"(Y/N)?"

"Mi-Miyano-s-san...!" She squeaked along with her signature stutter. She could feel her heart raising and beating in almost a million beats per second!

"My life is over!" she wailed as she dropped in a dark secluded place, a white flash of light directed up from the sky dropped unto her.

Gouenji, who played as Miyano was stunned for quite a while when he saw the harsh light pointed towards the female yet he saw how it had complimented her features, even sharpening them to become more refine and stunning. Her (H/C) hair reflecting softly shines, her (E/C) eyes shimmering as if there was a whole new universe reflecting in them. Her lips parted, a big frown with full of despair.

"Cut!" the spotlight turned off abruptly and the remaining background darkness brightened.

'It felt so real...' (Y/N) thought as she placed a hand over her heart, feeling the beat of her heart rummaging against her ribcage.

"Whoa, I really need to get used to the abrupt light," Gouenji heard her small complain. She had tried to grab for someone to support for her to stand up properly after falling down in a dramatic way. The blond boy immediately offer his arm for her to hold unto.

"I've improved right, (B/F/N)?" her eyes closed as she bursted in a fit of laughter as she stood up slowly.

"You seemed to be fitter than usual, strange," she began to mumble under breath.

"That's because (B/F/N) isn't here, (L/N)," his voice struck (Y/N) even if his tone was calm and soft. Her heart was truly beating swiftly, there was no acting or any sort!

"G-gouenji-san...?!" her hold onto his sturdy arm loosen when she gasped, finally seeing the boy much clearer now. She could feel herself knocked out of balance due to letting go but she quickly went back to her senses and hold on to his arm again. It was a bold move in her opinion.

"I'm so so so sorry, Gouenji-san!" she stood up quickly and bowed several times, her eyes tightly shut, embarrassed of her reaction just earlier.

"What's wrong?" her face went red and she opened her eyes slowly, now seeing the sharp eyes of the boy solely focused on her only.

"N-nothing...!" she was able to squeeze out a small reply to the boy.

"Gouenji!" although she wasn't called, she still directed her watery orbs to the youthful boy who called out for their companion.

"Oh, hi (L/N), didn't see ya there!" the same boy grinned foolishly.

"That's a really cute position right there, (L/N)," Kazemaru chuckled, clearly pointing out the awkward position of (Y/N) and Gouenji.

"Wh-what's cute about it!?" she spoke with heated cheeks, quickly scrambling out from Gouenji's grip and standing up, straightening her uniform skirt as a way of distracting herself from small chuckles around her.

"Did you forgot that we have training?" Gouenji shook his head in amusement, a side of his mouth rose.

"I didn't forget, don't worry Endou," he patted Endou on the shoulders before raising his hand as a subtle sign of a goodbye for (Y/N).

The girl took efforts to raise her hand and to give a small beaming smile to the trio of soccer players before they finally left.

(Y/N) wanted to overlook their training, more specifically, Gouenji. It wasn't much of a daily schedule because it would be too obvious that she was interested in either one of the players of the soccer club. Rumors were still rumors. Whether they're good or bad, people can make out a little piece of gossip from just a harmless rumor. Apparently, people are talented in these manipulative talents.

"Ah, there you are (Y/N)! Where do you think you're going? You still have to memorize these lines!" lectured the teacher, showing her numerous papers piled up on the main ones that they were pointing out. Cold sweat dripped from her forehead yet despite wanting to watch soccer practice, she sighed in dismissal of the thought and just grabbed the piles of papers from them.

she dragged herself as if heavy cement blocks were cuffed to each of her ankles to her seat. She settled her papers by the side and stared helplessly at that one paper full of an almost unreadable parts of her character.

"Here we go again," she rolled her eyes and dropped her body on the table, groaning in frustration as she tried to rethink her life decision of actually participating in the play. The memory wasn't vague even if it has been long.

"(Y/N)!" it was her middle school teacher who had called for her. She made her way to her teacher and had her big and brilliant (E/C) eyes looked up with anticipation.

"You seem promising to act, how about you join the play?" (Y/N) heart dropped and she felt her pathway was blocked with a stuffy feeling that caused her to have difficulties of breathing well.

"P-p-pl-pl-play...?" she asked once again, just to get something clear. Her teacher casted her a worry look.

"(Y/N), I know that you're shy but this play could help you get a confidence boost up like a rocket going up to the moon," out of habit, (Y/N) was unconsciously chewing her nails but the teacher stopped her from chewing any further.

(Y/N) whimpered and hugged the teacher tightly.

"B-but I-I don't wa-want t-to," she tried to beg, even going as far as to act as if she was about to cry with her big round eyes. The teacher was entranced in the beauty of the way she acted that for a second, they thought that she was absolutely somebody who's great for a role in the upcoming play. The way she was able to portray 'true-to-life' emotions even just within the depth of her teary eyes.

"I'll give you plus points if you join in and I'll tell your future teachers to give you additional conduct points if you're able to to get rid of your shyness," it was a charming offer. (Y/N) wasn't the best in her academics and she needed those extra points to get atleast an above average grade if not average.

She didn't join willingly but because of her kind and understanding teacher, she eventually joined. Her shyness didn't go away just that intant but little by little, she was able to get over her shyness in front of the crowd of audience during the official plays.

