Author's POV

People stared, jaws dropping as the three girls walked into school. They were staring at one girl in particular... The once quiet book worm who always wore sweatpants and t-shirts was now wearing a shortened black skirt, stilettos, and a nice fitting black crop top with the word 'GEEK' printed across it. Her once dull looking hair style was now sporting a stylish, newly dyed and lightly curled hair style. She had her makeup done for once, lightly put on, but just enough to make her features pop. The two girls beside her smiled in victory as the boys they passed started to drool.

She was hot.

And everyone knew it.

Ahn Serin, the girl no one noticed, was now the girl everyone wanted to know.

As they went to Serin's locker, Hayi and Suhyun both had smiles on their faces and a look of determination in their eyes. Serin grabbed the books she needed for class and stared back at the two nervously.

"Guys I don't think I can do it." She sputtered.

"What happened to the confidence you had last night? Just be that girl and you won't have any problems." Hayi said matter-of-factly. "Remember, be sassy and be proud of who you are. Love yourself! Now before we send you off, lip gloss check."

Serin self-consciously looked into the small portable mirror Suhyun carried in her purse and reapplied her lip gloss.

"Do you... Do you really think I can do this?"

Suhyun raised her brow. "Do you think we'd waste all this time if we didn't? You can do it. And just remember, even if it doesn't work out, every guy has been practically drooling over you. You can have anybody you want."

I want Jinhwan... She thought to herself, but instead just smiled.

"Serin, fighting!" The two cheered before skipping off to class.

Serin took a deep breath, closing her locker before strutting to class. She sassily walked, swaying her hips in a slightly seductive manor like how Hayi taught her, and when she stepped into the classroom, it went silent.

Instead of making it awkward like she usually does, Serin held her head high and smiled, walking to her seat. Everyone in class turned to stare at the newly transformed Serin.

"S-Serin?" She turned her head, meeting eyes with Donghyuk and the gang. Everyone in the group had classes with her except for Bobby and Hanbin, which was weird.

"Dude, it really is her." Chanwoo said with wide eyes.

"You look..." Donghyuk started.

"Hot." Junhoe finished, biting his lip. Normally in situations like this, Serin would blush and turn awkward, but she remembered everything the girls taught her.

Sassily, she flicked her hair over her shoulder and winked, biting her lip cutely, causing the guys to straighten up in their seats. "Thanks."

Just as class was about to start, in walked Jinhwan and when he saw Serin, his eyes widened.

Serin noticed, but just smiled to herself instead. Jinhwan turned to his group mates with wide eyes, and they returned it with an equally confused expression. The guys gulped, trying their hardest not to check Serin out.

But, boys will be boys.

As the teacher called Serin up to the board, all the guys couldn't help but to stare at her. Who knew that underneath those old baggy clothes was a goddess hiding in disguise? Serin's milky white, perfectly shaped legs, apple bottom, and perfectly hour-glassed figure made all the guys drool.

All except Jinhwan.

He narrowed his eyes, trying his hardest not to resist.

When Serin was finished, she sassily walked back to her desk, sending a flirtatious wink in the guys' direction.

Jinhwan stiffened.

Maybe this would be harder than he thought...

As lunch time rolled around, Serin was already asked out by 3 guys, but she declined each one since she didn't know them. She headed towards the library where Hanbin, her, and Bobby usually met up, but before she could hit the double doors, someone stopped her.

"What's going on?" Jinhwan asked, staring up and down at Serin's new transformation.

"I just thought I'd change it up a bit," Serin replied nonchalantly. "People seem to like it." She smirked, winking as a group of guys passed by.

Jinhwan rolled his eyes, smirking. "Why?"

"Why what?" Serin feigned innocence, then rolled her eyes. "You never seemed to care before, so why now?"

"i- I just--"

"Save it," She sighed, flicking her hair over her shoulder. "You don't have to explain anything. I gotta go, see ya around."

She left, walking through the double doors to the library. Serin had just sassed off to someone, Jinhwan to be exact. She should be proud of herself, right? But then why did she feel weird about it?

As she stepped in, Hanbin and Bobby both had to do a double take.

"Dude, Junhoe said you looked hot, but I didn't think he meant this hot." Bobby smirked, then high-fived Hanbin. "Your girl really did a number on this one."

"She's not my girl," Hanbin said. "Yet."

"Are you talking about Hayi?" Serin asked, awkwardly sitting in her usual seat. Now that she's with Hanbin and Bobby, she could be herself, and that includes being awkward. Taking off her stilettos, she let her feet breathe. "Those girls sure know what they're doing, but literally guys keep staring at me and it's making me feel weird."

Bobby rolled his eyes. "They're checking you out, stupid."

Hanbin stifled a laugh.

"Yeah, well it's weird." Serin sighed.

"No," Hanbin started. "What's weird was your reaction when Final Fantasy XIII came out. That, was weird."

"Yah!" Serin swatted his arm. "Don't judge my love for video graphics! XIII had high-def pixels--"

"Gah!" Bobby interjected. "You may look hot now, but you're still the dorky Serin we all know."

"Don't be hatin'." Serin laughed, raising her hands in defense. "I don't think the plan is working..." She says, getting to the point.

"And why not?"

"Jinhwan stopped me and asked me what was going on with all," She paused to think of a word. "This."

Hanbin and Bobby exchanged glances.

"Oh, it's working." Bobby sighed, swiping his thumb underneath his lip. "Think about it. He wouldn't ask if he wasn't curious."

Serin paused. "Speaking of curious.... Mind telling me what happened to your lip?"

Hanbin and Bobby exchanged glances again, before Hanbin broke out into a smile.

Bobby sighed. "Since Jinhwan thought that we literally sent you on a date, I told him it was with a complete stranger... The boys got rowdy and in the end, Jinhwan 'accidentally' headbutted me."

Serin scrunched her brows. "Why the quotes around 'accidentally'?"

"Oh, because the bastard literally hit me hard," Bobby spat. "But only infront of Hanbin. The others were taking a break."

"We think it's because he might actually like you," Hanbin smiled. "That's why he says he 'hates' you.... He's like an elementary schooler."

Serin blinked. "So I didn't have to dress up?"

"No, you still have to. It's all apart of our experiment." Hanbin said.

"Hm." She mutters.

"Just be sure to listen to Hayi," Hanbin laughs. "She knows Jinhwan like the back of her hand. And when she says be sassy or bitchy--"

"Act like her?" Serin cuts in, causing Bobby to burst out laughing.

Hanbin rolls his eyes, but cracks a half smile. "Just do what she says."

Serin laughs, then salutes to the boy in front of her. "Aye, aye captain."
