"(F/N)!" I flinched when my co-worker entered the change room

"What's wrong Yuika?" I asked as I took off my shirt and then put on my uniform blouse

"Are you going to congratulate Kimura-san?" She asked while giggling

"Hmmm? Kimura-kun? For being the new kitchen manager?"

"You already heard of it? Yesterday, the store-manager talked to him and made him as the kitchen manager! Ah but he will help in the floor too time to time. Anyway, Its the first time since he is only here for three years. Usually you should be here for five years to become a manager"

"Yeah, we entered this family restaurant at the same time. Also, he became a full-time employer just after six months" I added as I put on my uniform skirt. "Then, you asked me if I will congratulate him? I don't know, probably yes? But I really don't talk to him that much"

"Even though you are in the same age, same time to enter here, you really don't talk to him"

"Aren't you the same?"

"For my case, I can't talk to him since his radiance is so bright! He is so cute! He is very friendly, but when he started talking to me, I just can't! Kyaaa! I am fangirling again!" She was really fangirling over him. But then she sighed loudly "but because in this restaurant, we are not allowed to date each other, its too sad. Also, there's a rumour that Kimura-san is already dating someone"

"So he is already dating someone." I commented while fixing my hair "so he is already taken then" I chuckled

"Because he usually has a bento with him. Its also cute!"

"Probably he made it himself?" I asked but she shook her head

"There were times when he didn't expect what's inside. Oh well, for sure he has a pretty girlfriend. Too bad, I secretly ship the two of you. Since when you two stand side by side, you look so cute."

"When did we stand side by side?" I tried to remember but I couldn't

"Well, the first time you were introduced. And then everytime you give and get the orders from him. And then when he is on the floor taking orders instead on the kitchen." She explained, and I finally remember. But then I just shook my head "ahh, stupid store-manager for banning it!"

"Ah, you are already here (F/N) and Yuika, we need people on the floor now. There are lots of customers" one of our seniors, Natsuki-senpai, called us "also, (F/N), did you hand-in your request vacation dates for next month?"

"Ah, not yet. I will hand-in today." I answered and we hurriedly went out.

And its true! What's up with the gallery?!

"Girls?!" Once Yuika asked that I was also taken aback that indeed all girls. Where did all these people come from?!

"Ah! Good thing you arrived earlier!" The new kitchen manager Kimura Ryouhei-kun greeted us with a big smile "Can I leave the floor to you? I'll help the kitchen now"

"Leave them to us!" Yuika responded and she blushed "u-uhm, c-congratulation for being promoted, Kimura-san"

"Thank you! But I will be needing your help from now on" he grinned and then bowed down and left to the kitchen

"Gosh, his dimples!" Yuika grabbed my hand and even though she said it in low voice, I knew she was shouting.

Because it was too busy today, they asked me to stay until closing. It was okay not to stay for cleaning, but I helped them after all. I was waiting for the time of our bus here in the staff room with Yuika, Natsuki-senpai and Takuya-kun.

"So, how are you guys going home?" The store manager asked us as he entered the room "the other staffs will be going with me."

"We can take the subway-" I said but the new kitchen manager, Kimura Ryouhei-kun, came out of the changing room

"I can send the four of them" he said putting his bag over his shoulder "I know their address, so I can send them. (L/N) is living in the same area as mine, so I can send her last"

"Then that settles. Thank you for today, and Ryouhei, Takuya, I also said this to the other male staffs" store manager sighed and he continued "stop sending too much pheromones. I am happy that you are attracting customers, but it was too much. Especially today"

"I didn't do anything" the two of them said in chorus

"It can't be helped, the male workers here are in different level after all, tenchou" Natsuki-senpai commented, and we just agreed

"Hai, hai. Then Ryouhei, just make sure to send them safely"

We bid goodbye to the others and went to the parking lot. Because he would send me last, they asked me to sit on the passenger seat. But he was only talking to the other three. I was just gazing outside.

We sent Yuika first, and then Natsuki-senpai. On our way to Takuya-kun's house, he suddenly cracked into laughter

"(F/N)-san, you can talk now" he said but I still remained silence. With my eyes closed "She is too tired."

