Jungkook still stood his ground and didn't move an inch. When Taehyung lifted his head from Jimin's shoulder he saw Jungkook again and the guilt that had just subsided a bit came back full force.

Jimin immediately stood up and grabbed Jungkook again to take him out but this time, Jungkook resisted.

"Please let me talk to him. He needs me."

Jimin looked back at Taehyung who was looking away silently and then back at Jungkook.

"Yeah you are right. He needs you. He needs you to leave him alone."

Jimin tried to pull him again but Jungkook jerked his arm out of Jimin's grip and moved closer to Taehyung who didn't show any response.

"Tae? Baby, please look at me."

Jimin fisted his hands as he mentally started to count to ten after which he was going to beat Jungkook.

"Jungkook. I'm warning you."

Jungkook, however, paid no attention to him. He kept his focus on Taehyung as he spoke again.

"I forgive you. Even though you didn't do anything. I forgive you."

Taehyung looked at Jungkook with wide eyes as Jungkook stared back at him.

"You.. Forgive me?"

Jimin was about to grab the collar of Jungkook when he heard Taehyung and stopped midway.

Jungkook nodded his head at Taehyung and cupped his face once again to plant a kiss on his forehead.

"Please don't think about it anymore, baby. Hmm?"

Taehyung was still staring at him as if Jungkook was an alien and asked again.

"You forgive me?"

Jungkook nodded once again and smiled at him but it didn't last long as Taehyung's face dropped. Jungkook immediately pulled him in a hug and before Jimin could protest, Taehyung spoke up.

"Please come back. I miss you."

Jungkook knitted his eye brows as Taehyung talked on his shoulder wondering what he meant. He was yet to ask but Taehyung kept going.

"Come back to me, Kookie. I miss you so much. Please don't marry anyone else. Please. I can't stand to see you with someone other than me. I love you so much. I always did. Please come back. Please come back for real."

Jungkook pulled back immediately as he stared at Taehyung in disbelief.

"Tae, I'm here. I'm really here. Look."

Taehyung smiled at him but shook his head and held Jungkook's hands as he closed his eyes. Jungkook couldn't understand why was Taehyung saying that but Jimin didn't let him think for long as he answered his thoughts.

"He has been imagining you visiting him for quite some time now. Even now, he thinks you are not real. And I don't know how will that be cured."

Jungkook looked at Jimin as he spoke and looked back at Taehyung when he finished. Taehyung had been rubbing Jungkook's hand as he kept mumbling 'please come back'.

"What should I do?"

Jungkook and Jimin stared at Taehyung who seemed to be lost in his own world playing with Jungkook's hands.

They waited until Taehyung fell asleep before they left the room. Once out, Jungkook looked for the nurse who was in charge of Taehyung and since Jimin already knew her it didn't take long. When they found her, Jungkook asked.

"Do you have any idea how he can be, um, you know, back to his old self?"

The nurse pressed her lips as she thought about it for a while before responding carefully.

"I'm not sure but he seemed to be asking for forgiveness from Jungkook. I guess that could be the first step."

She suddenly stopped as she realized that they had yet to find the guy.

"Ah, but first you have to find this Jungkook person."

Jungkook rubbed his nape as he cleared his throat awkwardly.

"Um, yeah. That's me."

The nurse's eyes went wide for a moment but she recollected herself quickly as she also cleared her throat and spoke again.

"Yes well, you should clear up whatever caused the problem between you two and see how it goes."

Jimin and Jungkook nodded at her but before she left Jimin stopped her once again.

"Wait. What else are we supposed to do?"

The nurse smiled warmly at them as she saw their concerned looks.

"As I said, I'm not sure. I'm just taking a guess here because we are not sure what exactly led Taehyung-ssi to this state and neither did he tell us anything in particular. So it's hard to pin point what you could do. But if you see any change in him from now on, even if it's a small one, do take notice of that and tell me. Okay?"

Once again both guys nodded and the nurse left. Once she was gone, Jimin spoke up.

"There was one change today. Two, actually."

Jungkook looked at him with raised eye brows.

"And what were those?"

Jimin looked back as he answered.

"He got his forgiveness. And he asked for you to come back. If he doesn't ask you to forgive him tomorrow then that would mean there is a change, right?"

By the time Jimin ended it seemed more like a question than a statement but it was understandable. He just wanted Taehyung to get well.

Jungkook just hummed in response but didn't know what else to say. Jimin sat down on the chair outside the room and Jungkook followed. After a moment of silence, Jimin asked.

"Tell me, what exactly happened between you two?"

Jungkook fiddled with his thumbs as he thought about it but then sighed. Jimin had told him that he was Taehyung's hyung so he thought that he shouldn't hide the truth from him. It was neither the right situation nor the right thing to do.

"We met randomly. I mean I texted him first but I didn't know who's number it was. So yeah, that's how it started."

Jimin didn't show much reaction except for slight humming as he kept his back laid and his eyes closed. Jungkook continued anyway.

"We talked for a few days and then I asked to meet up with him. I had started to feel attracted towards him when we talked but when I saw him, I fell completely. He was so beautiful. I couldn't stop staring at him."

Jimin cleared his throat when he realized Jungkook was going off track and the other apologized immediately.

"What happened after that?"

Jungkook was about to say that they did some stuff but barely kept his mouth shut. That wasn't something he should tell. Especially not to Taehyung's hyung, unless he wanted to die.

"Well we, um, we had a good time hanging out and then we met up again after another month or so. It was going really well. But then there was an issue."

Jungkook paused as he searched for proper words because now he was about to talk about his wife and Jimin had clearly showed his feelings towards that fact.

Jimin turned towards Jungkook when the pause extended and asked.

"What was the issue?"

Jungkook took in a deep breath expecting a beating any time now, when he spoke up.

"My parents, they asked me about marriage and stuff. I didn't know what to say knowing that they were strictly against gays and all. I didn't tell anything to them but didn't answer their question either. So after a week or so of my silence they made a decision for me. I found it at the very last minute and I had no say in it."

Jimin's hands were fisted and shaking slightly when Jungkook took a peek at them. He gulped as he continued because he had already started it so better finish it as well since he would get beat up anyway.

"I told Taehyung about it and he, um, he was sad. But he asked me if we could.. If we could stay together even so. I.. I didn't have a heart to p-push him away.. So, I-I agreed."

Jimin couldn't hold it in any longer and so, he stood up and landed a punch on Jungkook's face but restrained himself from going further as he grit his teeth.

"I swear if Taehyung didn't need you right now, you would have been six feet underground in the next minute."

Jungkook sat back up silently since he expected that and waited for Jimin to calm down. He wondered if the other would even want to listen anymore. Jimin, however, did let it go for a while for Taehyung's sake and sat back down to hear the rest. He wasn't listening for fun but to find out what could have possibly caused Taehyung such a trauma and then look for a solution. He could always take care of Jungkook once Taehyung was alright.
