trump card? It's a little clumsy.

Itami: Looks like it's almost time. Your Highness, we'll be leaving now.

Zorzal: Huh?

Itami: Oh and one more thing. Our objective for today, involving making sure you and your men never go after Lelei and L/N again.

I point my rifle at Pina's guard and force him back.

Y/N: Back the fuck up!

Itami: Oh, and to rescue the royal princess.

Y/N: Princess, it's time to go.

Pina: Itami, L/N I...

Itami: Heh, remember we're the Self Defense Force that care. The good guys.

Zorzal gets up from his throne.

Zorzal: Hold it! It's not over between you and me! Let's go one on one right now!

I hand Itami my rifle and walk toward the Prince stretching my gloves.

Y/N: Oh I'll take you on!

Zorzal: You're the American right?! You think you're better than me!?

He draws his sword.

Y/N: Well, this time you're not gonna get your ass kicked by a girl half your size. You're gonna get your ass kicked by a Marine.

Zorzal: A Marine! Well come on then! I'm not afraid of some sea dog!

Y/N: Oh you got that wrong Princey. I'm not a sea dog. *cracks knuckles* I'm a Devil Dog!

Zorzal charges at me screaming and slashes at me with a downward swing and dodge left and deliver three jabs to his face pissing him off.

Zorzal: *growls* SON OF A BITCH!!

He comes at me again with an upward swing. I quickly dodge and deliver solid punch to his stomach and he falls to his knees vomiting. I grab his head rock my right leg back and bash his head with my knee right into his face. He falls to his back dropping his sword, he grovels in pain and I kick his sword away from him. Then I walk up to him kick him really sharply in the ribs and he cries out.

Y/N: That was for Noriko!

I pick him up by his shirt and give a huge punch to the face.

Y/N: That's for sicking those assassins on me!

I punch him again.

Y/N: That's for trying to kill Lelei!

And again.

Y/N: That's for all the people you hurt!

And again.

Y/N: That's for calling my girlfriend "Little Girl!"

Y/N: That one's for the SDF!

Then I pull him close to me.

Y/N: And this one's for the Corps!

I rock my head back and headbutt really hard and he goes down hard beaten, bloodied, and writhing in pain.

Itami: L/N, that's enough.

I put my boot really hard on his chest and he struggle to get me off. I pull out my last cigarette and light it up, take a drag. Zorzal's men faces have shock and disbelief that their Prince has been defeated.

Y/N: All hail the Crown Prince! Defeated again in front of his men! And under the boot of a "Commoner!"

Zorzal: Y-You low born scum!

I take another drag.

Y/N: *blows smoke* My last smoke...and I'm wasting it on you.

Zorzal: GET OFF ME!!

Y/N: I don't think you'll live this shame down...*draws pistol and aims at Zozal* In fact, I should put you out of your misery. Right here, right now.

Zorzal: No! Wait please! No!

I slowly start squeezing the trigger as the Prince begs for his worthless life. Pina gives Itami a pleading look.

Itami: L/N! It's time to go.

I holster my pistol, take my boot off Zorzal, and take one long last drag of my cigarette.

Y/N: You're pathetic, I have better places to be at right now. But if we ever meet again on the field. That's when I'll kill you. Maybe then you can die like a man.

I flick my cigarette right in his face and regroup with others and Itami hands me back my rifle. Zorzal angrily stands up and draws a dagger.

Zorzal: You...You...BASTARD!!

He charges at us screaming like a mad man and I grab my radio.

Y/N: Take it.

A sniper's bullet zips past his face and impacts right in front of him followed by the the shot. The sound between the impact and the shot puts the sniper about klick out the opening in the window provided a clear line of sight. Zorzal stands there frozen with fear at what just happened.

Itami: No matter where you are, you'll always be within our sights. You step out of line and we drop you.

Y/N: We'll say it again. You will stop coming after me and Lelei. And give us Princess Pina.

Itami: Otherwise, next time, a bullet is going right through your skull. Do you understand what we're telling you?

Y/N: *flips off Zorzal* Later, douche-bag!

Itami: Alright....Let's go!

