Until I lash out, until I confess and unless I just get up and leave you never notice. You don't understand what makes me feel good or is good for me. I like using my power to tear things apart but I do love helping people. But until I've finally left the building or seeming out of earshot that's wheny issues are brought up. Saying to mom something's changed in me. Until I stood up did anyone of you realize I'm not the son you wanted me to be. Or the brother who becomes the bigger man and takes the high road.

Until I left and I accidentally caused that little tremor you didn't know I changed. Until I told you didn't think I still care.

When I'm gone that's when you'll look back at everything.
