Anyhows, this chapter should be fun!
(I actually have no idea what the chapter will be about I always write these ANs before I even start to write the chapter.)

•••(((If you actually read these ANs before each chapter I want you to comment "ShEeP!" In some random place.)))•••

For those that are not familiar with Alcor's summoning circle, to help you visual it I will provide a picture right here:

Obviously, the current one used in this story is different...
For reasons.
That will change.

So, do enjoy reading, you little sheep, and sorry for the lengthy AN and kinda short chapter:

Mabel should have practiced drawing the circle. In retrospect, simply running into the woods and trying to spray paint it onto the damp grass wasn't a good idea. The circle was all lopsided and the symbols looked strange.

Never less, Mabel lit the eight candles and waited. And waited. Maybe Dipper was late.

      Nothing.

Sighing, she bent down and blew out the candles in a puff of air. Their thin trails of smoke dissipated through the air.

She rubbed the misshapen summoning circle away. Because the grass had been coated in dew, it only left a few streaks of gold in the grass.

Picking up the candles, she trudged back to the Mystery Shack. Mabel didn't want to put the candles back, it sounded like Stan was in the  kitchen and she didn't want to alert them to what she was doing.

Plus, it couldn't hurt to try a few more times in the attic as well. Maybe the circle would be easier to paint.

So, she held onto everything and ran up the stairs as quietly as possible. She shut the door behind her, unloading everything she was carrying.

Once again, she knelt down and began to spray the circle, in an extremely meticulous way, on the floorboard. This time, it was near perfect.

Finally, once she had once again finished, she placed and lit the eight candles.

Again, nothing. What was she doing wrong? The circle was the same, modified one that Dipper had shown before jumping back to the Nightmare Realm.

Sighing, she rummaged around for a chocolate bar somewhere around the room. Finding one, she unwrapped it and sat down once again next to the summoning circle.

And there she sat, in deep thought, for a few minutes. The chocolate had started to melt in her hand. Sighing, she sat the chocolate bar on the ground and moved to wipe her hands off.

A cold gust of air blew through the room. A heavy, cold light seemed to settle as everything else turned dark.

Spinning around, Mabel saw what she had done. She had placed the chocolate bar in the summoning circle. How could she have forgotten? For the summoning to work, you were supposed to give a sacrifice.

Observing the circle, she was that the fires lighting the candles had turned blue, and the lines of the summoning circle were turning gold. Altogether, the thing was emitting a strange light over the room.

A slightly familiar billow of smoke lifted up from Dipper's new symbol, starting to form a shape.

Two bright hold eyes opened, a slight trace of a third one disappearing. A wide grin, formed of sharp teeth, glinted from within the darkness. Wings swept up.

"Who dares summon Alcor the--Wait, Mizar?"

Mabel almost laughed. For such a creepy entrance, Dipper had lost it all in shock. Even though she couldn't see his expression, just imagining it made a huge, goofy grin split across her face.

"Hey, Bro-bro!" She chimed out.

"What are you doing?!" Dipper asked, the smoke around him starting to dissipate. He folded his wings up behind himself.

"I'm summoning you, duh!"

"Where did you find this circle? And I told you to stay away!"

"I thought you wanted me to find you," Mabel said, holding up the necklace, "you left this. I figured out it was your new symbol or whatever and..."

Mabel trailed off at the glare she was getting from her brother.

"Mizar!" He said. "I left for a reason! You could get hurt! What if you had messed the circle up or something!"

"Aww," Mabel said, "are you worried about me, Dipper?"

"One, it's Alcor, not Dipper. And two, you shouldn't be messing with these kinds of things!" The demon said, crossing his arms.

The excitement of getting her brother back was starting to wear off. She had thought that he would have been glad to be back, thought that that was why he had given her that necklace.

Obviously, Mabel had been wrong.

"I just wanted to see you again!" She said. "It's been more than a year. I still miss you."

Suddenly angry at him, she stepped inside the circle and pressed a finger up against his chest. "Do you even know what I went through?!"

"Of course I do." Alcor retorted. "I know everything now, Mabel."

"What do you mean?" Mabel asked, anger gone, replaced with concern.

"I'm omniscient now, Mabel! I know all! I can do whatever! Not even the most powerful cults can stop me! If I wanted, this world could be mine!"