We leave Zozal practically pissing himself. Itami carries Pina on his back and we quickly leave the throne room and make our way outside the Palace. Kurata brings the vehicle around the corner.

Kurata: Hey Chief! ya need a ride?!

Itami: Right on time!

Everyone boards the vehicle while I provide security. I hop in the back with Pina and Lelei. Itami rides shotgun with Rory siting on his lap and we speed away.

Itmai: Uh Rory...You don't have to sit on my lap! Plenty of room in the back!

Rory: Oh. What? But we'll be picking up some other people too, right? I don't like being crowded.~

Kurata: Oh come on! I see nothing has changed has it?!

Itami: I am not enjoying this!

Kurata: Bad enough that the American has Kuribayashi, Tuka, and that dark elf Yao! This is so not fair!

Y/N: Shut up and drive Kurata!

Itami: Now, what's the status if the others?

Kurata: Okay so...Kurbayashi is already engaged in a firefight.

Kurata: There's not that many of them but Tuka's magic won't last much longer. As for Kurokawa...

Kurokawa: *radio* This is Kurokawa. We have the Emperor with us. His vital are looking good!

Itami: Roger that!

Y/N: Contact! Dead ahead!

We drive across a bridge where enemy infantry try to block us with a shield wall on the other side. Two of them try charging at us.

Itami: Get outta the way!

Itami lean out our widows and fire our weapons dropping the two charging soldiers.

Itami: Move it you dummies! Getting hit by a car really hurts!

Y/N: Ram 'em Kurata!

Kurata steps on the gas harder and slams right into their line sending a few of them flying into a wall. Kurata does a hard right speeding away from the barricade.

Y/N: G-T-A! MOTHER FUCKERS!

We make our way to Kuribayashi and Tuka who already engaging a squad sized force...well half a squad now. Kurata stop the vehicle close to them.

Y/N: Shino, Tuka! Get on board!

They quickly climb in that back as  Itami and I lean out our windows to provide covering fire. And kill two hostiles.

Itami: Kurata!

Kurata: Moving out!

Kurata speeds away and we contact Kurokawa.

Y/N: Doc, We got Tuka and Kuribayashi. We're en route to your position now. Stand by.

Kurokawa: *radio* Roger that.

We quickly reach Kurokawa position and extract her, the Emperor, and Hamilton as well.

Itami: Great! Everyone's here!

Y/N: Kurata! Drive to the West Gate!

Kurata: Yes sir! Hang on this is gonna be close!

Kurata barely scrapes through the Palace gate as the enemy tries to close it. We speed over a slope and everyone shuffles around. We come up near a inner city gate but the enemy is already closing it. And Kurata slams on the brakes.

Kurata: AAGH! WE'RE NOT GONNA MAKE IT!

An explosion blows the gate wide open killing the hostiles trying to close it.

Itami: What was that?!

The smoke clears as we see Tomita atop the LAV turret armed with an RPG.

Tomita: Gotta clear passage for you, Chief!

Y/N: Hell of a shot Tomita! Punch it!

We drive through the slums to make it through the West Gate with the LAV taking point along the way.

Kuwabara: *radio* Don't shoot on the city streets. We don't want any of the stray round to hit the civilians!

Tomita: *radio* If we can get through the castle gate, then we can stop them.

Kuwabara: *radio* Well...then we better make it.

Y/N: You copy that Kurata?!

Kurata: Yes sir!

We once again run into another line of infantry trying to stop us with a shield wall. Our vehicles make a hard right surprising them at our speed. We approach the West Gate that's being help by a team SDF Special Forces operators call sign "Archer."

Tomita: *radio* We're at the West Gate.

Archer: *radio* Keep advancing.

I look at our 6 o'clock.

Y/N: Contact rear! Enemy cavalry!

Itami: These guys don't ever give up!

Y/N: Archer, stand by!

Archer: *radio* Ready to fire.

We speed through the West Gate with cavalry in pursuit. The cavalry get just outside the gate.

Y/N: Do it!

Archer: *radio* Fire!

The cavalry are obliterated by C4 placed in the ground, horses and all with barely their helmets remain. And we celebrate our win.

