Song: Take a Walk by Passion Pit
Hey Fallers! So, I was still taking a break from this story, but I decided to write something. Mainly because I might have fallen into the evil YouTubers fandom and if I don't finish this story I'll end up writing for the other fandom and I'll end up never finishing this one.
So yeah. Last we left off, Mabel died.
And guess what I'm gonna say to that? Trolololololololololololololololololololololololololololol!!!!!!

You're so gullible! >:)
So, learn the truth:
When Mabel blinked her eyes open, she noticed how white everything was. Everything seemed clean, and even the air seemed perfect. The second thing she noticed was the blurry form sitting on her left.
She moved, trying to get a better view of the stranger. Why was everything so fuzzy and out of focus? They person felt her move and shot up, putting a hand on her for head as if checking for a temperature.
"Mabel?" He asked. The voice sounded familiar. "Are you okay, kid?"
"Who, who are you?" She said, wincing at the sound of her own scratchy throat. "And where are we?"
"We're in the hospital, kiddo. And what do you mean you don't know me?" A bit of worry etched it's way into his voice.
"You're too blurry. So is everything else."
"It probably just from the blood loss."
Blood loss? Mabel had no idea why she would have that. Had something happened while she was asleep, was that why she was in the hospital?
"Grunkle Stan?" Mabel asked.
"Yeah, kiddo." He said, Mabel could pick out his smile face. "Yeah, it's me. You had me worried. After Dipper brought you back and--"
"Dipper?" She asked. How would her brother have done anything, he had been gone for over a year.
"What do you mean, Dipper? You know, your brother." Stan said. "You managed to summon him somehow, and then he took you somewhere before Ford could stop him."
"I don't remember any of that."
"Do you remember how you summoned him?"
"I didn't even know that we could!" Mabel said, then she paused. "How long have I been here?"
Stan sighed. "You were out for about a week, kiddo. You really scared us for a while."
"How?" Mabel asked. "You knew I'd be fine... Right? Grunkle Stan, what happened?"
"Your heart stopped beating for a while." He said shakily. "You died for a few minutes. Your brain was messed up, they said that after they saved you, you might never be the same." He put his head in his hands. "When you woke up and didn't remember anything, I was scared that they were right."
"But I'm okay now, right?" She asked.
"Yeah. I think." Stan said. "The doctors haven't really said much, and your still low on blood, but you okay."
She smiled at him as he gave her a light hug. "Your okay now."
"So, Grunkle Stan," Mabel asked, "Where's Ford?"
"He's trying to figure something out."
"What's he figuring out?"
"There was some fire a few states over or something. He thought it seemed strange, so he's looking into it." Stan said. "The way he says it, he thinks that Dipper did it."
"Was it Dipper?" Mabel said.
"I don't know, kid, I honestly don't." Stan said, leaning back. "I know he may not be himself anymore, but I don't think that he would do that. Probably just some other demon or something."
"Wait, how would another demon have been able to do that?" Mabel asked. "Aren't that all still trapped wherever they are? Is someone summoning them?"
Stan froze, like he was thinking about what to say. For a while, Mabel was sure that he must be keeping secrets, but she waved it off. Of course Stan wouldn't know what to say, it was probably hard to explain.
"I don't know." He said, his voice sounded a little strange. "Maybe Ford can explained it."
"Oh. Okay. When will he be visiting?"
"I don't think that he will be." Stan said. "He's really worried about all this stuff that's been happening."
"I thought it was just the fire?"
"Well, that's the main problem." Stan said, scratching the back of his neck. "But other weird things have been popping up too."
"Is it dangerous then?" Mabel asked, wincing as she tried to sit up. "I mean, where's all this stuff happening?"
"That's the thing, Mabel." Stan said. "It's been happening everywhere."
"What?"
"Ford tried to explain it. Apparently, there used to be something that kept almost everything contained in Gravity Falls," he said, "but it's not working anymore or something, and all these things have been showing up everywhere."
"So, it could have been something other than Dipper?" Mabel said hopefully.
"I don't know."
Mabel slumped back down. "I still miss him. I hope that Dipper is okay."
"I'm sure he's fine kid, trust me." Stan said. "And if you could remember what happened and where he took you, I'm sure you wouldn't want to see him again."
"What do you mean?" Mabel asked. "What happened?"
Stan stood up and walked over to the window, opening the blinds over them to let a little light in. Mabel watched, waiting for him to say something.
"Mabel, he brought you back covered in blood that wasn't just yours. And there was a knife, a knife, in your stomach." He said angrily.
"What?" Mabel said. "Why would--"
"That's not all." He interrupted. "They thought the knife looked strange, so they took it into inspection. Turns out all those strange symbols belonged to some cult or whatever!"
"But why would Dipper--"
"I don't know!" Stan said suddenly. "Look, Mabel, okay? Stop asking questions. I don't know, don't you understand? Not even Ford knows what happened."
"But there has to be a reason, right?" Mabel said. "Maybe there was reason he did it and something just didn't work."
"I'm sure Bill had a reason for everything too, Mabel." Stan muttered. "But did that end up good for him either?"
"I guess your right." She said quietly.
After a few moments of silence, Stan finally moved from his spot by the window. He drew a hand over his face tiredly. Mabel didn't know why, but he looked older. Or maybe he had always looked like that, she didn't know.
"It's lunchtime, I should go." Stan said. "I'll see you later. And if anything weird happens, call someone in, okay?"
"Yeah. Yeah, I know." Mabel said slowly. "I'll see you soon."
"Hey, if you get lucky, they might let you come home within the week, okay?"
"Okay. Bye."
"Bye, kiddo." Stan said, patting her on the head as he walked past. "See ya soon."
She waved to him as he walked out of the room, gently closing the door behind him. Afterwords, there was only silence, other than the annoying beeping of the machine that measured her heartbeat.
Her vision had cleared up a little better, and she could finally make out the room around her. It was a typical hospital room, she was only one in there.
Mabel really hoped that she would get to go home soon, she didn't think that she could make it very long, bedridden in a small white room with a few beeping machines. It was going to get lonely.
So, she let her mind wander off to what had happened.
According to Stan, she had been stabbed at some point. However, she couldn't remember any of it. Sure, there were a few fuzzy pictures of pain here and there, but she was sure that was from after Ford and Stan had gotten her back.
There was absolutely no memory of meeting, or summoning, her brother at all. It was like none of it had ever happened.
Sighing, she let herself slip further under the sheets. She was tired, it couldn't hurt to get a little bit of sleep in before Stan came back.
She was sure she could hear a familiar voice saying, "I'm so sorry, Mabel." Before she fell asleep.
"I didn't mean to do this."
So, that was the rather short update that wasn't even planned!
The next chapter could be farther away... I literally have no idea.
But, if you want something to occupy your time, you can go read some of my other stories...
(Geez, stop self advertising, Aza.)
(No.)
I have an art book, a Gravity Falls and a normal ramblings book, a few other stories...
Go read them, ja.
But really, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Remember to comment something random, leave a vote, and stay weird!
BYYYEEE!
