Mom's Spaghetti

Six days.

Tom had six days. It was making him anxious, but he didn't let Y/n notice it.

"So, where are you taking me today?" Y/n asked as they walked down the street the next morning.

"We're going to rent a car, and drive to Corinth," Tom said, "The first thing we'll stop at is the canal."

"Ooh, that sounds fun," Y/n grinned.

"We're also going to be bungy jumping," Tom said casually.

Y/n stopped walking, "I-I'm sorry, we'll be what?"

"We're going to be bungy jumping at the canal," Tom repeated.

"Right- that's fine," Y/n said, not fine, "I go bungy jumping all the time- in fact, it's my favorite past time. I'm always dying to possibly die, from yeeting myself off of a bridge.

Tom put an arm around her, as they kept walking, "Darling, I promise I'll be right there."

Y/n raised an eyebrow, "Sir, we're not going to be jumping at the same time," she said, "That's not safe."

"I was hoping you weren't going to know that," Tom mumbled.

"Hey, I may be more stupid than other people," Y/n said, "but, I know I have at least three working brain cells."

Tom chuckled, and they walked into a bakery, to grab something to eat while they drove to Corinth.

Once they grabbed their food, they rented a car, and Tom drove them to Corinth, which was an hour away from Athens.

"You know," Y/n said, as they drove, "if you told me three years ago, that I'd be sitting in a car with Tom Holland, in Greece, on our way to go bungy jumping, I would laugh at you."

"If you told me I would be sitting in a car with the most stunning girl, on my way to go bungy jumping," Tom said, "I would have not believed you."

"That's because it hasn't happened yet," Y/n said, shooting finger guns at him.

Tom sighed, "I guess we'll have to jump more than once."

"Nevermind," Y/n said quickly, "forget i said that, please don't make me jump twice."

"I won't," Tom chuckled.

They kept driving, just talking. When, Y/n somehow injured herself.

"Mother trucker dude-" she swore.

"-that hurt like a butt cheek on a stick," Tom finished.

"I miss Vine," Y/n sighed, forgetting about her injury.

"I do too," Tom agreed, "But, how did you get hurt?"

"To be honest," Y/n said, "I'm not sure."

"You're so strange," Tom said.

"I know," Y/n grinned.

After another half an hour, they finally made it to the canal.

Y/n's palms were sweaty again, but this time, she didn't have mom's spaghetti.

"Are you excited?" Tom asked, nudging her.

"Ha- no," Y/n said, wiping her hands on her pants, "Do you remember what happened yesterday?"

"This time, there'll be cords holding onto you," Tom said, "You're not going to fall to your doom."

"Well, if I do," Y/n said dramatically, "If you ever meet Jake Gyllenhaal, tell him that I loved him."

"Just wait till September," Tom said, "and then you can tell him in person."

"Okay, well, I'm not going to live till Sep- wait in person?"

"Yeah, Marvel announced it, and put it on Instagram," Tom said, "Did you not see it?"

Y/n made a strange noise, shaking her head, "Does it look like I saw it?"

"I guess you have a point," Tom said.

"I'm going to meet Jake Gyllenhaal," Y/n whispered to herself.

"If you don't fall to your doom," Tom reminded her.

"Right," Y/n nodded.

They walked into the building, and signed the liability waixers.

Y/n's heart was beating fast, her palms were sweats, her knees week, and her arms felt heavy. However, there was not vomit on her sweatshirt already.

Mom's spaghetti.

Tom put a hand out for her to hold, but she shook her head.

"Mom's spaghetti," she said, and he nodded in understandment.

They got strapped into the harness, which would hopefully keep them safe.

"Y/n and Tom?" a worker asked them.

"That's us," Tom said, with his iconic smile, while Y/n's was more (definitely) an awkward one.

"Your girlfriend seems to be very nervous," the worker noticed, "But it's no worries, we'kk take care of you."

"Er yes," Tom said, "I forgot that she was afraid of heights."

"I'm not scared of heights," Y/n said, "I'm just mildly petrified of falling to my death."

"Don't be worried," the worker smiled, "We assure you that you're in safe hands."

"Thank you," Y/n said, calming down.

All that calming down was for nothing.

