Annie it would turn out would not make her way to Clint straight away. It would probably end up to be a good thing that she was stopped but that would be something she may only understand later on. For it would appear she was stopped by both Tony and Captain America who wished to speak to her further regarding what they had seen at the Hydra Base in Sokovia. 

"I do not understand what I could possibly add to your understanding." Annie spoke as she looked mainly at Tony. The man was significantly smarter than she was and should have been able to work out whatever it was that was puzzling the two men. However, part of her was happy for the distraction from her own troublesome thoughts. Something to take away the urge she felt to go and show Natasha just how much pain she was currently in. 

"We're not sure how Strucker got the two enhanced on their side, we cannot seem to find any evidence other than them signing up for some medical trials." Captain America spoke and Annie felt herself pale immediately at her words. The two mutants the team had met on the field had signed up for 'medical trials'. She knew exactly what it sounded like. But she could not confirm as she had not see the inside of the base herself. But that was something she could ammend. 

"I need to see the inside of the Hydra base." Annie did not give away as to why she needed to see the inside but she was sure the urgency to see so was more than obvious. 

"That's kind of difficult we blew most of it up." Tony spoke gently as he caught onto the panic she had suddenly started to present with. A complete 180 in mood to how he had found her just minutes prior. 

"Memories, I need someone's memories. Please Tony." Annie wished she did not sound so desperate, but if her suspicions were correct Hydra were doing something she had thought to be long since finished with. 

"Take a breather Annie, just some deep breathes you can look in mine. Find whatever has you so caught up." Tony spoke in the same manner he had heard Pepper talk to him when he suffered anxiety attacks. Seeing it on someone else, was as scary as witnessing it himself. 

"Seat. We need to be seated." Annie's words remained rushed and full of the anxiety she was sure was going to give her whiplash from such a harsh change in emotions. She felt as she was guided to two chairs by the computer in the room. The hand of which guided her belonging to the team leader. 

"Do whatever you need to Annie." Tony was trying to feel confident though he was not sure what to expect. He had never seen her do whatever it was she did in order to access someone's memories. He had heard that she had done it beforehand, that her telepathic abilities were not overly developed but were safe. And it was his trust in her which allowed him to undergo this. 

"It should not hurt, and I'll try to only look for what I need." Annie went to grasp onto his Arm and Tony braced himself for what was to come. 

Both Tony and Annie were pulled into the moment that he landed in the Hydra Base. 

"Sentry Mode. Okay, Jarvis you know I want it all. Make sure you copy Hill at HQ." Past Tony spoke as he went to look around the room of which they had entered. 

Tony could only watch his previous self knowing what was to come and not looking forward to what he potentially was going to see next. Though he wondered where Annie had gone. His answer was given to him quickly as he scanned the room to see Annie staring at one of the doors in the corridor. Tony was not aware he had even clocked anything of importance on those doors, not sure he had even taken account of what they had been labelled with. But it would seem they had as Annie focused hard on the doors, almost frozen in place. 

"I know you're hiding more than files. Hey J, give me an IR scan of the room, real quick." Past Tony continued. 

Annie would appear to move to watch the IR scan and where Tony had once focused on the room which held the sceptre. She appeared focused on something else and his eyes watched her focus on what scientific equipment they had laying around in the two rooms, the dentist styled chair and the large metal crates. Though as he braced to relive the moment he touched the sceptre Tony found himself very violently removed from his own memories and return to the lab. 

"It was as I feared." Annie spoke and Tony once again drew his attention to his young friend. Wondering just what had troubled her so deeply. 

"I must make a very important phone call. You need to try to understand as much about the two 'enhanced' as possible. Things are not as they seem." Annie did not elaborate much more with them seeming too focused on this person she needed to call. 

"Summer's you cannot leave without explaining this. Something has you spooked and we need answers. You are talking as though things are grave here, elaboration is required." Captain America spoke and Tony could only look between the two, he knew just how much Annie admired the super soldier, Clint had let it slip that the man was Annie's idol growing up and that the young girl was upset to find that Steve was just a chemically enhanced man after all. 

"Those two were not enhanced in the same manner as you were Captain. They were late developers, who entered a programme I thought we had finally ended." Annie then went to leave again the room in order to make the phone call she deemed of such high importance. Tony wished to be able to maintain his friends privacy, but his need to understand and the fear of what could happen to his teammates made it so that he used Jarvis in order to listen into the conversation. 

"Professor it's me. No my vacation is not going well, but you knew that already you knew this call was coming. We found a Project X base, it appears to not be alone. They have been successful in two but at what cost has this success had." Annie's disembodied voice as Jarvis played it in real time to the two co leaders seemed as anxious as she had been in the lab. 

"I understand, I will continue this task and then attempt to hunt them out. Introduce them to our world and perhaps end this suffering, make them know they are not alone. Perhaps they will know of the other bases that Project X was operating in. How many children are involved." Tony had heard enough as he ended the Jarvis spy system and turned to Steve beside him. He was not unaware of what Project X was, he had found files about it. And Tony knew why his friend was so concerned. He just hoped that at some point she would come clean to them all and ask for their help.
