She wakes to twinkling music, a raw throat and a sharp pain in her leg, a parachute comes gliding down, landing on the ground directly outside the Cornucopia and it's more of a struggle than she would ever admit to draw herself up and crawl her way to the basic, small jar.

Taking it in hand, Terra remembers what it meant to receive a gift, tjat someone was rooting for her, wanting her to win, and that something she's done must have been worth it to earn a reward. She had never been quite so popular last time, not enough to earn a gift, but as she cracks open the metal and finds a small tube, barely anything, and cracks it open to show a red gloop. Working a small amount onto her hand, she sighs when the cut on her palm cool significantly, soothing the burn that she didn't notice before.

She made quick work of hastily pulling off her makeshift bandage and tugging at her pants, revealing a nasty looking cut from her spinning and thrashing in the water. She grimaced at it, nose turning up at it, she poured a decent amount onto the injury and began to smooth it out with pursed lips and a clenched jaw. The relief was instant against the raging throbbing that she felt before, but she knew it wasn't enough to heal it regardless of whatever medicine technology they had sent her.

Looking up at the sky, she saw it was beginning to grow light with the slow coming if dawn and decided that she had at least slept enough and decided that if she needed to get started on finding water and looking for the Careers. Her leg screamed against each step and she was forced to simply work through it as she swung the hammer at her side as she moved down the nearest spoke with until the end - mentally preparing herself for the sting of salt and the ache that swimming would give her already tired body. After flipping around pointlessly in the tsunami she was sure she was going to be aching for a while.

The beach was still relatively bear of signs of life aside from a few prints in the sand and speckles of blood. She scrunched her nose up at the sight, not wanting to imagine the scuffle that must have occured to closely to where she slept without having alerted her.

Her dive was sloppy but the cold water was like a shock to her system, and if she wasn't wide awake before she certainly was now. Terra took her time swimming to shore, opting to stay as low below the surface as she dared and only came up to breathe when she need to - taking the time to observe the land as best she could in case someome tried to sneak up on her. As safe as she could be, she shuffled her way back on to the sand cautiously, nervous after the experience from the last time, and dropped to her knee, digging through the bag pulling out the rope that had been sitting there uselessly until now.

Deft fingers made quick work of tying it up so it made a District 10 worthy lasso, something that she had learned to do since she was little and helping her parents prep for a day of work - a repetitive training of over and over and over and over until her small fingers would be stiff and nearly blistered. She smiled bitterly up at the sky and lifted the knot for show, demostrating her accomplishment to them, a reminder that she still remembered and would never be able to forget.

Motion started a littls further down the beach and Terra darted to the treeline with a startled gasp, laying her back against the nearest tree and peeking through the think folliage. She was tired, exhausted, but the sight of Wiress sitting in the water and washing her face made a burst of energy flare alive in her chest, more so as she heard Johanna's distinctively loud voice. Excited more than anything else, she left her hidding place and went to raise her hand in greeting when she heard the frightened shouts and saw the blood dripping down from Wiress' neck, Gloss standing behind her.

There was a shot of an arrow and more motion from the trees and Terra launched herself into action - lasso coming back into hand and spinning expertly at her side before she let it loose, a grin making its way onto her face as Cashmere's arms were forced to her side and tugged harshly, sending the older woman back onto the sand.

Using the startled, dazed expression as her chance, Terra twirled her hammer in a circle, flexing her arm, and with a cry forced the spikes down onto the blonde with enough force to dent her forehead. She swung again and again until there was hardly anything left and Terra was sagging with her weight pressed onto her weapon.

Her eyes darted about in an almost predatory fashion, searching for the other two that were sure to be lurking as she slowly worked her rope free from around the dead woman without looking. Brutus had his spear and Enobaria had her knives and both were deadly accurate with their aim.

"You're okay! You're okay, I thought. . ." someone calls and when she looks up she can't stop the cry of joy when she see Johanna standing there looking so relieved that it physically pains her.

Staggering to her feet, Terra jogs the small space between them, droping her hammer just before she reaches her and throws her arm happily around her friend. "Johanna!"

"Terra, oh thank God! I thought you died, we heard you scream and all those canons, we thought the worst," Johanna tells her, and in an odd display of comfort she nuzzles her face into her shoulder.

She shudders despite herself. "Almost, that jungle is fucking crazy."

Johanna laughs, a high, cheery sound and Terra smiles back, small and secret in a way that was only reserved for her friends.

"Come, you have to see Finnick. He won't admit it to anyone else but he was devastated when he thought you died," Johanna tells her, waiting for Terra to pick up her hammer as she leads her back towards the little camp they set up. "We were holding our breaths until tonight to see the names, but I think the others just assumed, ya know?"

