Day 8
Erza's POV - SATURDAY
"This is your new place?!" Levy asked, her eyes becoming bigger than her head. "It's incredible!"
"When did I invite you guys over again?"
"Monday, we suggested it and here we are! By the way, we brought sleepover stuff too, figured you must get lonely." Lucy cheered, hugging me whilst she squealed. "I'm so happy for you! I mean, it could do with some serious redecorating but that's no problem. My dad has the best interior designers so I can help you out there."
Behind Lucy stood Juvia, she held her backpack in her hands and wouldn't make eye contact. She looked... scared.
"Juvia? Are you all right?" I asked her, she seemed to snap out of her daze and smiled weakly.
"Yeah, Juvia needs to ask... Are there any wild animals out here?"
"I think there are a couple of wolves, I mean I've heard them but they don't come near the mansion so it's okay." I replied, trying my best not to scare her any more than she already seemed to be. "If you want to go home Juvia it's fine, we're friends so don't worry if you don't want to be here. We understand."
"No! Juvia is okay."
"Is there a library?" Levy asked. "I'm sorry, I'm being so rude. Where should we put our things?"
"I'll show you where my room is, there are some spare rooms on the same floor."
"Erza. We're sleeping in the same room, it's a sleepover." Lucy pointed out. "It'll be fine! You can protect us from any monsters which may try to scare us!"
I laughed with her. Oh if only you knew...
"Sure, I'll take you all to my room in a moment. Just take off your shoes, you can leave them by the door. And to your left is the coat stand." I quickly rushed further down the hallway to check for any unwanted supernatural boys and gave out a sigh of relief when they were no where to be found.
Thank goodness...
"AAAAAHHHH!" Came a scream from the front door. My blood ran cold, they couldn't have... No. They're not part of the game.
I raced back to my friends, adrenaline coursing through my veins. Then I felt all of the worry leave my body through a deep sigh. However, at Lucy's feet was what seemed to be a dead animal; too mutilated to make out completely.
"E-Erza... What the hell is this?" Levy asked, her face turning whiter than the snow scarf around her neck.
"I... I guess my uncle never cleaned everything up? The house is huge, I haven't explored everywhere." I replied, hoping that my response was good enough for her.
"You need to clean up then this weekend, we'll help out if we can." The small girl looked around and picked up a walking stick which must have belonged to my uncle. She gently prodded the dead animal and slowly moved it towards the doorway, then she gagged and turned back to face me. "I'm sorry, I can't..."
Within a few seconds, Levy had covered her mouth with her hands and rushed off down the hallway searching desperately for a bathroom.
"Levy!" Lucy cried. "Erza, where's the nearest bathroom?"
"The third door on the left after you pass the flowerpot."
"Thanks." She rushed after Levy, calling out to her and telling her where the nearest toilet was.
Juvia was being so quiet I almost forgot she was there. When I turned around to face her, her blue eyes were wide open and she was scanning the area as if she was looking for something... Or perhaps someone.
"Juvia?"
"Pardon?" She looked at me and snapped out of her little daze. "Sorry, Juvia thought she heard something."
"It's fine..." I looked back at where the animal was, only to find it was gone. In its place however was a pink haired menace who grinned at me.
Shit! Shit! Shit! I thought they weren't in the house!!
Just before Juvia could turn around and see what I was looking at, I grabbed her hand and shot her a smile. "Come on, let's go find the others and sort out where we're going to stay shall we?"
"Of course, Juvia will pick up Levy's bag if Erza picks up-," I cursed under my breath as Juvia turned around.
But Natsu was gone.
"Here." Juvia passed me Lucy's bag. "Please lead the way Erza."
***
"So, boys."
"No Lucy! You keep trying to bring up this topic but there aren't any guys at school worth noticing!"
"What about Gray?"
"We all friend-zoned Gray the day we met him. Who wants to date a guy who unconsciously strips?"
"Juvia wouldn't mind..."
The blonde's eyes gleamed with a mischievous plan. She shimmied closer to the newest addition to the group.
"Oh really? Well if you want I could set you two up on a date?"
"No! Juvia must do what her mother did before to court her now husband!" Juvia flashed a look of pure determination.
"What would that be?"
"Confessing her love to him and watching as he confesses his love back!"
"Really?"
"Of course."
I continued to eat my cookie dough ice-cream whilst laughing at my friends' conversation. It was nice, not having to worry about the vampires trying to seduce me then kill me. My friends helped me loosen up, but I was still concerned for them.
If my friends were caught in the crossfire then who knows what would happen?
"Erza where is the closest bathroom? I really need to visit it before I go to sleep." Lucy asked as she slowly stood up from her mattress next to mine.
"There's an en suite." I pointed to the door and as Lucy was approaching it, Levy raced past her and rushed in.
"Sorry Lu! I think I need it more than you at the moment!"
