"So I'll cook beet and carrot soup for Zero" I stood up and looked at Jun-san. He was looking away and he was obviously trying to hide his face that was pure red because of embarrassment. However, I found it cute and I couldn't help but laughed. The truth was, Jun-san heat up the chicken broth that was cooked last week. Though Zero ate it, his stomach couldn't handle it. And now, Jun-san was so embarrassed that he made a big fuss over it. Well, I couldn't blame him. Zero is so important to him.

"S-sorry" he said in low voice and I just shook my head

"I think I need to start teaching you how to cook a simple soup, in which you and Zero can eat" I chuckled "I'll go and buy the ingredients and also buy medicine for his constipation."

"Please let me do it"

"No, I will go this time. Since I need to make sure of the medicine." I answered then went to the dining table "Also, somehow I feel responsible for not mentioning about this. Sure people can eat food that were cooked and preserved on the freezer, dogs can't. You just can't heat them up."

"Sorry, I really don't know anything about foods. I thought that we could still eat that"

"Well you can, not for Zero" I commented then got the left chicken broth and put it on a plastic bag. "Then I'll throw this as I go out. Oh, and I will also buy ingredients for chicken broth since it is easy to cook for Zero. And, I will also buy ingredients for gyudon and oyakodon."

"Eh, why?"

"I'll teach you those three dishes, gyudon, oyakodon and chicken broth soup. They are easy to cook. At least you need to cook simple dish, Jun-san" I folded my arms and it seemed like I was preaching him "In this, you need to find a girlfriend that can cook for you. You are still young"

"You are right. I need to find a wife actually. I'm already 43 and I still don't know how to cook. Wait, then at least use my card to buy those ingredients and the medicine" he said then run towards his room

"You don't need to. Don't just let your things used by other people" I shouted but he ran back and handed his card "I can use mine" I blinked fast then looked straight at him "Wait, did you say your age is 43?"

"I trust (F/N)-chan so it is fine. And yes, I am 43, why?"

"YOU ARE KIDDING, RIGHT?!" I shouted and obviously the most mind blow information from Jun-san. He didn't look like 43 at all!

"What's wrong?" he curiously asked and I just shook my head "Do I look young?" the way he asked was so energy sapping, and it was so flirtatious.

"Please don't tease me" I said as my face turned red. I grabbed his card and immediately ran out of the house.

It was no use, why do I need to be weak from that kind of action and voice?!

I hurriedly brought the ingredients needed and also went to the clinic to buy the medicine for Zero.

Once I came back, I found Jun-san caressing Zero's back. Zero was indeed so important to him.

"Welcome back, (F/N)-chan" he greeted

"I-I'm back." I wonder how many years since someone greeted me that "I'll prepare the beet and carrot soup first then I'll teach you how to cook gyudon and oyakodon." I said then headed to the kitchen.

Indeed I said that, but I was too conscious while preparing Zero's food

"Uhm, Jun-san, please go to the living room and watch any program instead. I feel so conscious from your stare!" I said and sighed. Why does he need to watch me from behind?! I heard him chuckled and I glared at him "What?!"

"Now to think of it. It is my first time watching you while cooking. I only think of this scene to happen, but I didn't know that it would really happen" he answered

"Huh?! I don't get what you mean, Jun-san"

"I am actually happy that someone is cooking for me and Zero. I would eat all the foods that were cooked for me, but of course, I love to see the person while cooking it" Ah, his voice was so seductive! Why does he need to say it that way?! "I am happy that the one cooking food for us is (F/N)-chan"

"Jun-san, you sure can handle anyone with your words, don't you?" I commented as I turned off the boiling soup.

"Hehe, do I?" For real, what a seductive voice!

"Here, please stir it so that it is not that hot when Zero drink it" I put the bowl of beet and carrot soup in front of Jun-san and then went to get Zero. He was really down "Zero, make sure to finish the soup, okay? Then you need to drink the medicine after. Do not worry, you will like the medicine. But you will fall asleep after taking it" I explained as I carried him to the dining table

"You are fit to be a mother, (F/N)-chan" this guy here, no this old man here really! He sure says anything he wants!

"Jun-san, you sure can get any woman with your words" I sighed and put Zero down on the table "Plus, I think Jun-san is also like a father to Zero." I smiled at Jun-san and added "I think we need to take care of our pets like our own child. They also have life. And Jun-san, you take care of Zero on your own way"

He agreed and then fed a half-full spoon of soup to Zero "If I can get any woman with my words, then I am not having a problem with foods, right?"

"Ah you are right"

"Oi, you just agreed easily! I still have my fans you know" he retorted and shook my head

"Well, fans are indeed important. But if you find someone that you like then it will be a different matter. You'll know what I mean when you feel that extraordinary feeling" I explained then went to the sink "I'll wash these things first. After drinking the medicine, Zero will fall asleep. Then I'll teach you how to cook Gyudon for now"

Time passed and Zero fall asleep because of the medicine. Jun-san carefully put him to his room and went back to the kitchen.

"Let's start then"

"Yes, so please wash your hands first then put on the apron" I told him then gave the apron to him "I'll tell you what to do"

He made a big wide smile and immediately washed his hands.