Kuwabara: *radio* That took care of 'em!

Kurata: Yeah! We did it!

Y/N: Fuck yeah! I love this job!

Itami: I love it when a plan comes together!

I was about to breathe a sigh of relief when Kuribayashi suddenly hugs me along with Tuka and Yao. I hug them back.

Y/N: Hey, you all okay?

Yao: I'm alright.

Tuka: I'm fine as well.

Kuribayashi: I'm okay.

They let go.

Y/N: Shino, I gave that Prince a beating for you.

Kuribayashi: God, I love you!

Y/N: Doc.

Kurokawa: Sir?

Y/N: I...I just gave up smoking.

Kurokawa: Oh, good for you sir! Now about your drinking...

Y/N: Don't push it.

Pina is clearly tired from the day she's had. Hamilton is in tears seeing her Princess again.

Hamilton: Princess Pina!

Pina: Hi, Hamilton.

Hamilton: I'm so glad you're safe. Your Highness...If anything awful would have happened to you, I would have just died!

Pina: I'm sorry if I frightened you.

She looks down at the unconcious Emperor.

Pina: Oh father...I apperciate this. I can't thank you both enough for resucing the Emperor. I take it...He was the prority. I guess it was blind luck you found me as well.

Itami: Not at all. Our primary objective of this mission was to get you out and someplace safe, Princess Pina. After that, if we were able to find the Emperor, then we were to extract him.

Hamilton: Saving the Emperor was secondary?!

Y/N: Um! We're were also under orders from Command to...Extract all remaining VIPs from the Capital! Right Itami?!

Itami: Yes, that came as direct order from our boss. That if we're going in to save the Princess, the we would need to rescue the Emperor as well.

Pina: What's the ulterior motive?

Itami: We need to be seen as an alliance.

Y/N: If you're joined by the Emperor and the pro-peace Senators-

???: Then we can show that there is only one traitor within the Imperial regime.

The voice is coming from the Emperor who finally woke up and leans up.

Pina & Hamilton: Father!/Your Majesty!

Kurokawa: Are you all right...Your Highness?

Molto: Yes, despite the exceedingly bumpy ride. I do believe that I'm doing rather well.

Itami: I'm glad you're okay. And the Senate representatives have been successfully evacuated to Italica. At our current speed we should be there by tomorrow.

Molto: On horseback that always took several days, but this contraption our world has gotten smaller. Truly incredible.

Pina: Father! Zorzal is trying it create mass confusion within the country. Stop him! Please speak with him make him listen to reason.

Molto: *shakes head* There's no point in my going back to the Capital. Your brother won't even pretend to listen to what I have to say anymore anyway. No, it's best if we go along with Japan's plot.

Pina: Plot?

Molto: Civil war is now inevitable...Young Marine, it is good to see you again.

Y/N: Good to see you up and around sir.

Molto: I was hoping to begin formal relations with your country...Are you still willing start them with my daughter?

Pina: Father?

Molto: Pina...I'm making you Crown Princess of the Empire.

Pina: What? You want me?

Molto: I want you to be the voice to establish a legitimate government, and lead the opposition against your brother.

Pina: No, Father! I cannot go against him!

Molto: The choice will be yours to do what you think is best. You can seek peace with him, or you can divide the Empire in two.

Alnus Hill, Y/N's Quarters

Y/N POV:

Several days have past since the raid, reports from our spies have told us Zorzal's fled the Capital. Guess we made him paranoid. The Emperor's in Italica and expected to make a full recovery, and soon Pina will be made Crown Princess. A treaty was between the Pina's government and Japan has been formed and I was to sign it as a witness. We headed back to base to celebrate our victory. We had a party at the tavern and...I can't remember anything after that. I wake up in my bunk with a splitting headache and the rest of my body completely numb.

Y/N: (Ohh...my head...What the hell happened last night?)

Suddenly there's some rustling between my sheets and a figure is lumped between them and it's revealed to be Kuribayashi...naked and resting her head on my chest and she wakes up with a smile and gives me a kiss.

