Hallways: Jooshin High
It didn't take long before everyone found out what happened in Standard A. Yun-seok was in the infirmary with a concussion, a bloodied nose, and an almost poked-out eye. Everyone mumbled while Melanie walked down the hallway with Daniel and Woo-sik following. He-ra and Woo-jin watched from their sides.
"Poor Yun-seok, she was like a Demon." He-ra said as every student moved out her way.
"Ri-an is going to want to hear about this." Woo-jin tells her.
"Sure enough, the principal will hear of this. " He-ra says before walking away. Yun-seok was still the top military chief's third son.
Woo-jin hummed, still looking at Melanie. Her kiss was still on his mind before seeing Ms. Han across the hall staring at him. What surprised them both was he didn't come to her for their little makeout session in the hidden stairwell. He walked away, making her sad. It was about lunchtime when she was called to the principal office. She sat in the middle as Ms. Han and the headmistress sat across from her.
"You have attacked Yun-seok unprovoked." The headmistress says hearing the lies from Ms. Han and other students like Chan-min and his crew.
"I attack him." Melanie scoffs. Ms. Han looked down.
"Did you or did you not touch Yun-seok unprovoked?" The headmistress questioned.
"I did, but it was never unprovoked. Anything that I do is never unprovoked. You call yourselves protecting students while you look away when your top students harass the scholarship students. Yun-seok deserved what he got. So you can suspend me and expel me; I don't care. I'll be sure to tell my dad what's going on here. You think the Jooshin group is bad; you never saw my father." Melanie's voice is cold yet stern. Ms. Han could only stare at her as the headmistress thought over her words.
The headmistress really didn't need this trouble. She knew exactly who her father was. Looking for the first person for the program, Nathaniel Majors, an ex-marine and scholar, had his status awarded him billions and millions of dollars from his U.S. government. He was voiced in the U.S. embassy. He was a powerful man, not one they should cross.
"You will have two days of suspension. The teachers will put together a homework packet for you to do. Between those two days, you will only come to school for your extracurricular classes, which are after school hours. I'm trusting you can follow this, yes. I'm still thinking if I'll let you come to the resort in three days time." The headmistress said, making Melanie nod.
"I guess I'll see you after two days." Melanie stated before leaving the room. Daniel and Woo-sik waited for her.
"What did they say?" Woo-sik asked.
"I'm on two-day suspension." She replied.
"They didn't expel you." Daniel says following.
"No, my father is powerful. They wouldn't want that on their conscience." She smiled at them.
"Then we'll come visit you at home." Woo-sik suggested.
"I'd like that, plus after school those days is when I can step on campus." Melanie nodded.
Melanie walked away from them so she could get her packets of homework from the falcuty before being stopped by Ba-da and Ye-ji.
"You must think you're real tough." Ba-da sneers.
"How is he?" Melanie asked, noticing it was the girl that liked him.
"He's hurt because of you." She retorts.
"I'm sure it's a very well taught lesson. Be sure not to follow in his footsteps." Melanie started walking again.
"Ri-an will hear of this!" Ye-ji yelled.
"I hope so; see you in two days!" Melanie shouted with a happy yell, ending with a smile on her face. She walked into the faculty room only to see Woo-jin sitting on Ms. Han's desk. Other teachers sat in their desks busy with their paperwork when her homeschool teacher, Ms. Kim, looked at her.
"Melanie, what are you doing in here?" She asked, walking to her.
"I'm sure you heard about what happened; I'm suspended, so I need two days worth of homework for each of my classes." Melanie responded. Ms. Kim looked at her before going to do as told.
"That was nice work you did to Yun-seok." Woo-jin grabbed a pen from Ms. Han's desk before writing something down.
"Ain't that your friend, some friend you are?" Melanie stared at him. Woo-jin smiled at her.
"True, he's my friend, but I want to be your friend, Melanie." Woo-jin watched the young teen cross her arms.
"A friend, you say." She stated before walking up to him. His eyes went to her lips almost quickly.
"A friend." Woo-jin stated.
She hummed, "Are you sure you want to be my friend? It comes with a lot of benefits." as she stared at his eyes, lips, and then his eyes again.
He nodded before Ms. Kim finally came over, making her lean back.
"Here's your homework for the two days. You're my best student, so please stay out of trouble." Ms. Kim tells her with a small smile.
"I'll try to." Melanie nodded before turning to leave. Woo-jin and Ms. Kim watched her leave before he remembered he had written his number down before chasing after her. Ms. Kim was glad that now Woo-jin might leave Ms. Han's thumb. The disgusting woman is abusing her authority.
Melanie put the packets in her bag before hearing footsteps rushing after her.
"Melanie!" Woojin started causing her to stop as she wondered what he wanted. He slowly gave her the piece of paper.
"My number." He says as he watches her take the paper.
"See you in two days." She stated before walking away.
