Sixth Seizure

Jason laughs out loud as some of his friends crack another lame joke over the table. The boy is currently sitting in the cafeteria, a girl on his lap. It's just a normal day like any other and the first few lessons have passed already.

For information, the girl's name is Mindy and Jason has slept with her a couple of times. They are not together or anything, Jason just needs to satisfy his needs once in a while.

She clearly wants them to become more, but Jason doesn't like her like that at all. She's not his type. She's loud, annoying and a drama queen. The fact that she forced herself onto Jason's lap in the first place pisses him off, but he knows he will get some action later if he lets her stay.

What men won't do for sex. It's kind of disgusting, but it's not like people want Jason to be any different, so he isn't planning on changing. In order to be popular, you have to be mean and a fuck boy. Only that way people will respect you. At least that's what everyone thinks.

The day has gone by as it usually would and Jason has almost forgot everything about the fact that he's technically at work right now.

"Hey," Mindy turns towards him and whispers lewdly, "can I come to your place later?"

Jason has successfully avoided all questions that could lead anyone to figuring out that he doesn't live where he usually did, and this one he's going to smoothly dodge too.

"Nah, I'd rather go to yours," he replies. Mindy giggles as she feels the boy pinch her waist slightly. She takes some hair and starts wrapping it around her finger, something that also pisses Jason off. She tries to be cute, but Jason hates it. He doesn't show that though, he just smiles and keeps reminding himself why he's holding up with this shit.

"Oh, getting laid today huh?" Jason's friend Matt states and wiggles his eyebrows at Jason. The younger simply rolls his eyes at him and throws out his middle finger. Matt is kind of a dick and Jason is simply with him because he's the top jock of their little group. He's handsome, no one can run from that, but he's mean as fuck.

Mindy and Matt join in on some random conversation the others are having when Jason feels his phone vibrating in his pocket. At first, he doesn't think much about it and he just fishes it out to look what it is. Jason gets a lot of notifications every day, so of course he's completely lost about what it might be.

However, he feels a slight pang of panic in his chest when he sees Travis's name on his screen.

Now. Room 24.

Short and simple, but Jason understands exactly what this means. Okay, he needs to get out of here without anyone getting suspicious. He hasn't seen Travis all day, it's as if the boy disappeared from the surface of earth. Jason is still feeling slightly bad about what he did earlier today, but has managed to forget somewhat about it.

"I have to go to the bathroom," he says to Mindy and she gets off his lap. They seem to be in a pretty heated debate about something unimportant that Jason hasn't even bothered listening too. He slips from the cafeteria without any eyes lingering on his and he hurries towards room 24.

Joshua was very stern about Jason having to be by Travis's side as fast as possible. Which makes a lot of sense, considering Travis can hurt himself if he isn't secured. Jason rushes down the halls and smiles gently to the people he passes so they won't get any wrong ideas.

When he finally arrives before room 24, he looks around and makes sure he's somewhat alone before entering. He closes the door behind him and looks around. It doesn't take long for him to spot Travis by the end of the classroom, sitting against the wall with a distant look in his eyes.

He doesn't even react when Jason walks over to him and pulls him away from the wall. Jason looks around and huffs when he doesn't see a pillow or a shirt to put under the elder's head. Guess he already has to use his lap on the first day, even if he doesn't like the idea.

"I got you," he says as he sits with his legs stretched and gently places Travis's head on his lap. Jason pulls out some paper from his pocket that he brought with him just in case and places one piece under Travis's mouth.

The male is licking his lips and still looking into nothing. Jason wonders what Travis is seeing, there must be something for him to be this far gone in his head. His body slowly starts shaking and Jason takes this as a cue to gently massage Travis's neck. It's an unpleasant sight as always, but Jason tries not to get affected by it.

He learned all the good hints and ways to make the seizure easier for Travis and he hopes it won't take long for it to be over. There's still about 20 minutes left of their free period and Travis takes at least 10 minutes to recover after the seizure, he can make it in time if everything goes well.

"It's okay," he says. Joshua explained to him that calming words can also help, simply because Travis is in a state where he in certain cases can hear things around him, even if his mind is in another place.

The boy's arms start trashing around like Jason has seen them do many times before and his body shakes violently. Jason makes sure to keep an eye out for all of Travis's body parts and conclude that they aren't hitting on something that will cause him pain afterwards. Travis's eyes roll to the back of his head and some droll starts appearing.

Jason is quick to dry it off, still keeping his other hand on Travis's neck. He lets it run up to his cheek where he gently presses Travis's face against his lap, keeping it steady so he won't slip and bang it against the floor.

The boy's arms stop trashing around after a few minutes and are now just shaking. His legs too have calmed down, setting his body into the next state of the seizure. Jason keeps caring for the other's face and he doesn't even realize he gets a little lost in doing so. Travis's skin is way softer than he thought it was. Does he moisturize it or something? He doesn't have a single pimple or anything like it either.

So unfair.

Jason watches as Travis lifts one of his hands and confused runs it down his face. Jason lets him get his space and leans back on his hands, seeing the boy's eyes blink and try to focus. It's always like this when he wakes up. He's really confused and his body doesn't work fully the way it should. His movements are lazy and he's very disorientated.

"You awake?" Jason asks, "you're still at school." It's probably good to inform Travis of everything around him so he won't get too surprised when he fully wakes up. As he recovers without answering, Jason pulls out his phone and checks the clock. He writes down in his notes how long it took and how it unfolded. It wasn't a bad seizure, it was over pretty quickly and it was mostly the arms that caused trouble.

Travis rubs his forehead with his hand and takes a few deep breaths. He seems to be coming back after a good five minutes or so, but he's clearly having a terrible headache at the moment so he decided not to move from his spot on Jason's lap.

"H-How long?" that's the first thing Travis asks once he comes back. Compared to home, he can't just take a long nap now. He has to wake up and continue the day. God, he hates school.

"4 minutes," Jason states. Travis nods and lets his hand rest over his eyes as he sighs. His head is throbbing and he's glad he decided to bring some painkillers in his bag.

"Can you take the pills in my bag?" he asks Jason who can reach it from here. The younger nods and starts searching for it. He finds them and hands them over, Travis is so used to taking pills that he doesn't even need water anymore. He just throws them into his mouth and gulps them down, making Jason look at him uncomfortably. Just the thought of tasting a pill makes him want to gag.

Travis uses another few minutes to get better before he sits up. He does it slowly to not make the headache any worse. No matter how many times he goes through this, it still hurts like fucking ass and he would literally do anything to avoid it. But of course, he's not that lucky.

"So... can I go?" Jason asks after another minute of silence passes by, "classes will start soon."

"Yeah, whatever," Travis mumbles and slowly stands up. Usually, he's supposed to still be supervised for at least 15 more minutes, but he can already hear how impatient Jason is. He probably needs to get back to his friends so they won't 'figure' him out or whatever the fuck it is that he's so scared of.

Jason feels his heart tug painfully, telling himself to shut the fuck up. But he dismisses the feeling and nods, getting up as well. "See you," he simply says before escaping outside the room. Travis leans against a table and lets his head fall backwards. His puls is going crazy and he's dizzy, but it's always like this.

He hates it. So much.

Everyday, all day and for the rest of his life he's probably going to walk around in fear for suddenly having a seizure. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

He's so tired.