"Geez (Y/N) even if you're shy like no other I know, why are you so good at acting in front of a huge crowd!?" (Y/N) laughed softly and ruffled affectionately at her best friend's already messy hair. They were currently on their usual seats in the cafeteria, having their daily lunch chats.

"S-stop that...!" she tried to stifle her laughter. She could sense different pairs of eyes falling on them and it made her tried to hide her mouth more. Although she was nervous in front of a focus crowd in plays, she was more nervous when she was presented in a way that people would think she was ugly or something else.

"I-I'll stop now," she tried to muster a smile in a way to cover up her bashfulness but she somewhat failed at it.

"I rarely see you smile so brightly like that," it's as if she was hearing an imaginary voice reciting a line all too real and normal, she doubted if she was actually crazy.

"You look like you heard a ghost whispered in your ear too," She wore a stiff smile, now realizing it really sounded real,

and she was probably losing it.

"I'm not dreaming, am I, (B/F/N)? That the Gouenji Shuuya is behind me, looking like one of those male protagonist who's trying to talk to the lame female protagonist?" (Y/N) blurted out with her fingers crossed, hoping what she was saying isn't true. It was now her best friend's turn to burst into fits of laughter.

Who wouldn't laugh?

"Well, your wish came true, because Gouenji-san is right there!" said (B/F/N) in between extreme laughter as they held unto their stomach, trying to control the aching pain of laughing too much.

"Go-Gouenji-s-san...!"

"Hmmm, that's almost like the way you said your part earlier," he chuckled causing the girl to just be more in heated shyness.

She was rendered speechless because she didn't imagine Gouenji to approach her after all these months of just watching him train. There were a few interactions but that was because it was necessary of them to do so; They were always in the same play that had to do with cooperating each other the most than any other pairs of characters.

Sometimes, it was even hard to cooperate with Gouenji because she was the shyest when it comes to talking to him.

"This is Gouenji Shuuya," the introduced boy nodded with hands deep in his pants' pockets.

"M-My n-name's (L/N) (Y/N)..." she squirmed on her position, her hands sweating in nervousness. (Y/N) was still new to acting and even just new people can make her shy away. She didn't dare to look straight at his onyx sharp eyes, fearing that she'll mess up once she did so. She reached up to her locks of hair and began to play with it, not even expecting an answer from the boy. Her eyes trailed over to his pair of feet, coming closer to her that caused her to jolt in surprise once a warm and small hand was placed over her shoulder.

"Too shy, huh?" he spoke and she chuckled in nervousness.

"Y-yes a-apparently," she finally decided to raise her eyes, now mustering her courage to stare back.

"Well, that's better," he smiled before he excused himself to leave.

"Yes, yes, Gouenji-kun is right, that's better!" they rephrased whatever the retreating boy had just said.

Despite having the guts to stare back at the boy, (Y/N) was still shy around him.

"Can I take (L/N) for just a moment?" even with no emotions shown, her best friend knew thst there was some kind of hidden feeling that Gouenji was hiding so they just nodded, just trusting the boy in wherever he was going to take her to.

'Wow, they just let me go,' thought (Y/N) with a betrayed and vengeful grin at her best friend who just mouthed a half-hearted apology and gave a cheeky smile back.

"I know that you still have the scar by your lower leg," he suddenly voice out without even glancing at (Y/N).

"E-eh...!? H-How did you kn-know!?" she brushed her left foot on the scar that was hidden well by her long white socks as if she was just doing some stretching after walking a few distance away from the school cafeteria.

"Of course, I remembered helping you taking care of it so it won't be too obvious because I was the one who have you that scar," he sighed before looking back at her.

"I-it was you...-"

"It wasn't on purpose of course...the ball I kicked got out of control so it pushed you towards the fences," he bowed down so deeply, (Y/N)'s face exploded to different shades of exotic red.

"n-no-n-no! I-it's fine! P-p-please s-stop b-b-bowing...!" she managed to squeeze out words of pleads, trying to carry Gouenji upper body to stop tilting down. Students weren't around to witness but (Y/N) knew sooner or alter, atleast a student or two would see the two of them.

Then rumors will spread, she'll get bully by his fans, boys and girls alike. She'll be miserable for-

"(L/N), are you spacing out?"

"O-o-of course no-not!" she stood up straight, in an unusually swiftly manner.

"No wonder the character you rehearsed earlier was almost too real, because you're like her," he commented with a smile on his face. (Y/N) pouted and became more shy. Not only was he praising her, she was somewhat touched at the comment even though it didn't sound like a compliment.

"Th-th-that's be-because it's hard t-to get over it..." she frowned and began to play with strands of her hair that laid on top of her shoulders.

"You'll get over it somehow," he placed a hand over her head gingerly. (Y/N)'s mind was blown away. Such a simple act of encouragement from him could cause her heart and mind to go insane.

"Th-thank you."

A/N:
Such a long hiatus (。•́︿•̀。), I'm so sorry for that, along with the wrong arrangements of posting ( ≧Д≦). It's because I already have a solid idea for this one and for the rest, sadly, I'm still contemplating. I'll try to work on them though.
