They tortured John, and nearly killed him. They've done similar things to other poor mutants probably, if any that they captured ended up surviving.  I took a short look at John and thought about what these monsters would've done if it had been Lauren...

But I can't overreact.  John getting the hell out of here is fhe priority. But if one more of them looks at Lauren I will lose it...