Kuribayashi: Morning F/N.~

Y/N: Hey...What happened? The last twelve hours are a complete blur.

Kuribayashi: You don't remember? We came back base, cleaned up, and we went to the tavern. And you knocked back quite a few drinks.

Flashback: Tavern

Y/N is have a drinking competition with SDF soldiers, and Special Region people including demi-humans.

Party Goers: GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO! GO!

Y/N is the first to finish and slams his mug onto the bar and everyone cheers.

Y/N: Who's ready for another round, huh?! Come on!

Y/N: Ohhh..Yeah.

Kuribayashi: You won five times in a row.

Y/N: That still doesn't explain the headache. It had to have been more than just ale.

Kuribayashi: Welll...

Y/N: Alright! Who's ready for some real liquor?!

Y/N pulls out a bottle of Maker's Mark.

Y/N: Who wants shots?!

Party Goers: AYE!!

Y/N pours shots for everyone who wants one and they raise your glasses.

Everyone: CHEERS!!

They all take their shots and over half of them faint.

Y/N: Oh come on! That was just one shot! How about another?!

Y/N: *groans* Beer before liquor. What was I thinking?

Kuribayashi: Then you arm wrestled a dwarf.

Flashback

Y/N and a dwarf are about to arm wrestle with Delilah being the referee.

Dwarf: Let's see what you got, human!

Y/N: Don't cry when you lose, stubby!

They lock hands and Delilah places her hand on theirs.

Delilah: Annnd..GO!

The two begin struggling with party goers cheering them on.

Dwarf: Come on! Don't let that human beat you!

SDF Soldier: Get 'em Lieutenant!

Human: Who want to put some action on this?! My money's on the dwarf!

SDF Soldier: Mine's on the American!

After about four minutes of struggling, finally Y/N sums all his strength and slams the dwarf's arm into the table. Everyone cheers or groans at the result and Delilah raises Y/N's hand.

Delilah: And the winner is! L/N of the US Marines!

Y/N: OH-RAH!

Y/N proceeds to down another shot of bourbon.

Y/N: Who's next?!

Y/N: I have a vague recollection of that.

Kuribayashi: Then you had a rather...awkward conversation with Tomita.

Y/N: Oh shit! Did I say something racist?!

Kuribayashi: Not really...

Flashback

Y/N comes across Tomita having a drink with Bozes while she isn't .

Y/N: Hey Tomita, Bozes!

Bozes: Hello, L/N.

Y/N: You're not drinking?

Tomita: Well sir...We've been seeing each other and....

Bozes: I'm pregnant.

Y/N: Oh! That's great! Congrats you two!...Wait, when did this start?

Tomita: Back in Tokyo sir.

Y/N: No shit! Me and Kuribayashi starting see each other around the exact same time!

Y/N takes another shot.

Y/N: *coughs* Ya know...We after Itami and I we captured by her...Pina ordered her to sleep with me as a bribe.

Bozes: *blushes* Well I-I-I um...

Y/N: Or was that other one Pan-ache? I don't know I lost quite a bit of blood.

Kuribayashi grabs Y/N arm and drags him away from them.

Kuribayashi: Okay Lieutenant, I think you've had enough!

Y/N: Oh hey Shino! Did you hear?! These two are having a baby!

Kuribayashi: Sorry Tomita, C'mon let's go sir!

Y/N: Oh Shino, you-you know I love you!...and Tuka, and Yao.

Y/N: Ohhh fuck! Please remind me to apologize to them later. What happened next?

Kuribayashi: Tuka, Yao, and I carried you back here.

Kuribayashi, Tuka, and Yao are carrying Y/N  through the base while he drunkenly sings.

Yao: Is he always like this when intoxicated?

Kuribayashi: Not to this level.

Y/N: I SLAYED A DRAGON! THOSE RECRUITMENT ADS WERE RIGHT! I'M THE GREATEST MARINE OF ALL TIME!

Tuka: L/N, keep your voice down!

Y/N: Tuka, Tuka...You can call me F/N...you and Yao are my wives after all. *drunk laugh* Oh god, my mom's gonna kill me.

