Troubled inside

We pray for peace

Then wonder why

War does not cease

Inside is fear

And anger too

Emotion boils

Frustration stew

To create peace

Must look inside

And root out fears

We multiplied

Replace with love

Compassion pours

Walk on love's path

And hear Hope's roars

And when we reach

Our inner peace

Then we can teach

The steps of peace