"Are you okay?" This driver-san asked in low voice. He held my hand as he stepped on the break when the stop light became red. "She is really exhausted. You can sleep once we got home. And its fine if you don't make food for me"

"My body clock will still wake up early in the morning. So let me sleep for now. Takuya-kun's place is a little bit far" I responded, still my eyes closed but felt the car moved again

"But I am still surprised that it will be two years since you two started going out, but the others still don't know. Ah, except for the area manager" Takuya-kun commented

"He was the one who told us to make sure not to tell the others" I answered and looked behind "and then there's Takuya-kun who went to Ryouhei's condominium so sudden and found out everything"

"At least I didn't tell anyone." he whined

"Did you already give your vacation dates for next month?" Ryouhei asked and I nodded "the date we talked about?"

"Yeah" I responded in low voice

"Go and sleep for now. I'll wake you up when we arrived home" he said, still holding my hand.

As I closed my eyes, I could feel his thumb rubbing the back of my hand.

Yes, the rumoured girlfriend is me. We are hiding this relationship for two years already, well to be exact, 1 year and 11 months. It was hard, but we really didn't mind. Since we wanted to work in that restaurant.

Indeed we met three years ago in that restaurant, since we became employer at the same time. But not just because we were both employers there, but to our surprise we are living in the same condominium, and we are neighbor. We hang out more than the others could think of.

When we started going out, its either I stay in his place or he will stay in my place. Either way, since we are neighbors.

The area manager noticed it two months after when we started going out. He talked to the two of us privately. He warned us not to tell others since the store manager would fire us if he found out about it. So since that day, we didn't talk that much in work. We didn't even had a chance to go on dates around Niigata since there would be a chance that someone might see us. The address they knew where I live was my parents' address who also live in the same area. They knew about me and Ryouhei, and were fine with it. So when my friends send me home, or they wanted to stay, I gave my address.

But who knows what happen when we got home in the condominium.

"(F/N), we're here" he woke me up

As usual, I went out first and entered the condominium. I went straight to my place and immediately changed. Not long after I could hear him from the next door. I slumped my whole body on my bed and I was really tired.

And just dozed off.

That next morning, as what I said, I woke up at 7 in the morning. I opened my eyes and chuckled seeing his face.

"He again sleeps here" I kissed his cheeks and covered him with blanket. It was then I saw the empty wine on the side table with the spare key of my room. "He again finished one. We even drank lots when he became a manager." I mumbled to myself as I stood up. I got the bottle wine and prepared breakfast and also his snack later. His work today is from one in the afternoon to closing.

"I wonder what time he will wake up?" I asked myself as I wore the apron.

While cooking, I also cleaned the kitchen since I had no chance to clean it yesterday.

And as I was putting the seasonings, I felt him from my back as he wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder

"Good morning. You sure are early. Its still 8 in the morning" I greeted him

"Because you weren't there when I woke up. What are you cooking?"

"Miso soup." I answered and had a spoonful of the soup. I made sure that it wasn't hot and so I blew it, then let him taste it "how is it?"

"As always delicious." He responded then kissed my cheeks

"Stop with sweet words. Its still early in the morning."

He laughed as he moved back and then opened the refrigerator. "Refreshment in the morning"

"Ryouhei!" I called him and shook my head when I saw what he was holding "its still early in the morning. And you have work at one. Put the beer back and wait for your coffee"

"Eh? But...?"

He pouted his lips, and I could see his eyes pleading "no, later" I said and just complied to what I said. Once he put it back, he sat down on the dining table and waited for his coffee. As I put down the coffee in front of him, he faced me and made a big wide smile. I poked his dimples and we just laughed from it "I will bring your sandwich and the miso soup too"

"I am really filled with love from (F/N). Even my stomach is filled" I heard him commented

"I wonder what is that? Compliment? Or just your normal words?" I asked and put filled the bowl with miso soup. I put it on a tray and then got the sandwich from the microwave since I hid it there. "Hai, your breakfast"

"Aren't you going to eat with me?" He asked and tapped his lap "sit here and let's eat"

"I wanted to, but I need to prepare now."

"You don't have work today, right?"

"Supposed to be. But Hiyoshi-san cannot go to work, so I will cover for him."

