Every scenario has a prompt that you somehow have to fit into your reply! If not yours, then mine!

Scenario 1:

Every year, on the night of January 1st, kings and queens will hold extravagant balls and parties for their kingdoms, watching as the clock strikes midnight, and people are drawn into their soulmates arms. 

But soulmates are only for the richest people. It isn’t known why, but almost all of the lower class doesn’t have a soulmate they become drawn to. It’s just evolution, or something. (O/C) never expected a soulmate. They were a servant in the palace. And at the night of the party, they were sweeping up around the ballroom floors as people got ready to find their soulmate. And before they knew it, the clock struck midnight, and they were pulled toward (Y/C) -the prince/princess- and tucked into their arms.

"I have the honour to be your obedient servant.."

Scenario 2:

The only hint people have about their soulmate is in their dreams. And they try to remember their face so they can find them. Its really a sweet thing, you’ve heard stories about people and their soulmates all the time

But (O/C)'s always been plagued with nightmares..

"It's just... I always have nightmares.. about.. about you..."

Scenario 3:

Your typical soulmate AU where a tattoo of your soulmate’s name appears on your 18th birthday. (O/C) is convinced that (Y/C) will be their soulmate. (O/C) wakes up on their 18th birthday and is bitterly disappointed that it’s not (Y/C). It’s gotta be (Y/C)'s relative or something though because they have the same last name...?

But (O/C) has been to basically every family gathering and never even heard of this person, who the fuck is this soulmate and do they even exist? (O/C) doesn't share this with (Y/C) because they don’t want to be embarrassed/it’s not really socially unacceptable to share your soulmate’s name before you find them.

Cue years of angst. (Y/C) comes out as trans/nb/genderqueer/other and changes their name. Their new name matches (O/C)’s tattoo.

"I should've known!"

Scenario 4:

What about a soul mate au where you hear background music for the most important parts of your life, and when you meet your soul mate it’s dramatic and romantic music

But on the other hand…..

“Guys we really shouldn’t go in there, can’t you hear the creepy ass music? I don’t want to get killed.”

“Fuck I’m pretty sure this is fighting music I can’t fight you I have exams to study for.”

“Oh no poor kitty why are you out here all on your-NO STOP THE SAD MUSIC THIS CAT ISN’T GONNA DIE JUST WATCH ME."