Kuribayashi:....Well, I wasn't the only one that had fun last night.~

There is some additional rustling in my sheets then Tuka and Yao emerge both naked and clinging to my arms.

Y/N:....Oh no.

Yao: Mmmm...Morning.~

Tuka: Um...Good Morning F/N.

Y/N: Di-did we uh...?

Kuribayashi: Yep.~

Y/N: I really wished I remembered this.

Yao: *giggles* I'll tell you.~

Yao get real close to my ear and starts whispering intimate details of last night's session.

Y/N: Uh-huh....Yeah....Oh...Oh!....Shino you and her were competing?

Kuribayashi: Well she kept bragging about how she better than me for "that."

Yao: I have over 300 years over learning the how to seduce men! You are merely a novice compared to me.

Kuribayashi: Hrrmm, Well I still know him better than you!

Yao: And also.~*whispers*

Y/N: Tuka, this was your first time?!

Tuka hides her face in the sheets in embarrassment for a moment.

Tuka: Y-Yes.

Y/N: I didn't hurt you did I?

Tuka: It hurt a little. *kisses Y/N* But you were gentle with me and it felt really good.

Y/N: Well, guess we better shower and pack our things. We're going on leave. You and me right Shino?

Shino: Yeah.

The Gate

After cleaning up and packing up our things we met up with the others at the Gate to say goodbye for now. Everyone's here Lelei, Rory, Tuka, Yao, Kuwabara, Kurokawa, Tomita, Kurata, and Itami.

Lelei: Have safe trip home L/N.

Y/N: Thanks Lelei.

I place my hands on Lelei's shoulders.

Y/N: Lelei, you're gonna do great things.

Lelei gives me a smile and give me a hug. Then I move to Rory.

Y/N: Rory.

Rory: L/N.

Y/N: Try not to kill anyone here while I'm gone.

Rory jumps and wraps her arms around my my neck.

Rory: Then you'd better come back.~ I truly enjoy our battles together...Sweetie.~

Rory gives me a kiss on the cheeck making Kuribayashi eye twitch.

Kuribayashi: Really?!

Rory: Ohhh scary!~ I was just giving him my blessing so you'll have a safe trip.

I put Rory down, then move to Tuka and Yao.

Y/N: Hey, I'm sorry that I can't bring you two along. The paper work getting you both through Customs would be a task and a half. I hope you understand.

Tuka: We do, plus we had an agreement.

Yao: Yes, just come back soon F/N.

Y/N: There we go, Tuka remember what we talked about in the Infirmary.

Tuka: I will, I love you F/N

Y/N: I do too...Yao, try not to cause trouble this time while I'm gone.

Yao: Of course, I love you F/N.

Y/N: Me too.

They both give me a kiss on the lips and I move to Kuwabara.

Y/N: Sergeant Major, you're a credit to your enlisted and your country.

Kuwabara: You're fine officer and upstanding Marine sir. You do your country proud as well.

We salute each other and shake hands. Then onto Kurokawa.

Y/N: Doc.

Kurokawa: Lieutenant, I'll always be here if you need me sir.

Y/N: *sighs* Stop trying to be my mom.

Y/N: That's probably why you're a good medic Doc.

We salute each other and she gives me a hug. Tomita was next.

Y/N: Listen, sorry about last night. Drunk me can get kind of stupid.

Tomita: It's alright sir, have a safe trip.

Y/N: Take care Bozes and you're kid Big Guy. That's an order.

Tomita: Yes sir!

We salute each other and fist bump....Now onto to Kurata.

Kurata: Sir!

Y/N: Kurata...You'll get laid one day.

Kurata: Huh?!

Everyone laughs and Kurata begrudgingly salutes me. I salute back and pat him on the shoulder. Then finally Itami.

Y/N: Yoji....I was wrong, you'd make a damn fine Marine.

Itami: Thanks F/N, look after Kuribayashi man. And your don't keep your "wives" waiting too long.

Y/N: *chuckles* Fuck you man.

Itami and bro hug and head to Kuribayashi, pick our thing and we were about to walk through the Gate when a black car rolls up in front of us. And out comes General Hazama and Yanagida.