Jun-san followed my instruction perfectly and as days passed, I let him cook those simple dishes. Zero's health became stable and he became lively again

"Jun-san, here's the spare key again" I said as I handed the key to him. Since Zero's health became stable again, my job was again done

"Uhm, actually, I know that this might be troublesome. But, can you go here and look after Zero? It is fine if you don't go every day, but at least when I need to come home late" he was scratching his cheeks and then I felt Zero cuddling on my feet. "Of course I will pay your hour. Also, I would like to learn more dishes"

I looked at Zero and he was going around my feet then he barked. I chuckled in response and crouched down to pat Zero's head "I decline" I answered then looked at Jun-san who was surprised to my response "Well that is my answer if you are going to pay. I am glad to look after Zero and teach you." I chuckled and gave him a big wide smile

"No, rather than pay, (F/N)-chan, will you be-" but before he finished it, the phone rang and he was interrupted

I wonder what he was about to say

"Hey, I heard that after your work here, you are heading to Suwabe-san's place? Don't tell me you two are dating?" Kimiko-san teasingly told me as I cleaned the cage of the bunnies "Father told me that when he saw Suwabe-san one time, he said that you are not just looking after Zero but also Suwabe-san"

"Of course not. Jun-san is kind enough to let me look after Zero as part of my training" I answered but Jun-san's figure back flowed on my head as I remembered his manly stature while cooking, while taking care of zero, and also not to mention his voice while talking to me

"Your face is so red." she chuckled then slapped me playfully "Don't deny it, you like him don't you? When I first saw him, I also fall in love with him. Definitely his voice" I nodded in agreed "But he seemed can get any girls he want from his voice. Not to mention his anime characters perfectly fit to his flirtatious voice. Well, also there were villains but still you know, seiyuu really can make any anime characters great by just using their voice" she explained and sighed "There are seiyuu also with good-looking face, but then they are too old for us"

"True, Jun-san is already an old man, but then if he can get any girl he wants then he should have at least a girlfriend by now. No, I mean at least a wife" we both chuckled but became silence when someone entered the clinic

"I'll go. After cleaning that you may go to Suwabe-san's place." She was enjoying teasing me

Again today, I needed to go to Jun-san's place since he would be out until 9 pm. Before going there, I stopped to buy some condiments. Since some were already gone.

However, once I arrived in his house, the door was slightly open and a heavy feeling immediately formed on my chest

"I have a bad feeling about this" I hurriedly went inside and saw no sign of Zero. I put down my things once I entered the house and anxiously called Zero. But no response from him.

I even entered Jun-san's room but Zero wasn't there. I searched for my phone and it seemed I left it in the clinic.

I ran outside and searched Zero. I even asked others but they didn't see him.

I search and search and loudly called him, but Zero was nowhere to be found.

What should I tell to Jun-san?! I should go straight here after my work.

After hours of searching, I went back to Jun-san's place but I couldn't open the door. I was so dishearten by the fact that Zero was missing. I couldn't even call Jun-san to inform this. I didn't know what to do in this kind of situation.

I fall on my knees as I cried out.

I was so pathetic!

"(F/N)-chan?!"

"J..un-s..an" I was obviously quivering and my voice couldn't come out properly. How should I tell him?!

"What's wrong?!" he hurriedly crouched down and hugged me "(F/N)-chan?"

"Zero, Zero is missing, Jun-san"

"Ah, about that" I looked at him and stopped whining from his low response "I actually forgot to message you this morning that my manager would get Zero so you don't need to go here"

"B-but, the door was open-, eh?"

"Zero is fine. My manager just forgot to lock the door. I apologize for this"

Tears started to run down again on my eyes and this time, it was tears of relief. "R-really? Thank goodness!"

"(F/N)-chan, I am happy that you care too much for Zero" he hugged me tightly and I could feel his breath on my neck. It was so warm, Jun-san was so warm. "Thank you very much. You really are a true veterinarian"

I shook my head and moved back to look at Jun-san. "I was so pathetic. I didn't even know what to do when I found him nowhere" tears again ran down on my cheeks and I was really depressed by what just happened.

"You don't need to be so depressed to what happened, (F/N)-chan. It was also my mistake for not messaging you and also my manager for not closing the door. You are a great veterinarian." His words and voice was really amazing. By just saying that, my chest became lighter. "So please smile, (F/N)-chan"

"Thank you, Jun-san." I chuckled, now it reminds me "Where is Zero now? And why did your manager get him?"

"Ah, Zero's new clothes arrived and they needed to fit it to him. But I have work so I asked my manager to get him. They are on their way back here"

I sighed loudly and chuckled "Thank goodness, Zero is fine"

"But somehow I am jealous"

I looked at Jun-san and it was then my eyes just widened once I felt Jun-san's lips on top of mine. Eh?!

He pulled back and grinned at me

"J-Jun-san, that? Just now? Eh?!"

"Neh, (F/N)-chan, instead of just being a regular veterinarian looking after Zero, will you be my girlfriend? You mentioned, the woman that I will like will be a different matter compare to my fans. Now my hearts is beating so fast. I can relate now to the characters I voiced. Just being with you I am happy. Now (F/N)-chan, can you take responsibility for this irregularities? (F/N)-chan, I love you" He made a big wide smile and helped me to stand up. "You don't need to answer now, you can answer later"

After saying that, Zero and his manager arrived saving me from answering his question.

But honestly, I was so happy. If I looked at myself on the mirror, I could see myself as red as tomato. My heart was beating crazy! 

"Then here, Zero's new clothes and dinner. Also, your schedule for next month. I need to go back to the agency, so I'll be going now. Make sure to be there on time tomorrow" His manager seemed so busy that after handing Zero he briefly explained things, then left.

Zero barked once he noticed me and immediately jumped towards me.

"Now, now" I chuckled "Sure you are lively, Zero" I said patting his head. He licked my cheeks and his tail was wagging lively.

"Let's go inside first"

Jun-san opened the door and let me enter first

"Ah, (F/N)-chan, actually" I looked at him curiously and somehow he was killing me with his smile "Forget about giving the answer later, from now on you are my girlfriend, okay? Now, let's go inside and celebrate"

I was stunned from what he said and my senses just returned when I heard Zero barked and wagged his tail on my face

EHHHH?! Without waiting on my response, I became Jun-san's girlfriend!
