"Just what on earth?!"

Not just Satou-kun, but even I was surprised from what I was seeing. The foods and refreshments we were receiving multiplied. Addition to that, there were materials for crafts and even for games.

I knew Hirakawa-san was the one responsible for this, but to this extent? Was this because of what happened yesterday? There were names from other senders and Chelia immediately said that they were seiyuu names.

"Daichi-kun" I sat down beside him as he was reading a book. "Hirakawa-san, will he pick you up today?"

He shook his head and smiled "his manager will pick me up today. He has an event today so I will be waiting for him in his house"

"Do you always wait for him alone?" He nodded and as I still wanted to ask more, there was a call for me. I needed to talk to Hirakawa-sensei about this one.

"Sensei"

Somehow my heart jumped out in surprise hearing his gentle voice on the other side of the phone.

"Hirakawa-san?"

"Yes, it is me. Until what time is the day care today?"

"Until 6 pm" I answered and there was a silence on his side "Hirakawa-san? Is there any problem?"

"Ah, sorry. Actually, I cannot pick up Daichi today so I asked my manager to pick him up but he cannot go either."

"I see. I fully understand your worries" I chuckled "then I'll look after Daichi-kun. We cannot stay in the Day Care for so long so if it is okay to you, I will let him stay in my place. It is near here so you can pick him up there"

"Really? Is it okay?"

"Yes, I will take responsible for him. Also, ah no. In any case, I will look after him so don't worry."

"Thank you very much. Then will it be okay if I get your personal number so I can contact you after my work? Also please send me your address"

I told him my address and it was then he was called for standby. He thanked me and hurriedly hang out. Not long after I received a message and I knew that it was from Hirakawa-san

I headed back to where Daichi was and told him about it. He got too excited and easily agreed. I also told the head teacher. At first she was worried, but as I explained to her the situation, she finally gave me permission

Wait a minute! I was so anxious! I easily gave my address to Hirakawa-san. My heart won't calm down. Also! You forgot to tell him about the foods!

Later that day, we stopped by the market to buy ingredients for dinner. Daichi-kun was so excited and I found out that it was his first time going to supermarket.

I cooked nikujyaga for dinner and I was happy that he liked it.

"Nee-san, I'm home!" On the kitchen's door, my younger sister tilted her head and blinked as she looked at Daichi "illegimate child?"

"He's not." I shouted immediately "Daichi-kun, she's my younger sister, (sis name). He is Hirakawa Daichi, a new kid from my work. His guardian cannot pick him up in time so I suggested to pick him up here instead"

"Is that so? Then that explains the man standing outside the door"

I hurriedly ran out of the house and saw Hirakawa-san outside the house, walking back and forth with worried face.

"Hirakawa-san?!"

"Ah, sensei. So I got the right address. Thank goodness."

I got my phone from my pocket and I just realized that he sent a mail an hour ago that he was on his way.

"Hirakawa-san, don't tell me...? I apologize!"

"Ah, Dai-san!" Daichi called him and grabbed his hand "sensei cooked a very delicious food. Let's eat first inside before going home"

"Eh, but-"

"Let's go Hirakawa-san, I cooked lots so don't worry."

Without waiting for his response, I let him in and he bowed down. "Sorry for intruding"

I led him on the kitchen and served him the dinner I cooked. He humbly accepted the food and I was glad that he liked it

"Sensei's food is very delicious. I'm glad that I got a chance to eat it"

"Nee-san always cooked food for the two of us. I am the best experiment for her foods" my sister explained and I didn't know if she was complimenting or complaining.

"Then that makes you lucky since you can eat these everyday" Hirakawa-san chuckled and took a bite "where are your parents by the way? I need to thank them too-"

"Ah, don't worry about them. They are always working so they are not here" I answered and handed him a juice. I felt that he became worried from what I said and I couldn't help but chuckled "it's been like this since my sis' was a new born baby. So erase that frown expression"

He remained silence and just continued eating. We were listening to Daichi's story and also answering his questions.

As time passed, Daichi fall asleep. Hirakawa-san was still waiting for his manager. And while waiting, I let Daichi sleep on the sofa and my sister was doing her homework. Hirakawa-san insisted to help her. I was so busy doing the activities for the kids.

He looked so tired though and still he was so energetic, smiling gently. I stood up and left them to get a tea.

When I returned, they became silent and I felt like they were hiding something. I put down the tea in front of them and narrowed my eyes down to my sister

"You didn't say unnecessary things, right (sis name)?"

"And what will I say?" She asked in monotone and looked at me "I just told Hirakawa-san how boring your life is looking after me and the kids in the day care."

I flinched then heard Hirakawa-san chuckling. I felt embarassed and pouted my lips.

"Well, I'm sorry for being boring. It can't be helped. I love kids."

"We're the same, sensei. But good for you that you have time with them" Hirakawa-san smiled and it was then his phone rang and it seemed like his manager already arrived. I gathered Daichi's things and see them off. Hirakawa-san kept on bowing, showing his gratitude to me.

Ah, my heart won't calm down and good thing that I made a poker face. Wait! I again forgot to tell him about the food!

Oh well,

Once they left, I continued the activities for the next day as my sister was finishing her homework

"Nee-san"

"Hmmm?"

