Part 3: Croxley Observatory & SPANA HQ
EXPLORE THE SKIES!
At Croxley Observatory, three large historic telescopes offered a unique way to experience the awe and wonder of the Universe. It housed three telescopes on its observatory deck: Lonesome Dove, Skylark and Aurora .
Lonesome Dove, Croxeley's most powerful telescope, is a 36 inch reflector telescope that is housed in a rolling roof observatory that allows access to 180 degrees of sky. This modern, research-quality telescope offers breathtaking views of the cosmos.
The impressive 20 inch telescope, named Skylark, is an optical telescope that uses a lens as its objective to form an image. It is used as a spy glass and has a long-focus camera lens that allows an astronomer to seek foreign images in the universe.
Its companion, Aurora, is an 8 inch optical telescope. It is named this way as it represents the word"dawn," and calls upon the images of the otherworldly aurora borealis.
Three astronomers: Dr. Silas Cider, Dr. Nelson Fields and Dr. Margaret Jones, used these observatories daily to collect light from natural objects in space.

Using the Skylark, Dr. Silas Cider, discovered a new celestial object hidden in view among the stars. He had never seen a more optical view of the heavenly body through the many telescopes he had employed and was baffled on why this fleck of an atom has never been located till now. Like a new star or Halley's comet, the orbit might have been only visible to the naked eye at the time.
Asking Dr. Margaret Jones, and Dr. Nelson Fields to join him, they each took turns in utilizing each telescope to view the new orbit. In this way, they could verify if the unknown planet In this way, they could verify if the unknown planet was within an atmosphere where humankind could build a second space station.
Hoping that their ideas would one day come true, they employed the help of SPANA headquarters.

The Space Aeronautic s Agency (SPANA) is a government agency that is responsible for researching scientific facts related to space and other universal anomalies. The agency is also in charge of sending humans to explore beyond the moon, Mars and to other planets that many only can view through telescopes.
Earlier, SPANA's head administrator, Garreth Lewis, was contacted by Dr. Cider and his team via a visual communications platform known as Moon. The trio shared their findings with the administrator and discussed if it was possible if he and his team could send a group of people to venture in the unknown orbit that they now call Decaorb as they believed it to be the 10th planet away from the sun.
Despite the arguments they had, Mr. Lewis and his team agreed in making the astronomer's ideas come true. However, Mr Lewis had other plans. As conniving as he was, the administrator asked his staff to not send astronauts to the unknown orbit. Lewis trusted every astronaut his agency hired was fit for the job. Therefore, he knew sending humans farther than Pluto was risky. Hence, he hatched a plan to send prisoners, people dumb enough to take the bait.
Signing a deal with Iron Heights prison, Mr. Lewis and the SPANA team proposed a plan they eventually called "Project Ace', due to the fact that they wanted to fool people into believing that it was an important task.
The warden in Iron Heights selected fresh faces; prisoners who were barely new to their cells. And they were quite talkative, almost complaining daily about how they were innocent while two of them were criminals at large.
Marti Wade, Harley Grendel, Roman Steiner, Bonnie Ackles and Clyde McCarthy were selected due to this planetary fate!