"Damn you Levy!" The brown eyed girl looked at me with pretend sadness in her eyes. "Erza it's dark outside and I don't want to go alone."
"Fine, I'll show you where the other bathroom is... If I can find it."
"What?"
"Nothing."
Juvia looked as if she was already falling asleep, so Lucy and I were careful not to stir her awake.
Lucy's phone provided enough light to see down towards the end of the corridor. She was wearing her light pink teddy bear pyjama top along with a pair of pyjama shorts with bows on them. I was wearing a normal tank top with plaid pyjama bottoms. My hair was tied back into a ponytail to stop it from getting in my face when I slept.
"I know how you feel, being in a huge house and feeling alone." Lucy broke the silence. "When my mother passed, my father didn't really interact with me much. I was just something he had. On my eighth birthday I woke up from a nightmare, I tried to find his room but because I was so scared I ended up getting lost. The head cook found me crying my eyes out, he took my back to my room and gave me an ice cream sundae as a present."
"My eighth birthday was a lot different. The orphanage where I was staying at the time didn't really care for our birthdays. We all kept them secret if we could, Simon, one of the boys I knew, was so happy on his birthday. His sister had given him a toy, but the head found out and took it from him." We turned a corner and peered into different doors. "So on my birthday, I didn't say a word."
"That's awful."
"Sorry, I didn't mean to dampen the mood... Oh gosh this is a disaster already, who wants to remember their sad memories?"
"It's better than remembering the awkward early years of being a teenager!" Lucy joked, causing both of us to cringe and laugh.
"I was the worst teen ever."
"Did you see me?"
By the time we found a bathroom, we realised that we had been walking in circles for about 10 minutes. We wandered back to the room and when we were outside of the door we heard some shuffling.
"I guess Juvia and Levy are sleepwalkers or something eh?" Lucy grinned, walking through the door.
I followed her and my blood ran cold when I saw the scene in front of me.
Jellal and Natsu were stood in the centre of the room, Natsu holding Juvia and Jellal poking Levy's pale face.
The tattooed vampire looked up and beamed when he saw me.
"Scarlet! How lovely to see you, I was afraid you wouldn't be here this fine evening. Look what we found!" He gestured to Levy and Juvia, both of them looked frightened.
"E-Erza..." Levy sobbed. "I don't know what they want..."
"Shhhh." Jellal lulled Levy into a sleep and brought his gaze back to mine. "You never mentioned you were having friends over."
"Well you shouldn't be near them! Get away from them!"
"Erza, who are these guys...?" Lucy asked, I noticed her breathing accelerating.
Natsu looked over at her and his jaw dropped. Then he let go of Juvia who fell to her knees and suddenly appeared next to Lucy. His head rested on her shoulder and his arms snaked around her waist.
"This one smells so good... I think I'll keep this one." He smiled menacingly at me.
"Stop... Leave them alone!"
"Or what?" Jellal laughed. "What can you do against us? You're outnumbered, have no weapons and at this rate... If you don't accept your fate as my plaything then you're friends are going to perish in your place."
My heart raced, my mind went blank. It was too late, I had stared into Jellal's eyes and I was caught.
Game over. His expression read. Slowly, he lowered Levy to the floor where she curled up into a ball and continued to sleep. He then made his way over to me and smiled a crooked smile.
"I've got you now Erza." His voice sounded deep and sexy... What am I thinking?! "I'm going o have so much fun with you..."
Suddenly, a spiral of water forced Jellal into the wall beside me and the eye contact was broken. I blinked and realised that I was free again.
"What the..."
Juvia was stood by the en suite door, her arms outstretched. A column of water seemed to float beside her, the way her arms were held up looked like she was controlling the water.
"I thought there was something off about you!" Jellal snarled. "A Water Sprite!"
Juvia smiled. "It's been a while since Juvia met a vampire. The last one Juvia met was torn apart by a werewolf."
"Woah, werewolves?" Lucy asked, forgetting for a moment about her predicament.
"Oh princess there is so much you don't know." Natsu told her.
"Get away from Lucy, or Juvia will call her wolf friend and he will tear you both apart." Juvia threatened.
Natsu released Lucy who rushed over to me. She was shaking and I had never seen her so vulnerable.
"You're not a part of this deal Sprite! Get lost." Jellal warned. "I'm known to have ripped some wolves apart as well!"
"This one is different." The Water Sprite glared at him. "And here he comes now."
The windows were smashed open by an abnormally large wolf with metal studs running down its legs and back. Its nose had three metal piercings running up the bridge and its eyes were blood red.
It growled at the vampires who both bore their fangs and snarled back.
"Perfect timing Gajeel."

HELLO!
Here is the update, it's shorter than the previous chapters but it's here!!
I actually had some fun with this, but it's not edited or anything so it's got it's mistakes.
I might write a short Jerza story called 'Rouge Vendetta', thoughts?
