Kaji Yuki sat on the waiting room in the agency he was affiliated with, chilling and waiting for his meeting with the directors. He was reading his manuscript, but finished it not long after.

"I wonder if I can just go there?" He asked himself as he stretched his arms. He had a glimpsed on the center table and noticed the bunch of magazines and manga on top. He grabbed one of the manga but changed it after when he noticed that he already read it. He again grabbed one, and this time read it.

He was reading it, silently, page by page, in which he didn't notice one staff entered the room. The staff was laughing silently, as he sat down on the other side.

"This is so good!" He exclaimed as he closed it. He looked at the manga on the table, looking for the next volume but failed to find it.

"The next release will be next month, Kaji-san" the staff chuckled. At that, Kaji shouted in surprise "you were too focused on reading"

"Is this yours?"

"No, but I read it. Specifically, I read the completed series of that author" the staff answered

Kaji looked at the author's name and smiled "(L/N) (F/N)-sensei. So she has completed series? I should read it then"

The staff told him the title of the mangaka's work before, making Kaji excited to read it.

Later that day, after his meeting with the directors, he headed for his recording. A usual day for him.

"Shimono-san, are you going home now?" Kaji asked his colleague Shimono Hino, who was putting his script on his bag. They werr done for the day, recording two anime in a row from the same recording studio

"I'm just going to buy the complete series for my next drama CD. Do you want to drink?"

"Sure! Let's go! I don't have schedule tomorrow morning, so its fine tonight. Also, I'll tag along. I'm going to buy this one series. One staff recommended the mangaka"

"Who?"

"Eeto, (L/N) (F/N)-sensei" he answered reading the name that he wrote on his hand. Good thing it was still there.

"Ah, I heard that mangaka." Shimono faced him "they said that her first work was a big success. But no one knows her that much since she's a new mangaka. Its no wonder if they decide to do a drama CD for it"

"Hmmm" Kaji stared at his hand, becoming curious to what was the story about. Since he thought that it might be the same as Ao Haru Ride or Strobe Edge, since the plots of those two manga were a success.

Together with Shimono, the two went to buy the series Shimono wanted. Kaji on the other hand, he was standing in front of the shelf where the manga series he wanted to buy was. Next to him stood a girl with (height) stature, (h/l) (h/c), with her arms crossed, eyeing with the same manga series he was looking at.

Not long after, she sighed and tilted her head.

"Do you want to buy it?" Kaji asked out of curiosity. The girl looked at him and she nodded slightly "but you are having second thought?"

"Yeah, I have money, but..." the girl again sighed "how about you?"

"I will buy, but I am tempted to buy all series in one go" Kaji answered making the girl chuckled.

"You sure have a nice voice, Mr" She complimented as she got one volume and opened it "I could imagine your voice for the main character"

"Is that so?" Kaji chuckled and grabbed the first volume "why do you think that this series is very popular now? Is it the same as Ao Haru Ride?"

"I really don't know why people got hooked on it though. But I know for sure that its based on the mangaka's real life story"

Kaji wanted to comment about it, but failed since Shimono already called him. He instead decided to buy it some other time.

"Did you buy it?" Shimono asked as they lined up towards the cashier.

"No, I'll buy it some other time" he said then glimpsed towards the girl she just met, who was now walking with someone on their way out of the store

"As I said, you should just ask the director to give you copies of it. Have you finished the next chapter?" The girl shook her head and her friend sighed loudly "get a grip of yourself, (L/N) (F/N)-sensei!"

"Please stop that... Call me normally..."

Kaji's eyes and jaw were wide open, speechless to what he just heard. He was in panic mode that he wanted to buy the series already, but Shimono was already on the counter.

"What's wrong, Kaji-kun?" Shimono asked but he shook his head and turned his head towards the exit door.

Smiling to himself from the small encounter.

A week had passed and finally Kaji bought the complete series of (L/N) (F/N)'s manga. He just returned from his two days travel and there he bought the series.

That night in his place, he got the 1st volume and excitedly read it.

"I'll finish the 1st volume then continue it tomorrow"

"Kaji-san, you have dark circles under your eyes. And its rare for you to be late on meeting" Murase Ayumu commented as they were walking down the stairs.

"I told myself to read one volume last night... I ended up reading everything" he answered as his face became paler, making Murase laughed in amusement "I am planning to reread it later during my free time"

Murase laughed at him and asked the title of the manga "Ah, I know that! Kaito-kun recommended it to me. He said that its really good series. Not the typical plot of shoujo manga story"

"Right, and every chapter would really give you the urge to read the next one" Kaji followed and he insisted for Murase to read it.

As they arrived on the first floor, Kaji and Murase saw some staffs and they helped them carry some boxes towards the cafeteria. Even though Kaji was already tired and sleepy, he showed that he was still have energy to work.

