Chapter Eleven ~ Idina

Saturday Night

"Ladies and gentlemen..." Maya announces

"Introducing Idina Jennings!" Riley says to my mom, Mr. Matthews, Topanga, and Auggie as they wait for me in the Matthews living room. I come out beaming from head to toe. Everyone gasps. Maya and Riley examine their masterpiece.

"We are too good," Maya says in an impressive tone, "Stop it, girl!" She says to me, flipping her hair. Riley and Maya had forced me to tell them my dress and shoe size so they could go out and buy me a birthday outfit. A treat from them for my birthday gift.

"Thank you Devolution," Riley says.

I am wearing a half red and half black dress. A big black and white schemed rose wraps around the dress as a part of the design. I love it. I have on high heeled boots, a golden necklace, red rose earrings, and a black heart ring. Riley painted my nails with a beautiful black design while Maya did my makeup using me smoky blackish navy blue eyeshadow and dark red lipstick. Then Riley picked out a beautiful black hat for me to wear while Maya curled my hair, even though its already naturally wavy, to give it some extra bounce. I hold my striped phone to the side waiting for their opinions.

"Wow honey, you look amazing," My mother says giving me a hug.

"Beautiful," Mr. Matthews says spinning me around.

"Beyonce has nothing on you," Topanga jokes. I smile.

"You look very pretty Idina," Auggie says, walking up to me, "Happy Fifteenth Birthday!" I bend down to give him a hug. Then stand back up.

"Thanks, everyone," I smile, "Maya and Riley, you guys look beautiful too. Thanks for making me feel like a princess," I see Riley and Maya stand up from the couch, smiling, and motioning me to come to the door towards them. They both look beautiful as well.

"You're the star tonight, we're just your posse," Maya says.

"But we're also your best friends, and we'll be right here, always" Riley finishes, and we hug each other.

Riley's wearing a purple dress with a black shirt underneath it, printed leggings, boots, and her naturally wavy hair.

Maya is wearing a striped dress over a black long sleeve turtleneck, black chunky high heels, and has her hair straightened.

"Thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Matthews! Bye Augs! Bye, Mom!" I shout before Maya and Riley pull me out the door to the stairs towards the roof.

"Ready for an amazing night?" Maya asks once we reach the rooftop entrance.

"Hope you're in for a shocker," Riley says, I'm about to ask why, but before I can say anything Maya opens the door, and...

"SURPRISE!!!"