Terra nods along, and when they come to an empty camp, she finds herself following after Johanna as she sprints off into the trees calling after the others, but it isn't until she hears her name being called, desperatepleadingbeggingpanic that she realizes it's Finnick that was yelling and it was her own voice screeching loudly in pain and fear that it made it ger blood turn cold.

His panic is clear to her and Terra is tearing through the trees faster than she thought herself possible, ignoring the way her body protested as she skid after Johanna with a startling swiftness and clear mind until she saw Peeta leaning against some kind of barrier, banging hopelessly as he called for Katniss as Beetee spoke something words in an attempt to calm the both down.

And seated with his head tucked between his knees, rocking as he tried to block out the noise was Finnick. Terra made her way as close as possible and dropped down, placing a hand to the barrier and banged with the other hoping to gain his attention. Birds fly in a whirlwind around them, swooping in and out of focus, and Terra cursed at the sound of her own muffled screams - noises that must have come from this game or her last and have been manipulated to gain this reaction.

"Finnick! Finnick, can you hear me?" She tried yelling over the birds. "Fin, I'm right here. I came, Finnick, please, look at me!"

He doesn't move and Terra snarls angrily at the Games, the barrier, the birds, and pushes to her feet with a groan, her injured leg wobbling beneath her weight. She raises her hammer and swings as hard she can, a loud but muffled boom scaring the birds away for only a brief moment before they fly back in. She repeats the action again and then two more times just because she can before her leg buckles and she drops back to with a gasp.

Johanna is there in an instant, fluttering about and asking what's wrong, but Terra ignores her in favour of digging into her bag of the medicine and slathers on a new coat wishing that it was the water that washed it away last time and that this one was destined to last.

She bangs with her fist against the glass again once its put away and rest her forehead against it. "Finnick, it's okay. I'm here. I love you, Finnick. Everything is all right."

Her words are repeated over and over as Peeta does the same for Katniss, reassuring them the best they could as Johanna and Beetee keep watch, the girl occasionally poking her shoulder to make sure she was fine.

It made Terra question what she must have looked like if her appearance was enough to cause questions, but she doubted she looked any worse than the others did. They had spent the night in the horrible jungle with it's trick when she had hidden away in the Cornucopia. Still, she felt rathed terribly and if their well-rested, non-hoarse voices had anything to do with it, she imagined they must have gotten something to drink or eat at one point.

A hand pressed to the barrier, Terra nearly fell forward when it disappeared and as soon as she had she was scrambling toward him, crawling across the ground. Johanna reached him first and with a tentative hand against his shoulder Finnick jerked away from her touch, staring up pale face with wide, haunted eyes and a bloody nose. Terra made a stranged sound at the back of her throat, a whimper of some sorts as her eyes burned with tears and she reached out, ignoring Johanna's assuring murmurs as her friend gestured towards her.

"Fin, sweatheart," Terra croaked.

His head snapped to face her, lips forming soundless words, and then he was scrambling to reach her, tripping over himself and into her reach and Terra fell back as she clung to him, sobbing as she felt his tears.

"Oh, love, my love, it's alright," she soothed in a low voice. "I'm right here, I'm fine."

"My heart, I thought you died," he gasped, holding her so tightly her already bruised ribs protested. "My heart, my heart, my heart, I heard you scream. Terra, I heard you scream and the canon, all those canons, and I heard you twice, my heart, my Terra."

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," she told him, lacing her fingers in his hair.

"Never again. You're not leaving me ever again, Terra, I swear it," he told her, shakily pulling away to look at her face and he leaned forward, pressing a kiss to ever part of her face he could reach.

"Finnick, stop, wait," Terra protests, pushing him so he was on the ground beside her instead as she lifted up. "Are you alright? Your nose? What else did you hear?"

His expression paled and he reached for her again, clinging to her in a way that made it easy to hear the thrum of her heartbeat. "You, and it was like when you screamed - horrifying, and Annie, calling for me scared, and -" he took a shuddery breath then - "you were hurt and in pain, I could hear it in your voice, like nothing I had ever heard before."

"It wasn't real, me and Annie are perfectly fine, Fin," Terra says and he nods. "Come on, lets get away from here, go back to your camp, okay?"

They both stood slowly and for the first time she got a good look at the others, all politely looking away, but turned back when they heard the shift of the hammer on the ground as she heaved it up and the limp in her step as she walked closer. From the corner of her eye she could see Finnick pinch his lips into a tight light, his arm already coming around to support her weight but Terra pushed it away and walked forward confidently, head raised.

"It's good to see you guys are alive," Terra says conversationally. "I was a little busy during the projection last night."
