Jimin waited for a while after sending a text and kept walking around stretching his muscles slightly. After about ten minutes of silence, his phone buzzed and Jimin almost jumped. He had received a reply.

Before he could reply, Jimin thought about the lack of information he had regarding this 'Jungkook'. He didn't know anything so he couldn't tell if this random person was a right guess or not and that if he should disclose his actual intention of contact right from the get go or not. But one glance at Taehyung's form made him sigh in defeat. He had to try all the possible contacts he would come across with even if he didn't feel like it. He couldn't leave anyone out just because he didn't want to.

Do u by any chance know someone named Taehyung?

Jimin sat next to Taehyung on the bed and moved his fringe from the younger's face. He hoped with all his heart that he finds this guy soon, who left Taehyung in such a horrible condition and beat the crap out of him for doing that before handing him over to Taehyung. His phone buzzed again but this time it wasn't just once. Messages started pooling up one after the other without a break.

I lost contact with him a long time ago and now I can't find him

Jimin widened his eyes at the words as he held his phone up.

"What in the world-"

There was no reply even after his text was seen and Jimin's doubts about the guy increased. Jimin thought that he was obviously just playing around with him and that made Jimin very angry. He put his phone aside and closed his eyes to let the anger cool down. He picked up Taehyung's phone again to continue from where he left.

After a few minutes passed his phone buzzed again and Jimin carelessly checked it out but once he saw that the message was from the same id, he ignored it without even reading it. He didn't have time to play with someone when his best friend was half way there to be completely crazy. He kept his focus on Taehyung's phone when his own buzzed again. Once again the constant buzzing started and Jimin furiously glared at his phone before picking it up and checking the texts.

Jimin stared at the texts again trying to contemplate what the hell just happened to the guy. He was fine just a while ago and now he was threatening like a gangster.

This time again, there was a little pause but not long enough for Jimin to think anything about it.

Jimin thought for a moment before he replied.

Jimin bit his lip wondering if he should listen to him or not. He didn't want to let anyone make a joke out of his best friend but he didn't want to let go of any possibility just because of his personal doubts, either. But still, he played one last card to check if he could bring out something else from this person that could put him at ease.

Jimin felt a little cautious about it all but still hoped that it was really the guy he was looking for and not a fraud.

Jimin put his phone aside and covered his face in his hands as he sighed deeply. He slid his hands down after a while and rubbed his face before getting up and going out to call the nurse.

"I'll not be here tomorrow. Please take care of him for me. I'll be back as soon as possible."

The nurse nodded her head and after the reassurance Jimin returned to the Taehyung's side.
