"Coward?!"

"Coward,"

Quinn's green eyes seemed about ready to explode, but suddenly they dimmed as if someone had drawn a curtain over them.

"I am a coward," she whispered, so quiet Leo only saw her lips move. 

Quinn bit her lip and looked out of the window, but it was dark outside. Leo tried to follow her gaze and saw nothing, then turned back to her.

"Quinn, it's okay, we all make mistakes," Leo started trying to get her to look him in the eyes. 

"I broke a godly cup," she stopped biting her lip and locked eyes with Leo "that's not just a mistake. What if he punished me for eternity? I'll never go to college or have another margarita pizza or have a family or get my first kiss--" she stopped quickly and blushed, making Leo smile. 

Leo's thoughts fumbled in his brain, he wasn't good at speeches or talking to other life forms really, machines were easier, machines didn't have feelings.

"As bad as it seems, if Dionysus was really mad, he probably would have turned you into a dolphin, or a leopard, as lazy as he is, cause he is a god after all,"

Quinn seemed to perk up slightly, her eyes lightened up and her mouth opened slightly as she sucked in her breath.

"Ya, he could, of course, couldn't he! But... what if he punishes me when he sees me, he could remember, Dionysus could get really mad!"

"You're his daughter aren't you? No matter how godly or whatever he is, he's still your dad, and your still his kid,"

Leo thought to leave out some of the stories of when Gods had turned on their children. While Leo knew that the gods weren't the warm and fuzzy type, but he heard how remorse Dionysus had been when he lost one of his sons, Castor.

"You'll have a big brother, Pollux, and one on the Roman side too, Dakota, they're tons of fun and Pollux is a great gardener" Leo added, hoping to convince Quinn, but he wasn't sure why he added the "gardener" part.

Quinn laughed a little.

That's why I added it Leo thought.

Quinn sighed and tentatively asked, "I dunno Leo, what if... what if he's mad, really mad, and he... kills me?" 

Leo blinked, that could happen, he thought, doubtfully but...

"I won't let that happen, Quinn, trust me,"