"Hiyoshi? His work will start at 1 too. You still have time"

"Yeah, but I need to meet up with Yuika at 10. Then we'll go to work together" I answered and took off my apron. "So I need to prepare now"

"Do you want me to send you?"

"No, I am fine. Plus, Yuika doesn't know. Ah, but she shipped the two of us" I answered and tapped his shoulder then headed to prepare.

At 9:30, I finished preparing. I was in hurry since the travel time to the mall by train is 30 minutes. I was busy putting on my shoes when I realized Ryouhei behind. I turned around and he was leaning his body on the wall, his arms crossed and he was holding a glass of water.

"Ryouhei, make sure to lock the door, okay? And don't drink beer. You still have work. Your snack is in the microwave"

He chuckled and nodded towards me. He approached me and gave a quick kiss on the lips "take care and see you later at work." He said but he had no plan on letting me go since his arms were around my waist. He loves to do it.

"Ryouhei, I'll be late now."

"Its okay. Just tell Yuika that the great me doesn't want you to go"

I made a chop on his head and kissed his cheeks "Yuika doesn't know." I said and he freed me but he was pouting his lips. "Then I'll be going"

"Take care!"

As I closed the door behind me, I giggled inside. We are just girlfriend/boyfriend, but yes, we are like newlywed couples.

Once I arrived on the mall, Yuika waved at me. I immediately apologized that I was late. I promised her that I would go with her buy new shoes after all, that was why.

"Then, what happened after that?" I looked at her as we were walking towards the shop where she always buy

"After? Huh?"

"You and Kimura. What happened after that?"

"I was sleeping though. He just woke me up when we arrived in my place." I answered. I always felt sorry everytime I lied about it. But in order for us to stay in that restaurant, we must hide it.

"Ah, but still I ship you two." She said and giggled "I have a crush on Kimura-san, but somehow I really wanted him to end up with you. But that's either you will quit or he will quit. But I don't want you two to quit!"

I just laughed because I was really lost in words.

Since she found a shoes so easily, we headed to the restaurant an hour earlier before our work. As we entered the staff room, an unwanted person was sitting, eating her lunch with some other staffs.

"Ah, you two are still working here?" She asked and she sounded so disgust

"Bitch-san too, I am surprised you are still here. I was thinking that you went somewhere and drop dead" my sweat covered as Yuika responded to Akiba Akane-san, a senpai but same age here in work. And Yuika calls her Bitch-san, for why? I really don't know the reason, but I experienced her bitching around.

Also...

"I am waiting for my Ryouhei, and other garbage arrived" this bitch-san always claim Ryouhei as hers

I held back my emotion and noticed the new schedule for next month was already posted. So I just hurriedly approached it and saw that they rejected the day off I asked for the first week, but the third weekend, they gave me day off I requested.

"Ahre? You have the same off with Kimura-san next month." Yuika pointed out.

I hid my emotions and shouted internally. Well, because we already decided it, to celebrate our 2nd year Anniversary.

"Ah, the new schedule is up!" I heard his voiced entered and I knew Akiba-san started to flirt with him, but my heart jumped out when he stood behind me "yes! They have me the dates I asked, even the third weekend. Yatta!"

"We have the same off, Ryouhei. During the third weekend" Once Akiba-san said that, I felt nervous all of a sudden. Don't tell me someone will ruin our date?!

"Ah you are right!"

This guy here?!

"Do you want to go somewhere?" She asked and I became curious to his answer

"I am glad to, but I already have a plan that weekend. I'm going somewhere with my girlfriend"

I immediately looked at him, and really showed that I was surprised. The people inside the staff room became silence, ah except for Yuika who sounded so rejected

"S-so, y-you have a girlfriend after all?!"

"Yeah!" He responded in energetic voice and made a peace sign. He looked at me and then to others "I am looking forward to it, since we will be celebrating our 2nd year Anniversary!"

"So kitchen manager-san has a girlfriend already. Congratulations on your Anniversary!" the other staffs commented and I was happy when they congratulated us.

"Who is it?! And where are you going?!" Bitch-san, I mean Akiba-san anxiously asked

He smiled and winked at us "Sorry, I want to enjoy my time with my girlfriend so its a secret"