Y/N: General?

Hazama: I came to see you off Lieutenant. Enjoy your leave, your post will be here when you get back.

Y/N: Yes sir.

Yanagida: This car will take you anywhere you want to go L/N. Safe travels Yankee.

Y/N: Thanks, Desk Jockey.

Hazama: And look after my soldier, Marine!

Y/N: Aye aye sir!

The General and I salute each other and Kuribayashi salutes as well. We look back to see everyone waving at us at we wave back. Then we pile into the backseat and the driver takes it through the Gate and we hold hands.

Y/N: Well, where should we go first Shino?

Kuribayashi: Hmmm...how about my parents house.

Y/N: Okay then.

Time Skip: Yokota Air Base

Y/N POV:

It had been a long time coming but I was finally going home. I still spent a few more days in Japan with Kuribayashi mostly just to meet her family and finish that tour of Tokyo I never got. We're waiting for our plane to take us to the States on the near the runway with fully loaded duffle bags and back packs.

Y/N: Sorry this is taking so long, bureaucracy and all.

Kuribayashi: Why you didn't to want go to Haneda?

Y/N: Yanagida tipped me off that they're were a lot of press lurking around there. I don't want to deal with that.

Kuribayashi: I guess.

Y/N: Hey, your family was real treat by the way.

Kuribayashi: You really think so?

Y/N: Yeah, you're parents were treating me like a son.

Kuribayashi: Ohh don't pay that any mind. They were just happy I brought a guy home to meet them. And sorry they brought your dad...I know that's really hard for you.

Y/N: It's fine, *chuckles* though was kinda funny when your sister called me brother.

We have a little laugh as my phone goes off and I look that there's a text from Risa with a picture attached with it and I have even a harder laugh.

Y/N: Check it out, Itami tried to go to a convention and Lelei and Rory suddenly showed up! And the cops showed up to take them away for their own safety!

Kuribyashi: No way! What freakin' dork!

We continue to laugh at Itami's expense when US Air Force Tech Sergeant shows up.

Tech Sergeant: *clears throat* Okay, Lieutenant you two are good to go. A C-17 waiting on for you near Runway 5. Be warned sir, the pilot's a bit of a jackass.

Y/N: That's nothing new for your branch.

Tech Sergeant: Just sign this form sir.

I sign the form.

Kuribayashi: A whole military transport plane just for the two us? Don't you think that's wasteful?

Tech Sergeant: Sergeant, we dropped 400 billion dollars on a jet that doesn't even fly right. This is nothing compared to that.

Kuribayashi raises an eyebrow at that.

Y/N: He's not joking that really happened. Alright thanks for everything Tech Sergeant.

Tech Sergeant: Hey, when the Colonel heard the Dragon Slayer wanted a plane. He was on board with getting you one. You two have a safe trip*salute*sir.

I salute back, we grab our bufflebags and packs and head toward the runway where our plane was waiting for us.

The rear ramps comes down where the pilot who's a Major is waiting for us.

Major: Lieutenant.

Y/N: Major.

Major: So my manifest is just the two of you. So where we going?

Y/N: Camp Pendleton.

Major: Okay, just let me get a flight plan together. Get yourselves settled in won't be but a moment.

Y/N: Thank you sir.

Major: By the way....You two a thing?

Y/N: Sir, with all due repect. Just fly the fucking plane.

Major: *chuckles* Just messing with you Marine.

We take our seats and put our seat belts on as the ramp comes up. The plane engines starts spining up. And the pilot comes on the PA.

Major: *PA* Lady and Jarhead, this your Captain speaking we will soon begin taxing onto the runway where we will begin our non-stop flight to Camp Pendleton, California. Make sure your starpped for take-off. And we would like to thank you for flying with the United States Air Force.

The plane taxis onto the runway.

Y/N: Here we go, You ready Shino?

Kuribayashi: Always, I'll go anywhere I as long as I'm with you.

She rests her head on my shoulder.

Kuribayshi: I love you, F/N.

Y/N: I love you too.

The plane engines spin even faster as we feel the plane move faster. We feel the plane take off and our long voyage to America starts.
