Coffee
Yoongi's Point Of View
I put my pen down and opened my bedroom door to reveal Jin. "Yoongi do you want to go get coffee or something?" He asked me. Why is he wanting to go get coffee with me? Especially when his son is my soulmate. I looked at him perplexed and stated, "Jin I'm flattered but uh, Jimin is my soulmate. I don't know if he'd approve of it." It took him second to realize what he had said. "No! Yoongi, I meant do you want to get out of this house? It's starting to make me feel trapped and helpless just sitting in here. I'm going to go insane if I don't do something." He further explained.
Oh okay so this isn't a date thing. Eh what's the worst that can happen? "Sure, I haven't had coffee in far too long!" I exclaimed as I ran back to grab my wallet. I walked back to Jin and we descended the stairs. Once we both got our shoes on we walked outside, towards a quaint café.
When we got there Jin questioned out of the blue,"Yoongi, what does Hoseok look like?" I looked around the café to check if he was here. Why is it that every time one of us go out to eat we run into an ex?
"Dyed red hair, he's usually in leather because he's "the school's bad boy." I mean so am I but he's playing the act way too fake to take seriously. He's an inch or two taller than I am." Once I finished describing Hoseok a fire lit in Jin's eyes. "Jin, leave him. If you fight with him you can still go to jail. He's still a minor." I quickly spoke.
"Just because I can't fight him physically does not mean I can't sue him. Yoongi, I'm a lawyer. I know what I can and can't do and loopholes. How long is it until he is eighteen?" He questioned again. "About a month." I replied. Jin swiftly rose from his seat and walked to Hoseok with a fake smile on his face. I couldn't tell what they were talking about exactly but I had a fair idea.
Jin's Point Of View
So the imbecile who put my precious son Jimin in the hospital is this frail kid? He doesn't really look like he could hurt someone. I guess the high school has severely decreased in quality over the past two decades.
I briskly walked over to Hoseok and sat down across from him. "Excuse me but are you Jung Hoseok?" I asked with an unbelievably fake smile on my face. "Who's asking?" He spoke with a cold voice, trying and failing to cover up his immense amount of fear. Kids these days can't even keep up their façades! Haha!
"I'm Kim Seokjin, I'm a lawyer." I said then gave a slight pause before continuing speaking, "I'm also Jimin's father. You know Jimin is currently in the hospital in a coma right? You know he died on the operation table once before they revived him right? And I'd assume you also know Yoongi over there. This can be tried as repeated assault, a misdemeanor, and the attempted murder of Park Jimin. You have three people who will attest against you in court. I truly can't wait for us to meet again, Hoseok. Make sure you bring a suit, the judges really dislike people being under dressed in their courts. The date will be a week after your birthday, just to make sure you can be tried as an adult and no longer as a minor. Have a nice day!" I exclaimed before returning to Yoongi.
"So Yoongi, are you ready to order?" I asked as I looked down at the menu. "What did you tell Hoseok? He looks horrified!" Yoongi exclaimed before he slightly chuckled. "I'll just have a black coffee and a muffin." He finished. I walked up to the register and ordered his coffee and muffin and my latte. I payed for them and walked back, being careful not to drop anything.
I made it to the table successfully. We then decided to walk to the park so neither of us attacked Hoseok. Once we made it to a bench we sat down and we slowly consumed our drinks, looking over the lake at the beautiful sunset.
"Yoongi what do you think is going to happen with Jimin? He's all I have left, I can't lose him too! Jisoo came back but is a horrible person, NamJoon thinks I'm a liar, and my parents can't stand me. If anything happens to him, I'm done for!" I began to cry at the thought of Jimin leaving me completely alone.
Yoongi looks over at me surprised that I broke his train of thought. "Jin, all we can do is hope for the better, right? If we lose hope then what else is left? Nothing. We just have to hold on and hope Jimin does too. When he does wake up he will be able to see in full color now, and not just in shades of red." Yoongi replied after a moment of thinking.
Hes right! We as a human race have to hold on to hope. We have to hold on for the future. But what if Jimin does die? He's the only family I have. He's all I have left. Oh my god he's the only person I have left! Everyone else left me. God I really need to make better friends, don't I?