On their way back to the first floor lobby where they needed to get their revise schedules, Kaji's eyes widened seeing the familiar mangaka entering the building.

"I am hear for Morikubo Showtaro-san. I'm (L/N) (F/N). I was asked to bring these documents" she said on the front desk, and the staff was about to call Morikubo, when the said person came out from the elevator.

"(F/N)-chan, thank you for bringing it here!" The male seiyuu excitedly hugged her, getting the documents from her.

"No... Since Nee-san asked me, so its fine. Also I'm going to drop this on the studio."

"Then I'll send you there, as my thanks. Let's go first and get my things" Morikubo said and led her to the elevator.

Kaji was once again at lost, knowing that the girl he met on the store was the mangaka of the manga he was curious about, and now Morikubo knows her.

"Kaji-san?" Murase called him, noticing the dumbfounded face of the male seiyuu "what's wrong?"

"Its surprising... I am being conscious of her. My curiosity towards her is rising" Kaji chuckled, but for his colleague, he didn't get what he was saying.

~skip time~

Kaji reread (L/N) (F/N)'s first manga series for he didn't know how many times already. He really got addicted to it. He found out that she is the cousin of Morikubo's wife, and she only had one finished series, and one on-going series. He also couldn't help but reminded the words she said.

"I really don't know why people got hooked on it though. But I know for sure that its based on the mangaka's real life story"

"Its unique after all, that's why people got hooked to it. So it means that it was her story during high school? Then, this on-going series, her university days?" Kaji asked himself while waiting for the recording of his new drama CD to start. He voiced the main character, but he instead read the new chapter of (L/N) (F/N)'s on going series. The other seiyuu already arrived, and they were just waiting for the director to arrive.

The recording took two hours, and they easily finished the volume 1.

"Do you guys still have recording after?" One seiyuu, Ono Kenshou asked, inviting them to eat after. Some of them still have, but there were still some who said that they were already done for the day "how about Kaji-san?"

"I'll wait for Shimono-san for a while to give some documents. He has recording here after us. I'll just go and follow you later"

"Is that so? Then we'll message the place"

Kaji made an okay sign and waved at them as they left the studio. Kaji on the other hand stayed outside the room and waited for Shimono to arrive. He was just reading his script,

"Good thing you are still here, Kaji-kun" Kaji looked up and one director approached him "do you still have time? We are lack of one person actually today, so can you voice one more character? Its a minor character so there's not much of lines and today is the last recording"

"Yeah, I think I can do it." Kaji answered

"Really? Thank you very much! Then I'll give you the script-"

"Director, the mangaka is here to watch the last recording" one staff informed and the director told Kaji to just wait for a while then left.

"Before that, what drama CD?" Kaji asked confusedly. He messaged Ono Kenshou and told him that he might not be able to join them.

"Kaji-san, the director is calling you now. He will give the script" one staff called him.

He followed him behind, asking the staff about the drama CD, but the staff told him that he just started working there recently and he didn't know about it.

As they were approaching them, Kaji's eyes were wide open seeing the mangaka of the series he was addicted to.

"Kaji-kun, this is the first time you will meet her, she is (L/N) (F/N)-sensei, the mangaka of the drama CD you will work with today"

"Ah... Yeah... Nice to meet you" Kaji smiled towards her, not expecting if she still could remember him. For Kaji Yuki, he was grateful to finally met her again, but somehow dejected knowing that the manga already got a drama CD and he didn't hear about it.

The other seiyuu arrived and he was surprised that Shimono was voicing one of the main characters. He was really dejected.

After the recording in which Kaji only had three lines to say, he stayed behind since Shimono invited him to go for a drink. Shimono was still talking to the director.

While waiting outside, he was surprised that (L/N) (F/N) approached him.

"We meet again" she bowed down, smiling towards him "I never expected that you are a seiyuu. Again, I am (L/N) (F/N)"

"Even though you know Morikubo-san?" Kaji chuckled, then noticed her face became confused "I saw you once when you went to the agency. I asked him, and he said that you are the cousin of his wife. I am Kaji Yuki, nice to meet you, sensei"

"Ahh... Yes... I am... Please call me nornally" she shyly replied "I am knew in this kind of thing, and I still can't remember their names"

"But I am surprised you remember me. We only met once, and we coincidentally met here"

"Ah, yeah... Uhm... eeto..." she looked away, and it was obvious that she was hesitating to say it.

"Just say it"

"Can you audition for the main character? They talked to me, and they were planning to make an anime for it!"

"Eh, me? Why me?" Kaji pointed at himself in disbelief and she nodded.

In serious voice she answered, "because I think that your voice is fit to the character! I have a feeling that you will portray him perfectly. Your voice, is perfect for the story"
