Melanie had gone to her first class after splitting up from Kang-ha, who was pulled away by a scholarship girl student, probably to tell him the same thing as aways. She had heard everyone talking about what happened this morning with Tae-ho. He was some heir of the Jaeyol group. Somehow he was to be influenced by other rich kids. Their rich society was different from America's rich society. Sure, the rich worried about the rich. But she never heard of Rich kids hurting any scholarship students. Maybe the schools were good at hiding it but still.
She sat in her seat in her homeroom class. Daniel was already in his seat, but what surprised her was Woo-sik in the class too.
"Hello Daniel, how are you?" Melanie says sitting down.
"I'm fine; you look pretty today." Daniel stated with a smile on his face.
"Thank you." Melanie smile at him before Woo-sik jumped in.
"You look very beautiful, princess." He said it with a cheeky smile. She may have kissed him, but she still needs to get to know him. He was handsome, sure, but it was a night of fun.
"Thanks." She said with a small smile before her name was called.
"Melanie, can you deliver these papers to Ms. Han in standard A?" Her homeroom asked.
"Yes, ma'am, right away." She replied, taking the papers softly before walking out. Her heels clicked, clacking until she looked at the prediction of the boy Chan-min and his friends on the wall with Yun-seok talking to them.
"From this moment on, any assistant that speaks to the new scholarship student or even acknowledges him will get the same treatment. Chan-min. I shouldn't have to tell you how to handle this stuff. I mean, do I have to hold your fucking hand through everything?" Yun-seok's angered voice could be heard as Chan-min groans in pain.
"You're right. It won't happen again. I was actually just in the middle of a plan. A plan to take care of him!" Chan-min shouted as she opened the door, catching the eye of Woo-jin, who froze thinking about the dream that he had.
Even with an audience, Kang-ha started laughing, catching Yun-seok off guard.
"I'm sorry. I've never seen anyone make these plans in front of their target." Ha laughed, making Yun-seok scoff.
"Have you? Do you have a death wish, motherfucker?" Cha-min cut in before Ha cut him off.
"Hey, Yun-seok just told you not to speak to me. Or did you not hear him?" Kang-ha smirked.
Melanie was fascinated by Kang-ha, acting so different from his cheery status. Ms. Han coughed, bringing her back to the task at hand.
"My homeroom teacher wanted me to bring you this." She handed the papers over to Ms. Han, who put the papers on her desk. She had heard a groan before turning around to see Kang-ha gripping Yun-seok's hand, almost breaking his fingers. Does she have to save everyone around here? She walked over, ignoring the calls of Ms. Han and the standing up of Woo-jin. They stared at the scene.
She placed her hand on Kang-ha's.
"He's not even worth it, Kang-ha. You're better than this." She spoke to him, making him look at her before he pushed his hand away for him. Yun-seok held his hurt hand before saying,
"So this bitch is supposed to protect you now, scholarship boy."
"What did you just call me?" Melanie questioned her voice, stern yet cold. Her hand curled into a fist. Everyone in class watched, scared but curious what would happen. She would only let one person call her that, and it was her friend. To use it in a demeaning way, they will have to see her.
"I called you a bitch!" He shouted.
Yun-seok smirked once he saw her just standing there before a fast fist punched him in the face. Yun-seok fell to the ground on his hands and knees as she punted his head with a swift kick, knocking him on his back.
"A bitch, you say." She stood over him with her heel directly over his eye.
"I hate that word, but most importantly, I hate bullies. This school seems to have a lot of that. I'm sure you'll run back and tell Ri-an and let him know that from this day forward, if he wants Kang-ha, he has to get past me." Melanie told him as he watched her heel.
"Any of you." She looked at Cha-min and his buddies, making them nod fast.
"Ms. Majors, please leave." Ms. Han shouts.
"I will; you are worse than scum," she gritted to Yun-seok before walking away. Kang-ha had new respect for her. Woo-jim watched her leave like a sad puppy. Ms. Han asked for two students to take Yun-seok to the infirmary. Walking out of the room, she shook her hand, letting out the tense muscles before acting like nothing happened.
