Song: Don't Mess With Me
(That song is awesome, okay?)
I fixed the problem with the spacing. What had happened was is was spaced correctly on my phone, but it wasn't publishing correctly. Tell me if you like it better like this.
••••••I also fixed the spacing on the other chapters. So, if you want to go bad on comment on like, certain stuff you can actually do that now.•••••
Is Dipper's name Alcor? Is he acting like Bill? Where is Bill? Why does Dipper/Alcor/Bill want the portal to the Nightmare Realm opened?
WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?!
And who is on which side?
Let's see heeheehee:
They followed Dipper behind the vending machine and down the stairs. There, they found him standing in front of the disassembled portal.
"Dipper?" Mabel asked.
"Yeah, Mabel?"
"How are we supposed to open the portal if it's, ya know, broken?"
Dipper turned around. "Don't worry, Shooting Star, Six Fingers can easily fix it!"
"I need the journals to fix it." Ford said.
"Now, Stanford." The demon chided. "We both know that that's a lie. Tell the truth. You made a copy of the instructions and hid them under a floorboard. Not the most creative idea."
"How did you know?" Ford asked, his face white.
"Oh, I know lots of things."
"Sure you do, dipping sauce." Mabel said, in an effort to distract everyone from what he had said. It didn't work.
"I'll still need help." Ford said. "To put it back together."
"I've taken care of that." Dipper said. "Just tell me what goes where and it won't take very long."
Ford frowned. Mabel had a feeling that her Grunkle had been stalling for time. She didn't blame him. Dipper had been acting weird.
"I'll go get the blueprints." Ford said, turning and leaving.
Mabel took the few minutes she had to walk up to Dipper. He looked at her with black and gold eyes. She could imagine the third, gold one and Bill watching.
"Does Bill watch when he's not talking?" She said, not able to help it.
"He's omniscient, Mabel. He doesn't have to watch to know."
"What about you? Are you like him?"
"I'm partly omniscient. Why?" Dipper asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Do you know what's going to happen?"
"Some of it." He said. "Not everything. And there's a lot to see, Mabel, time can be altered."
"Is there a world where this didn't happen to you?"
"There are a lot of dimensions like that, Mabel."
"Did you ever visit any?" Mabel said.
"I did. Once." He looked away. "It didn't go well. So I stopped."
"So, what? You just, watched?"
"Yes."
Mabel didn't understand how he could do something like that. Watch a timeline and not do anything. Especially if something ever happened and they needed help. How could one just stand by?
"I saw some dimensions like this one... In most of them..."
"What happened?" She asked, suddenly even more worried about her brother.
"You always died."
"Well, yeah."
"Sometimes I did it." He said. "Not a lot. But every now and then, in some of the realities... What if this one is like those?"
"Do you want it to be?"
"No! Mabel! Why would I want that?"
"Then it won't happen, Dipper."
He smiled at her. She smiled back and offered a small, quick hug just as Ford entered the room again.
Mabel had completely forgotten that Stan had been standing awkwardly by the doorway.
"Okay," Ford began, "I have the instructions. We can start to put the portal together now."
He pulled out the one journal they had left, along with a few, large sheets of paper. Walking over to a table by the wall, he sat them down. Stan walked over and observed the instructions over his brothers shoulder.
"This doesn't even make any sense" Stan said. "How are we supposed to follow this nonsense?"
"It is not nonsense, Stanley!" Ford said.
"Then what is it?"
"Obviously, something you don't understand!"
"How can we help?" Mabel asked, glad to stop the small argument.
Ford sighed. He picked up the first journal and handed it to Mabel. He cast a look to Dipper.
"Keep the journal safe, okay?" Ford asked. Mabel nodded. "Now, that also means you can't give it to Dipper."
"Hey!" The dream demon protested.
"Why can't I give it to Dipper?" Mabel said.
"We don't know what he or Bill could do with it." Ford said.
"Honestly," Dipper said, "if I got the journal, all I have to do it is touch it and then 'boom!'"
"Boom?" Mabel asked.
"I mean I would know everything in there." Dipper replied.
"I thought you were..." Mabel said. "Umm, omniscient, right?"
"Partly omniscient." Ford corrected.
"Oh." Mabel said. "But how is it bad if he gets it?"
"Mabel, c'mon." Dipper said. "It's the same reason you couldn't let Bill have the journals."
"Which is?" Mabel asked.
"I have no idea," Ford said. "Bill always wanted them so badly, either to destroy them or use them. I knew it couldn't be good."
"So you just assumed that is was bad?" Stan asked.
"Oh, he was right." Dipper said.
"Then why did Bill want them?" Mabel said.
"Spoilers, Shooting Star!"
The demon turned to the table with the instructions. He looked over the plans for a few seconds, eyebrows drawn together. Dipper ran a finger across some of the sketches there, muttering under his breath as he read the writing.
"How do you read this?" He asked.
"It's easy, you just--" Ford started, before Dipper cut him off.
"No, no. I didn't ask you to explain it, Sixer." Dipper said. "I was just making a generic statement."
Ford frowned. 'Sixer' was what Bill had always called him. He didn't really like that name too much. In fact, he didn't like and nicknames for himself.
"So," Stan said, sensing the awkwardness, "Are we gonna open this portal or not?"
"Yeah! Let's get this thing together!" Mabel shouted.
"Okay, well--" Ford started to say.
"Agh!" Dipper protested. "You're taking too long to figure this out!"
"Dipper, take a chill pill," Mabel said, "we literally just started!"
"I refuse to wait!" Dipper said.
He reached out and took the journal from Mabel. Flipping it open, he flipped through all the pages.
"Dipper!" Mabel said. "Dipper, no! You aren't supposed to--"
"Oh, relax, Shooting Star." Dipper said, waving a hand at her. "Everything has gone perfectly according to plan!"
"Plan?" Mabel asked.
Suddenly, Ford grabbed her and Stan's hands, pulling them towards the door quickly. Mabel blinked in confusion.
"Grunkle Ford?" She asked. "What... What's wrong?"
"This is why we couldn't give it to him!" Ford said. "He had the exact same plan, I should've known!"
"What? What plan?" Mabel said as Ford pulled them into the elevator. Behind them, she could hear Dipper laughing.
"Bill's plan!" Ford said.
"And what is that?" Stan asked.
"The end of the world." Ford replied.
"What does that mean?" Mabel asked as the elevator opened at the top.
Ford didn't say anything, he stared, frozen in shock. For a moment, Mabel looked at her Grunkle in confusion. Until she looked up at what he was looking at, and she suddenly understood.
It was Bill Cipher.
He was just floating before them, arms crossed across his triangular self.
"Sixer, Shooting Star, Fez," Bill said, "We have an issue."
Are you fangirling so much that you just rolled down the stairs?
Haha, of course you did.
So, did you like this last chapter here?
Are you confused?
Are you screaming at me right now?
Just kidding, I know you are. I can hear you. Sheesh, you guys are loud, take a chill pill. Those probably don't grow on trees here, but I'm sure you can find one somewhere.
So anyways.
Oh yeah! And I just posted a Weirdmaggedon One-Shot as well. It's called 'Change,' and you should totally go and read it.
It has a really dark theme.
And Bill is so evil.
And I hate myself so much for writing it. (I'm just kidding, I don't hate myself for writing something awesome.)
BYYYEEE!!!
