Silence is where soft whispers grow

To help me find an inner flow

Where answers sprout into my thoughts

An shed some light on my blind spots

I drain turmoil; let mind release

And feel the ebb of inner peace

I let my darkness fill with light

And let hope's breath fill me with might

So as the holidays unfurl

I'll step aside from season's swirl

Sit in quiet on holiday eve

And give my thanks for love's warm weave
