Have fun using the Atbash Cipher to decode that.
Now, to the story:

"What?" Mabel asked. "Why would I call you Alcor? What does that even mean, bro-bro?"

"It's my name, Mabel." The demon explained.

"No! Your name is Dipper!" She protested.

"That was before."

"Before what?"

"Before any of this."

"Dipper, I--"

"Don't, Shooting Star." He said. "Please don't. Just call me that, okay?"

"Okay," Mabel said sadly. "Sure."

She didn't tell him, but she wanted to call him Dipper not because it was his name, but because it made him seem like her brother still. Without it, he felt like someone else. She wanted her brother, not a random stranger.

"Do you promise?" Dipper asked.

"No. You know I can't."

"Okay. I get it."

An awkward silence fell over them. Mabel took the moment to actually look at Dipper's new self.

He had on a black suit, black pants. The cuffs and his golden tied shoes were the same color as his black and gold eyes. Whenever he spoke, you could see the edges of sharp teeth. His ears were pointed too.

Then his wings. They were on his lower back, and didn't actually look that impressive. When Bill had been in control, the wings had seemed much bigger, and threatening.

"Hey, Mabel, do you want to get something to eat?" Dipper asked.

"Sure Dipper." She looked away quickly. "Um, Alcor, I meant."

Mabel stood up and opened the door. Dipper stayed sitting down. She cast him a quizzical look

"You coming or not, buttwings?"

"What?!" He said. "They aren't-!"

"Sure thing, bro-bro!" Mabel interjected. "Now come on!"

"I'll be there in a moment, Mabel."

"Oh, okay." Mabel said. "I'll, see you soon then! Bye!"

She turned and ran down the stairs, bounding down the steps. Soon she was in the kitchen, where the smell of food hit her nose.

"Oh, Mabel." Ford said. "The grilled cheese are almost finished, if you want to sit down."

She took the seat across from Stan, so Dipper could sit by her when he got downstairs.

"Hey kiddo." Stan greeted. "Where's Dipper, I heard you two talking."

"He's doing better." She said. "But, um, he wants to be called Alcor, not Dipper."

"Why?" Ford asked.

"He didn't explain."

"Maybe the kid is sensitive to his old name. You know, an emotional thing." Stan said. Mabel and Ford stared at him in surprise. He was probably right.

"He shouldn't get too mad about that. Just don't..." Ford paused. "Look, as long as no one calls him Pine Tree or something, I'm sure he'll be fine."

"We have to see what happens!" Mabel said.

"No." Ford said. "Trust me."

"It won't be that bad, common!"

"Kid, I don't think that's a good--"

Stan was cut off as the sandwich maker beeped. Ford went to get the grilled cheese, and their conversation promptly ended. Ford placed a grilled cheese in front of Mabel, got one for himself and sat down.

"What?" Stan protested. "You didn't get me one?"

"It's sitting over there, go get it." Ford said,

Stan muttered something as he stood up and grabbed the sandwich before sitting himself back down,
With a 'swoosh' Dipper materialized beside Mabel, sniffing at the air.

"Is that a grilled cheese?" He asked them hopefully, eyeing the food.

"Sure is, dipping sauce!"

"Can I have one?"

"Yeah!" Mabel said. She stood up and quickly grabbed the last on from the counter. Then, pushed it across the table to him before she seated herself next to him. He went to pick it up, but his hands moved through it.

"This might be difficult without a physical form." He conceded.

"I thought you had one?" Stan asked.

"No," Ford explained, "He's here, but not physically."

"But I can hug him and stuff." Mabel said, proving her point by poking Dipper in the side.

"You know I can't feel that, right Mabel?" Dipper asked.

"You can't?" She said. "But earlier...

"Look, it's...complicated. When we had first made the deal, there was enough energy to do the basics. But over time it fades away." Dipper explained.

"We have to make another deal, don't we?" Ford asked.

"Would making that one deal with Bill count right now?" Mabel asked. "I mean, Ford did promise."

"I don't think so." Dipper said.

"Why don't we try?" She asked.

