A sky full of stars
It did not take long for Steve to organise a plane to get the four stranded people back to America. He had many a contacts it would seem and in a few hours Annie had flown them back to America and back to the Avengers Tower. She quickly excited the plane and headed in the direction she assumed Clint would be in. She knew Clint would already been on the lookout for anything which would give them an idea as to where Natasha was. And she would have to break it to him that he was unable to offer any more help. Not with such a broken mind link between the pair. She had only been able to developed her telekinesis to a class 2 much further behind the rest of her mutations and therefore even if the distance had not been in the way she was not going to be able to provide much more assistance from that side. What she could do was go through the old spy channel communication methods and see if there was anything there. After all two sets of eyes and ears were better than one even if both of hers were pretty shot.
Upon finding Clint, who was just a little below the main part of the lab Annie looked around to see what he was doing. The man was looking through channels trying to find anything that seemed a little too much out of place and a signal from Natasha. She gently walked up to sit beside him, not wanting to interrupt his concentration when he might actually find something. Though he quickly moved his attention away the moment Annie had arrived to look at the woman. He tilted his head in a silent question as to ask her what was going on but all he got was a shrug in response.
"It's old school only Clint." Annie informed him as she took a second pair of headphones to listen into the radio. But before she could he placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You've got nothing?" He asked just to be sure only to get a small grimace in response.
"The mind link is almost null and void. Not the same as when you were under mind control nor when she locked me out. It's there but barely." Annie explained as best as she could but it was hard for her to explain really. She had only formed the mind link a handful of times as she grew up and this had never happened before. Not even when her mother had returned as the Phoenix even then there had been a link she could manipulate.
"Guess we're back to old school." But before Clint could do any more his eyes tracked a blue blur from just above in the lab. He was quick to grab his gun and shoot towards the clear glass ceiling which separated the part where they were and the people above. And with the broken glass did Pietro fall through.
"What you didn't see that coming?" Clint spoke as he reiterated the familiar words the mutant had said to him a few days prior of which had been rampant in his head. Annie knew that.
Soon enough their attention was drawn back to the events which were occurring in the lab above as a small fight broke out only for Thor to reappear from wherever he had gone when he had been at the farmhouse. The god using the lightning hammer he always carried to charge the cradle of which remained centre stage in the fighting which was going on around them. And from out the cradle came an animated figure with the only question being whether he would be friend or foe. And time would only tell with that question.
But as the team argued about what was going on and more fighting occurred there was something on the radio. Annie quickly ventured over to it ensuring that no transmission was missed from their missing team member. And sure enough she was able to grab the coded message. The key word she was able to get was a place.
Sokovia.
Back to where it had all started for them. Only here was to hoping that this time around that things went a little more smoothly.
But Annie should have known that smoothly was not a thing that would occur when the Avengers were called in. And she had to stop and pause to look at the stark differences which occurred when she was with either of her teams. With the Avengers it was mainly chaos, destruction and death. The X Men weren't much different she supposed but there was usually less destruction left in their wake. Mutants usually went to war with one another on empty planes with no people around, as normal humans would interfere in the worst way possible. And would defy the objective of a mutant battle.
