Chapter 12

I put my arm around Liam's waist as we sung. As we finished, we all cheered. Everybody was talking and having a great time and Liam pulled me to the side. "Are you alright babe? You've acted like you were upset about something...Was that why you called me?" "Um yeah...but I'm fine now." "Babe? What happened? You can tell me." "It's fine Liam." "Mitchie I've known you for 21 years now. What's wrong?" "You'd get mad at me..." "Whatever it is I'm sure I can get over it babe...just tell me." I sighed and looked at him in the eyes. "I um...me and Niall maybe...we've been secretly dating." His eyes filled with tears. "Why?! Why would you do this?!" "Babe, I'm sorry...I just had to know..." "We'll talk about that later, but what did he do?!" "I had been feeling guilty about the whole thing and he kissed me...I tried to get away, but he pulled me back. I kept on trying and he never would let go. That's when I yelled for you. He was really scaring me...I don't know what he was going to do if I didn't..." "But he was back there with us..." "He took off running when I yelled." Liam nodded and looked mad. "I'll go deal with him." "I didn't mean to make you mad babe...I'm sorry." "It's okay...just, stay with Perrie and Loki." I nodded and walked over to Perrie. "Niall? Could I talk to you man?" "Um yeah sure." I watched them walk off and I sat against the wall, my face in my hands, crying. "What's wrong?" Louis asked, sitting beside me. "I-I had to tell him Lou...N-Niall scared me...I think he was going to h-hurt me if I didn't s-stay with him..." He patted my back. "It'll be okay." I nodded and felt something beside me. I looked up to see Loki with his bone. I laughed lightly and placed him in my lap. I pet him and so did Louis. "I miss my dog back home..." "I never knew you had a dog Lou! What's your dog's name?" "Ted. He was a wolfhound...I really liked him but I don't see him much anymore." I nodded and played with Loki's ears. Liam came back out and I saw Niall walk out, blood on his nose. Liam walked over to me, and pulled me up. "Babe, we'll talk about that later. Right now, we'll just act like nothing happened. Okay?" He whispered in my ear. I nodded and hugged him. "I'm soo sorry baby." "Just-later." I nodded. The rest of the party was awkward. So was the ride home. So was when we walked in and Niall had an ice pack on his face. Just to sum it up, it was awkward most of the day. "Mitchie, let's go talk." I bit my lip as we walked upstairs. I sat on the bed and he just stared at me, thinking things through. "I just-ugh....why? Why did you cheat to begin with?!" "I wanted to know if he could treat me better...he had always been so sweet and when he told me he loved me..." "When did you start dating?" "3 days ago...after I had said 'I love you' and you didn't respond...I felt-I don't know...it made me have doubts. He had told me he loved me multiple times, and took care of me whenever I had been crying..." "Mitchie! You know I love you!" "Why didn't you say anything then?" "I didn't hear you babe. I would've said it back. You know that." I put my head down and cried. I felt so bad. I hurt him. I cheated on him with his best friend. "I am a horrible person." I sobbed. He sighed and sat beside me. "No you're not. He used you. He knew you were vulnerable at the time and used his charm to win you over." I hugged him tightly. I don't deserve him. I never will. He's just so kind, caring and understanding. "I'm soo sorry Li...I really am...I wasn't even thinking." He sighed again and kissed me. "I love you...nothing will change that. I'm a little upset, but I'll get over it soon enough. I can always forgive you babe." "I love you too." I cried in his arms. "I don't deserve you. You're too forgiving." He laid us back and I got closer to him. The door opened, and I looked up to see little Loki prancing over. "C'mon Loki." He jumped onto the bed and settled between us. "We're a strong couple you know that? I think it's because we've been friends for so long." I nodded and kissed him. "I'm ready for bed." "Me too babe..." I got out of bed and walked over to my clothes. I took off my pants and grabbed some shorts. I put them on while Liam was changing. I changed my shirt as well, and laid on the bed. "I'm so sorry." "Babe, it's fine. Just forget about it." I nodded and laid my head on his chest. "I love you soo much." "I love you too."

*'Jacob, please don't!' He pointed the gun at me and shot my shoulder. I cried out in pain. 'Leave her alone!' Jacob turned and before he could tackle Jacob, he was shot. 'NO!! Liam!!'*

"LIAM!!" "Babe what's wrong?" I looked over to see shirtless Liam in bed beside me. I sighed and wrapped my arms around him. "What happened babe?" "I-I had a nightmare...W-When you tried to s-stop J-Jacob, he shot you...I was d-devastated..." "Ohh babe...I'm right here. Everything is okay. Look at me." I did as I was told and looked him in the eyes. "I will never leave you okay?" I nodded slowly. "I love you babe." "I love you too Mitchie." He kissed me sweetly. I kissed him back and we started making out. When we finally pulled away, I spoke up. "Babe, I don't know why I even did that...I was so stupid...I love you soo much." He smiled and kissed my head. "I love you too babe. How about when we get up, we have an 'us' day?" "I'd love that." I smiled as I snuggled closer to his bare chest.