"Look Shooting Star, unless you want to talk to Bill again..." Dipper said.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Stan said. "Not after what happened."

"But it worth a shot, right?" Mabel said.

Dipper opened all three eyes. Then, in that weird layered voice of both Bill and him, said: "It probably wouldn't work anyways, Shooting Star."

"Dipper?" Ford asked.

"What is it, Six Fingers?" Dipper and Bill said.

"What are you doing?" Stan asked.

"Sharing is caring, Fez."

"What does that even mean?" Ford said, looking at his worst enemy and family member.

"He has to make sure I don't feel left out." They said.

"Wait." Mabel asked. "Who's talking?"

"I am, Shooting Star. Mabel."

"Um?"

"Okay!" Stan said. "Let's just forget that that ever happened and--"

"Whatever, Fez." They said. Dipper closed his third eye.

For what could have easily been a full minute, no one said a thing. They had all found the experience weird. Except for Dipper, who was lazily floating the same level as the table.

"So... We have to make a deal with you then, right?" Stan asked.

"If me eating this sandwich is really that important to you, it has to be a pretty big deal." Dipper said.

"What about the journals?" Mabel suggested. "You can get them for us as part of the deal."

"Look, as much as I'd love to, I can't. Bill hid them and I'm not risking it to go and get them."

"What if we gave you something really worthwhile?" Ford said.

"What could you give a demon that's so valuable they would risk their life for you?" Dipper said.

"What do you want, Dipper?" Mabel asked.

Dipper scowled when she called him Dipper, but shrugged. "You could always open the portal to the nightmare realm again."

"Why? So Weirdmageddon can tear apart our world?" Ford asked.

"It wouldn't be the whole world, Six Fingers." Dipper said. "Just Gravity Falls is all. I think you know that."

"But there are people who live here!" Mabel cried, outraged.

"They can find somewhere else."

"It's not that simple, kid." Stan said. "You can't just drive people away and tell them to live somewhere else!"

"I'm sorry, Fez." Alcor said. "But I think I just did."

"You can't do that!" Ford said.

"Who's stopping me?"

"Dipper, there has to be another way!" Mabel said.

The dream demon frowned. "Look, you find a way to open that rift back up, and I can get the journals along with a few things you might want along the way."

"How is that fair?" Mabel asked

"Anything you want." The demon smiled a toothy grin.

"And the journals, right?" Ford asked. "Will you close the portal after?"

"Of course, Six Fingers!"

Stan sighed. "Just get this over with!"

Dipper held out a hand, with a 'fwoosh' the blue fires beloved it. He smiled down at Ford with three eyes.

"Well, Six Fingers?" Both demons said. "What do you say?"

"Ugh." Ford mumbled. "Fine, deal."

Dipper practically snatched his hand and shook it even as his third eye closed. Ford frowned.

"You'd better not do anything."

"Wouldn't dream of it, Six Fingers!" Dipper said. "Now, any moment that deal should be in effect and-"
Suddenly, he crashed to the ground. Mabel looked at him curiously. He'd hit hit head on the table on the way down. The sudden change in his power must have effected his levitation. He started to laugh. Ford leaned over the table and looked at him.

"Dipper, are you okay?" He asked.

"Wow, did you see that?" The demon giggled. "That was hilarious."

They all felt frozen in an instant. Ford frowned even deeper. "What was funny?"

"I can feel. I forgot how funny pain was! It's hilarious!" Dipper said.

Yeah, that was going to be an issue. Mabel didn't want her brother acting too much like Bill. It would be weird, and uncomfortable.

"Uh, kiddo?" Stan asked. "Are you okay or should we be concerned?"

Dipper stood up and dusted himself off. Summoning a little, black and gold ended cane, Dipper spun it once around his fingers and walked out the door.

"Now are we getting those journals back or what?"

Still concerned about him, the rust of the Pines family stood up and followed him. Everyone had forgotten about the one, cold grilled cheese sandwich that was still sitting on the table.

Seriously, someone decipher the message above. It goes with how the story will continue. I want to see how smart you all are. Are you real Gravity Falls fans or not?
