Majors' Mansion ( South Korea)

Melanie pulled into her spot in the driveway as she parked the car before getting out with her things. That asshole popped her shirt. Rich kids always have secrets, and she just knows he's full of them. They all are. She walked over to the door, opening it once she unlocked it. She was so tired and just hoped that her mom started cooking. She put her things on the table across from the door before venturing off to look for her mom, only to see her mom boxing up more of her items.

"Hey mom, how are you?" Melanie leaned up against the door, watching her mother. Her mother turned to see her daughter, bringing a smile to her face.

"Hey baby, you're hom." Jackie went over to hug her daughter before going back to pack.

"I just heard from the ajhumma at the store. She sold out of our products." Her mother tells her with a large smile.

"Already! Jeez, well, that's good. When will dinner be ready?" She asked her mother.

"We are going out to dinner with some of your father's picks of investors with their family. So get dressed in something soft yet elegant, okay?" Her mother told her.

"Yes ma'am. Where's dad?" Melanie questioned her mother. Only to be jump-scared by her father, causing her to scream. Her father laughed at her, hugging his daughter with a kiss to her forehead.

"Daddd." Melanie whined.

"How was your day at school? Did anyone mess with you? Do I need to get the gun?" Her dad rushed out, making her daughter hit him laughing.

"Dad, what! You know I can handle myself. You taught all you know." She said before her dad caught the shirt.

"What happened to your shirt?" He asked his daughter.

"During PE, while changing, they only gave us a few seconds to get ready." She lied. Her looked like he didn't believe her but carried on anyway.

"Well, there should be some buttons to put on. Check your mothers and mine room." Nathaniel told his daughter, who nodded before going to walk away.

"Don't forget to get ready for the dinner." He yelled as she yelled back, "Okay!"

Nathaniel went inside his daughter's workroom, watching his beautiful wife close the last package. He back hugged her, kissing her neck softly, making Jackie smile at him. The couple stood in silence as they relished in their solitude. Nathiel hummed softly before speaking.

"How about when we get home? I'll fill up the tub and make it look beautiful. You relax, and I'll pamper you to your heart's desire."

"Mmh, I like the sound of that." Jackie moaned softly before they both went to get ready.

(Timeskip)

Chairman Jung's Mansion

Melanie had pinned her hair to make it look short, as the curls sit nicely on her shoulders. She wore heels to make her look taller than she was. Her and mom matched in dress, but her mom's dress was much longer. The major family walked up, passing the white walls, walking like a unit. They walked through the pereen green grass to the long table, where both families waited for them. The families couldn't help but admire the three as they walked up.

"Chairman Jung, wonderful to see you again." Nathaniel bowed with a smile. His Korean is very good and fluent.

"Nathaniel, welcome." Chairman Jung smiled at the man.

The chairman looked over to the women with him.

"This must be your wife and daughter." Jung says with a soft smile.

"Yes, this is my wife Jackie and my self-made Ceo herself, my daughter Melanie." Nathaniel announced to him as the chairman's family let out a noise of surprise.

"Really, a Ceo?!? What's your business?" The chairman's wife asked.

"I make custom jewelry and skin cosmetic lines." Melanie says it in Korean fluently.

"My, you speak Korean so well. You have to let me wear some jewelry." The chairman's wife gushed. The head of the other family watched with annoyance but kept a smile on his face.

"I'll send you my favorites." Melanie spoke before making eye contact with a girl who was wearing an off-shoulder black dress. Her long black hair went down her back, her makeup simple, yet her red lip added more to the outfit.

"Come, come sit down." Chairman Jung urged as the third family sat down. Melanie sat down next to her mother. Before the food was brought out.

"I certainly hope the food is to your liking." Minutes after they started eating, Jung looked at the two men and their families.

"I don't often indulge in such luxuries. You spoil me, truly. Sharing a beautiful meal in a beautiful garden and with you, above all people, Chairman Jung." The man says with a nod before her father inputted,

"It's a wonderful meal, Chairman Jung. Kudos to the Chef."

"Thank you. Assemblyman Lee has mentioned organizing lunch several times, but I was busy, so I hope it was worth the wait." Chairman Jung responded.

"Pardon me, but may I say you have a beautiful daughter?" The men's wife says, looking at the girl with a soft smile.

"I bet she takes after her mother." The woman continued making the woman blush. Melanie looked at her like she was the fakiest thing. Even she knew the girl wasn't the woman's child. She just hoped the woman treated her right. She looked at her mother before drinking the water that was next to her white wine.

"Oh, do you think so? I appreciate it, but I think Jae-i is... far, far prettier." The chairman's wife waved her hand with a playful stop it.

"Blessed with both looks and brains and excels in school. You must be so proud. Woo-jin told me that Jae-i is at the top of her class at Jooshin High." The woman stated making Melanie look at her. The boy at school. The asshole. These must be his parents.

"Well, we've been pretty lucky. The children study hard without us having to push them, really. We're proud of our Jae-hyeok as well. Graduated from Hanguk Middle, top of his class last year. " The wife gushed to her son with a smile. The boy relished in the attention he was getting.

"I'm just glad to have graduated." Her son says with a grin.

"My, among all our families, we have accomplished beautiful children." Jung stated that Melanie couldn't wait for this lunch to be over.

"I want to hear how your daughter became a CEO at such a young age." The asshole mom says as everyone looks at Melanie.

She looked at her mom and dad, who edged her on. They loved this story and usually told their friends the story. They were very proud of their daughter.

"Well, since I was younger, I always looked up to my dad. He started from the bottom, self-made as well. So once I started making jewelry, I sold it to my mom, then to my friends at school, and then to my mom's friends. I basically became the go-to for jewelry. I made real pearls from clams into necklaces. And since then I grew it from there." Melanie tells them as everyone hangs off her every word except the girl that wanted to be anywhere but here.

"Wow, pearls. Where do I sign up?" The asshole mother joked, making everyone laugh before they all got up.

"Are you coming inside with us or are you going to leave?" Nathaniel asked his daughter.

"I'll go home. Good luck, dad." Melanie kissed her dad's cheek before hugging and kissing her mom's cheek before leaving. She saw the non-audible argument between Chairman Jung and the daughter before walking away. She reached into her purse to grab her keys before seeing the boy that went to her school.

Third's Pov

After Jae-I had walked away with Kang-Ha's button-up shirt, Kang-Ha stood watching her walk away from him. He heard heels before turning around. The foreginer Melanie Majors stood there looking like a princess. He had tried not to stare at her as she walked past before she stopped to look at him.

"Hey, you go to Jooshin, right?" Melanie asked him.

"Yes, the scholarship student Kang-Ha." He quickly introduced himself.

"Ahh, nice to meet you, Kang-Ha." She held out her hand so he could shake it. The handshake felt like to him it was forever as he stared into her doe-like eyes before he quickly let go. It turned awkward, but he couldn't take his eyes off her. Melanie smiled at the notion before looking at her watch.

"Well, it was nice seeing you." Melanie started walking again before Kang Ha called her name, making her turn around.

"Can I.... get your number?" Kang-ha, with a soft blush, waved his phone before Melanie walked over to give it to him before sending herself a message so she could get his number.

"Bye Kang-ha," Melanie says before leaving to go home. Kang-Ha smiled at the girl as she walked away before going back to his gig.