They walked out onto the bridge, and Y/n started freaking out again, but being an actor had its perks. Since, on the outside, she looked calm, while on the inside, she had no idea what was happening.

"Y/n?" Tom asked, noticing how calm she looked, "Are you okay?"

"Nope," Y/n smiled," I am not okay."

"Tom raised an eyebrow, "You know you don't have to do this, right?"

"I would have loved to have known that earlier, but I'm already too far in," Y/n said, "I just have to full cent it now."

"That's the spirit," a different worker grinned, "Hi, I'm Jay, and I'll be helping you today."

"Hello," Tom said, shaking his hand, "I'm Tom, and this is Y/n."

"Tom Holland and Y/n L/n," Jay grinned, "It's great to have you here."

"And we're glad to be here," Y/n smiled.

"Glad to hear it," Jay said, the, telling them everything they needed to know.

"Who wants to jump first?" Jay asked.

To both Tom and Y/n's surprise, Y/n raised her hand.

Before she realised what she was doing, she was already standing on the edge of the bridge.

"Tom," she said, her eyes wide, "If I die, tell my family I love them, I love you too, but you'll have to read the most recent note in my phone, if I die."

Tom suppressed a laugh, but nodded, "I will, Love," he said, giving her a small kiss.

"This sack of potato's empty," Y/n said, "yeet."

And just like that, Y/n yeeted herself off of them bridge.

Y/n was too petrified to scream, but oddly, she somewhat enjoyed being in the air. Although, the thought of plumetting to her death still lingered in her brain, apparently having a party with her three brain cells.

"I'm going again," Y/n said, as soon as she got back to the top.

"You loved it?" Tom asked, who thought for sure she was going to hate it.

"It was great," Y/n grinned, "There was something about it, don't know what, but you know what I mean.

"Well, wish me luck," Tom said, jumping off.

After they jumped off another two times, they left, and drove to Ancient Corinth.

They got out, and Y/n was drawn to the Temple of Apollo.

"Ten year old me would be quaking right now," Y/n beamed, "I was the biggest Percy Jackson fan, and to be frank, I still am."

"I didn't know that," Tom said, raising an eyebrow, "You must've been quite the nerd, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Marvel, and musical theater."

"You know it," Y/n laughed, as Tom hugged her from behind.

They walked around Ancient Corinth, while, Y/n was spewing random facts about ancient Greece and Greek mythology.

Tom wasn't going to say it out oud, but he found it very amusing and cute of Y/n, but if she found out, she would start telling Tom it wasn't.

"You know, Athena's always been one of my favorite goddesses," Y/n said, "She's just super cool, way cooler than I could ever be."

"Really?" Tom said, "Zeus has always been my favorite."

Y/n's eyes narrowed, "Why?" she asked, "Zeus is the stupidest of all of them, maybe you need to read Percy Jackson."

"Maybe I do."

"No, you definitely need to."

After they spent an hour looking at Ancient Corinth, they went to Loutraki, a resort town, just off of Corinth.

They went to one of the many famous thermal spas, which meant (to Y/n's dismay) many woman saw Tom shirtless.

"D'you want to go surfing after this?" Tom asked.

"Of course," Y/n grinned.

The only problem was, Y/n had no clue to to actually surf, as she had never been surfing. Utah had a grand total of zero oceans and beaches.

Although, she had been boating many times, and did that kind of "surfing", which didn't really count.

They spent the rest of the day at the beach, spending a good chunk of it surfing, or, Tom teaching Y/n how to, but she got the hand of it eventually.

When it started getting dark, they packed their things, and started the trip back to their Airbnb.

Y/n frowned when they got back, they next day was their last day in Greece, after that, they would be flying to Rome, back to where Y/n and Tom had said their goodbyes, almost exactly three years ago, in fact, it would officially be three years ago in six days.

"I don't want to leave," Y/n frowned, as she got in bed.

"I know you don't, Love," Tom said, pulling her close to him, "I don't want to either.

"You know, it'll be officially be three years since we parted way in Rome, next Friday," Y/n said.

"Oh," Tom said, "I didn't know."

"Well, know you know," Y/n mumbled, quickly falling asleep.