"My teacher asked me to tell you that she will be visiting you to your work one of these days. I think about that again"

"I see. But I will answer the same thing." I answered but stopped when she continued

"Dad also called, and he wanted us to move near their place. They are planning to sell this house"

My head was aching from what my dad's decision. It was already settled and they would be selling the house. They really hated the fact that I chose a path that I like instead of the path they wanted for me.

They wanted me to be an accountant so I graduated as an accountant, but I chose to be a teacher in a day care. Indeed being an accountant could bring lots of money, but I knew that I had no interest to it.

I sighed loudly as I collected the papers scattered on the floor.

"It's really true" I turned around and was surprised seeing Hirakawa-san standing with big wide smile

"Why are you here?!"

"Last time when I went to your house, your sister told me that you will be depressed." That sister of mine! "She told me what happened to you when you were young, that gave you the interest of being a day care teacher. You at least wanted to make the kids be at home when their parents are away working. You don't want them to experience what happened to you. But is that only your reason?"

I gazed away and smiled. True, my interest was because of my own experience. I had no memories of them taking care of me. I was left with my grandma, and when she died, I was seven, I always left alone. Father's secretary attended the parents-teacher conference, and even my graduation. When my sister was born, I made sure that I would look after her. "My primary reason is still because of what happened to me, but teaching is really fun. I realized that ever since I volunteered on this day care. All in one, I love kids, teaching, and at the same time looking after them once their parents leave them here" I chuckled "even though I'm already an adult, I need to follow my parent's order, and-" I was taken a back. My eyes widened as I felt a smooth warm hand held my hand "H-hirawaka-san..?"

"You are trembling, sensei" he said worriedly "are you regretting the decision you chose?" I shook my head and he smiled "you are already in the path that you chose. Then, walk on it with head up high and show them that you don't have any regrets."

"Hirakawa-san... t-that..."

"I liked kids too, and I needed to choose a path where I wouldn't regret. I became a seiyuu, it was hard but I didn't regret being one. So you should also sensei. Be a teacher that you will never regret"

His words pierced inside me, as he said those words to me. We just met recently, and he sincerely telling me those words. I knew it, Hirakawa-san is so kind.

My tears overflow like a kid and cried to him. He laughed at me, but I didn't control. It was because I finally heard the answer I was looking for.

"Hirakawa-san, you are so kind!"

"Don't cry" he laughed as he wiped my tears and gripped my hand tightly "right now, you look like a little kid, sensei. Make sure you don't show that to the children"

"Ah! Dai-san is making (L/N)-sensei cry!"

"They are holding hands!"

"N-no, that's not it!" I was so embarrassed that I freed my hand from Hirakawa-san and hid my face

The kids started to tease us, as Hirakawa-san tried to calm them down. Satou-kun joined the kids on teasing us that made the head teacher curious.

"They finally calm down" I sighed as I sat down, tired from what just happened. I turned to Hirakawa-san and smiled "thank you, for your kind words, Hirakawa-san. Now, my mind is clear. I chose this path, and I will show my parents that I will never regret it."

"I'm glad that you finally smile like you always do, sensei"

"It's because of you Hirakawa-san. I will talk to my parents and tell them my decision."

Later that day, the teacher from my sister's school came and I knew it, they wanted me to be a teacher in their school. I accepted it in one condition, I would only teach morning classes. And unexpectedly they accepted it. Still, I wanted to became a teacher for these kids who were left by their parents.

The next day, I asked for a day off and headed to my father's company. I talked to him. We had an argument, but I stood still to my decision. He agreed in the end when I told him that I became a teacher in my sister's high school.

To my surprise, my sister also came and she even asked him to let us stay in our house. And told them that she didn't want to transfer.

"I see so that happened"

"Yes, Hirakawa-san." I handed him a cup of tea and grinned "I became a teacher in high school, and at the same time I stayed being a teacher here. Also, we don't need to move. All went well"

"Sensei, sensei, sensei!" I turned around and Daichi was running towards me "ah, Dai-san is also here!"

"What is it, Daichi-kun?" I crouched down and smiled towards him

"You see. My mother will come home next week!" He shouted that made my eyes widened "then I will be with her she said"

"Daichi, we're done. Let's go and play!" The other kids called him and left me with Hirakawa-san

I forgot that Daichi would only be here for the meantime. Then, there would be no reason for Hirakawa-san to go here.

"Daichi-kun is so excited to see his mother" I responded as I stood up and chuckled "then we should have a party for Daichi-kun"

"Eh why?" He asked confusedly as he put down his tea cup "Daichi is staying" I blinked fast and looked at him "my sister will be staying in my house for couple of weeks then she will return to America again and leave Daichi in my care."

"Then Hirakawa-san will be going here?" I gasped from what I asked and covered my mouth

Hirakawa-san chuckled and I blushed from his response "yes, sensei. Also, even though Daichi goes to America, I will surely go here and visit sensei and the kids"

His face projected a very bright smile. My heart won't calm down and Chelia was right, I like Hirakawa-san. I just met him recently and yet his kindhearted nature helped me realized things, even my own feelings.

I'll keep this for now. But surely one day soon, I will tell him my own feelings, since I don't want to regret not telling him. I'll enjoy my time knowing him from now on, but one thing Hirakawa-san is pure kindhearted person who really loves kids.
