'Whoa...He's so cool,' thought the little girl who was hidden safely. Her eyes was primarily focused on a certain boy with grey locks. He was kicked the soccer ball on some kind of design that he used as a target to use.

(Y/N) would often come near to the caged playground to look at the boy who kept on coming back. He intrigued her because he was alone. She knew soccer was supposedly played a team. It made her want to come out and introduce herself and play with him. Yet a part of her did not want to disturb him because he was really focused to target the ball in the "bullseye" of the red circle.

"What do you want?" she shivered hearing the cold and harsh voice of the boy who still kept on aiming the ball. She was flustered when the grey headed boy actually knew she was there watching him.

'I thought I was hidden well,' she thought.

"I-I think your soccer is cool!" he suddenly stopped kicking the ball. The only sound between them was the ball bouncing against the ground before rolling off to her position slowly. She felt scared all of a sudden when the boy did not replied her.

"My...soccer?" she felt like she was getting smaller and smaller every second under his hard cold gaze.

"I hate soccer! Soccer is-"

"-you won't be playing soccer if you hate it!" she blurted out with frustration. She gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. Her heart was beating in an intense speed.

'O-oh no...' she thought in horror. She closed her eyes and crouched down, her head down in shame. She was ready get beaten up, she was sure that he would be mad and would not even care if she was a girl. The girl assumed that he does not care, if she insulted him in some way, he would get none of it from her.

"Tch," she heard the boy grunted with his foot step coming closer every step. She opened her eyes and looked at him. His eyes reflected hatred but she knew it was not meant for her. It looked like it was something that has to do with soccer though.

"Whatever," he scoffed before leaving the caged grounds with his soccer ball in between his hands.

The next day was like any normal day to the short haired male. Haizaki still did his daily practice with accurately aiming for the center of the circle. He was confused that why he was thinking differently.

"She's just some girl," he grumbled under his breath as he kept on the kicking the ball with all his strength.

He remembered her scared expression, it made him bothered all of a sudden.

'Do I look...scary?' He thought but tried to shove the thought away.

"U-um...Haizaki Ryouhei-san?" when he heard her soft voice, he was taken by surprise. He thought that he was able to successfully scare the little girl yesterday.

It seems not.

"What do you want," He huffed, trying not to look at (Y/N).

"I want to accompany you!" she beamed. Hearing this, it made Haizaki felt a weird feeling.

"Wh-what?" he asked disbelief, he got the ball after it hit the target. His multi-colored eyes were wide in astonishment. He slowly moved his figure to face the small girl.

"Yep! I know how bad I was to cut you off yesterday and I'm sorry for that," she bowed for forgiveness and stood up properly once again.

"But I want to look at your plays!" she continued with a big bright smile that can be in par with the sun up above.

'My only goal is to bring justice to Akane.'

"Fine, I don't care anyway," he went back to practicing. He felt another of that strange feeling when he heard the (H/C) girl clapped her hands and squealed with glee.

"Go Haizaki-kun!" she cheered as he kept on shooting for the target. He grunted and rolled his eyes in annoyance.

'When will she stop shouting?'

"Go Haizaki-kun!" she cheered when it was Haizaki's first ever soccer match. He smirked and began to advance, shocking the opposing team greatly.

'Heh, a newbie winning against an experience team is just sad.'

"Go Haizaki-kun!" she cheered when he and his team were able to win against Kidokawa Seishou where they have the Legendary Striker and incomparable teamwork. He looked over to the whole range of audience surrounding them in the stadium. He remembered his first match was only in a small venue. A few people were there to watch, no more, no less.

A certain (E/C) eyed girl was always there to support him. He did not believe that he was actually trying to find her out of all the different people in the crowd.

"Haizaki-kun, here!" despite the loud cheering by the crowd, he could hear her melodic voice loud and clear. His eyes brightened up seeing her but he reverted back quickly to his old self. He waved his hand in her direction while trying to hide his face among his grey locks. He was able to peek through his hair that she waved back more energetically as ever.

"Is that your girlfriend, Haizaki?" His head swiftly turned to the familiar voice. He growled and crossed his arms against his chest, looking like his stubborn self. He tried his best to cover his face because he could feel his face heating up in embarrassment.

"Tch, why would I have a girlfriend? I'm focused in taking down that Balance of Ares, remember?!" he retorted with an angered look.

Yet there was a thought behind the back of his mind if (Y/N) liked him in some way-

'Why would I think of that?!' he thought.

Maybe there was also that part that actually helped him improved in soccer was (Y/N) everlasting support. He did not know why he would feel happy winning a game, what he knew was he was supposed to be mad at soccer and the program that made his friend, Akane on the state she was in now. Yet he could not stop the feeling that he felt like he wanted to kick the ball even if it was not needed.

"I don't care what your motive is, but you can look at (L/N) and think about what soccer truly is to you," he pat him on the shoulder before leaving to change his clothes in the locker room.

'That Kidou...'

"Haizaki-kun, your shoot was so great! It was flashy and and...!" she continued to talk about his performance when they started to walk back to their houses that were just next to each other. Haizaki was listening to her every word yet he tried to act he was not. His eyes were focused to the path

"Thanks for cheering me," he mumbled under his breath. (Y/N) gapped hearing this, she suddenly stopped talking about his offensive moves during the game. Her heart skipped a beat, she could feel her face getting redder.

"I-it's no problem, Haizaki-kun," she spoke with a shy voice.

"Not just of earlier, I meant..." he caught a glimpse of a pair of pretty (E/C) hues staring at him with curiosity.

"Thank you for always cheering for me since the beginning."