Mabel drew back out of the circle, fear in her eyes as her brother's eyes were overtaken in gold and left trails in the air. His teeth looked sharper.

Picking up on her distress, the Deimos seemed to sink back into himself. "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry, Mizar, I didn't mean it!"

Mabel didn't say anything, but she didn't feel like she needed to anyways. If Dipper was like that, he would know what she was thinking.

"It's just," Alcor began slowly," It's just, even after I've been like this for so long, I still can't--I can't." He put his head in hands. "Sometimes and I still don't understand why I'm like this."

Mabel frowned. "Dipper, how long have you been like this?"

"Ha." The demon scoffed. "I don't even bother to count, Mabel. It would be a waste."

"Well, what have you been doing?" Mabel asked, desperately trying to strike up a friendly conversation.

"Dealing with these stupid cults that figured out my summoning circle. Other than that... Maybe someday I might be able to explain."

"Dealing with cults?" Mabel scoffed. "Bro-bro, they couldn't have found out about it! Only Gravity Falls, and mom and dad back home know anything about what's happened!"

Alcor stared at her.

Mabel stared back, raising an eyebrow. "Um, what?"

"Oh no." He said. "No one told you? Please tell me that they told you."

Mabel felt herself getting nervous. Her heartbeat felt heavy, and she was almost positive that it was getting colder.

"What is it? What happened? Come on, Bro-bro, I can take it!"

"Mabel, mom and dad didn't actually send you here because they didn't want to be around you. They sent you here because of what happened."

"And that would be?"

"Mabel, you know what the 'Transcendence' is, right? It's a little different from what you probably know... But it's the same idea." Alcor said.

Mabel raised an eyebrow, then nodded. "Yeah, I think I know what you mean."

"Do you not watch the news?"

"Why would I do that? That's why we have Grunkle Stan!" Mabel said, rolling her eyes.

"It happened, Mabel." Alcor said. "That's what they're calling it, the Transcendence. Bill did something before he died, and now Demons and other supernatural things have been popping up everywhere."

Mabel was frozen. Oh no. That was why her parents had gotten her out of the house. It was dangerous there. Suddenly, she remembered the one time that Stan had freaked out and shut off the TV before she had seen it.

The newscast had been something about Piedmont, back where their parents were.

"Dipper! Are mom and dad... The news, one time and..." She trailed off.

"I'm sorry Mabel." Alcor said. "There was an accident. A cult or something. They summoned a demon, a really powerful... And they lost control of the situation."

"But what about out parents?"

"They... They died Mabel."

"No... Dipper... Please don't say that. Please don't."

"Mabel, they're dead. I saw it." Alcor said. "They didn't make it. No one did. I'm so sorry."

Mabel curled up on the ground in front of her brother's circle. She felt herself trying not to cry.

A hand touched her shoulder. Then, without any difficulties moving through barriers of the summoning circle, her brother knelt down and hugged her.

Which, of course, was when the door opened.

"Mabel, there's a signal of something weird close to--Hey! Get away from her!" Ford said, pushing Alcor away from Mabel.

"Ford?" The demon said. "It's... It's and I..."

"I know who you are." Ford snapped. "I think I would recognize the stupid demon that destroyed Piedmont and Ruined Mabel's life! Get lost, Alcor!"

"Wait... I didn't want to tell Mabel... Not yet... I--" Suddenly, Alcor cut off and his eyes became slightly unfocused. He started to fade a little.

"Wait! Dipper! Stop!" Mabel cried out, lunging for her brother as he disappeared.

There was a bright flash, then everything was dark. Mabel managed to crack open her eyes.

Her brother was floating next to her protectively, looking more demonic than usual. They were indie a circle with strange markings and symbols around it.

Mabel froze when she noticed the people in the dark robes with hidden faces that surrounded the perimeter.

At the edge of the circle lay the sacrifice. Mabel felt her stomach twist. It was a dead girl with a knife sticking out of her chest.

I never read through this to check for errors so how did I do?

So, Alcor is back.
Yay.

And he got summoned by an evil cult and accidentally dragged Mabel with him.
Great.

Hmm.
I feel like this chapter is a bit rushed.
Eh, I wasn't really feeling it.
The next chapters should be a lot better, though.

So, until then!
