Chapter 16: Contest Injury?

Yeji's POV

Finally! I finished every problem that should be good.

Now, the only thing, I have to worry about is, their Dance Teacher. Apparently the teacher was also hired by somebody in the contest. Apparently that somebody is Wang Yiren.

Ugh, I hate her. If she has the Dance Teacher, then who can practice, both Soobin and Lia?! They have to do Two Acts. Their first is a Duet and the second was their ballroom dancing. That, they've taken the inspiration from "Beauty and the Beast" the movie.

We're literally, going down here! Argh, I know I can dance, but I can't dance ballroom without a partner. I was thinking a way to get us through the tight spot, when I heard Miss Tzuyu call me.

"Yeji? You don't have to worry. I know somebody who can teach us. I'll call her." Miss Tzuyu said, and took out her phone, to dial someone.

"For now, we have to fix more about the props, Question and Answer portion, and their voices." Miss Tzuyu said, and looked at me.

"But, I would like, if you can also try to contact another Dance Teacher. If mine couldn't come." Miss Tzuyu said, and left me alone.

"Yes, Miss. I'll do my Best!" I said, and did the things we have to do. I also contacted another Dance Teacher.

While I was on the phone, waiting the call to come through. I was deep in thought. 'What if... I teach the both of them? I guess that can work. It'll be a bit more convenient as, we don't have to pay for anybody.'. I thought, when my train of thought, I heard my phone, saying something annoying to my ear. "The number you have dialed, is currently unattended. Please try again later."

That's it. I'm taking this problem in my own hands. I was about to go to Lia and Soobin. When Miss Tzuyu called me.

"Yeji, I don't think my friend can come right now. How about yours? Can they come?" Miss Tzuyu said, obviously worried for both Soobin and Lia.

"Nope, he cannot be reached." I said, and looked down.

"Now, What can we do? We don't have time on our side. We're literally actually losing it." Miss Tzuyu said, while looking at her wrist watch.

"Umm, Miss Tzuyu?" I called her attention.

"Yes, Yeji? Have you already gotten an answer?" She asked me, while also looking at me.

"I can teach them. Well, they only have the other half left right? And they're just copying the Dance from Beauty and the Beast. So I guess I can teach them. Since, there's nothing else to do here. I can focus on them, if we start early, we can get it done. Just before the show starts." I said, I looked at Miss Tzuyu she was thinking.

"Hmm.... I guess so... But, are you sure you can do it?" She asked me.

"Yes. I will do whatever it takes to make our Class win this, competition!" I said.

"Ok, I'll be taking this job, from you, and you'll be teaching them. I'll be sending you the video. Wait. After you watch that, you can do whatever it takes just to let them know, what they should do." She said, before leaving me totally.

Once, she was gone, I quickly looked around for the Pair. I found them, practicing their Duet. I looked at them like seriously? They're, practicing the Duet, when that's already good! I went over to them, and called their attention.

"Lia and Soobin! We have to go now! You two are going to practice your ballroom dance." I said, while starting to pull them out of our classroom.

We ran through the hallway, making our way to the dance practice room. Once we were there, I locked the door and told them they should practice what they've learn so far, so I can watch them and learn how much do we still need to do.

Once, they were done, I saw the video that Miss Tzuyu said. She was right they only have the other half left. While I was watching, the video, I told them they should get their clothes, water, and towel. As it is time to practice.

Finally! Were already done, with the steps, we only have to clean it up. Then try it with their costumes on. But, it really took a toll on me. I think, my injury just worsened. But I didn't think somebody noticed. As of the Moment they are currently changing from their practice clothes, to their costumes.

It's so beautiful! I think, I had a tear roll down from my eye. I'm happy, that I taught them, because just look at them, I feel like a proud mom, right now. After, they danced, I told them, they should at least have eye contact to make it more believable. Then, I took a quick glance at the time it was already 4:58 PM! They have to get ready!

"Lia! Soobin! Hurry up! You guys still need to get ready!" I said, while pushing them.

"Okay, okay!" They both said, while trying to go to their things.

"Okay! This will not do. I'll fix your stuff up! You guys, go back to the classroom! They need you!" I said, while shooing them away, from the room.

"But- Wait-." Lia was about to protest, but I stopped her somehow that is.

"No but's and wait's! Go to the classroom now!" I said, ordering and scolding them both, I guess they both got the message, but were a bit shocked when, they heard me raise my voice. I have never raised my voice in class before, so this is new.

"Lia..." Soobin called her name out, just to get Lia's attention.

"Let's go. We should put our trust on Yeji." He continued, while grabbing Lia, and running away, with his Princess.

'I wonder, when will they be in a relationship?' I thought.

I quickly go to their stuff, and fixed it. While I was fixing it, my head suddenly hurt, and my stomach is growling. How come I didn't notice that? That I forgot to eat? I suddenly lost, balance and dropped to the floor. The last thing I know was somebody calling my Name, while carrying me.

Lia's POV

I think, Yeji isn't telling me something... I mean, look at her?! She has INJURIES! On her wrist, and leg, and she's still dancing!

'Argh! Just how stubborn can she be?' I thought.

Right now, we just finished practicing our Ballroom Dance. I was about to approach her when, she said we should go, it's getting late, we still need to be fixed. I mean look at us! We're both a mess, even though were wearing costumes, we look like rubbish!

I was about to protest, when she threatened us. Again. Apparently that's a habit of hers. Before, I can say something again. Somebody called me, it was Soobin.

"Lia..." Soobin said, I just looked at him. Nobody spoke, after that.

"Let's go. We should put our trust on Yeji." He said, before grabbing my Hand and ran outside the room, to our classroom.

"Soobin! Why did you do that?! How about Yeji?! She clearly has an Injury! She needs to be treated, quickly!" I said to him, and pushed his hand away.

"We can't, do anything about it! The pageant is about to start, and were not even ready yet! I mean look at us! We're both a mess!" He said, as we both fell silent.

"Woah, woah. Dude! Stop, if Yeonjun hyung heard that you shouted at his sister, you're literally dead meat." A voice said, it was manly, but I know the person who said it, it has to be Beomgyu's.

I can hear, heels clacking on the floor. It means, he's not alone. Somebody's with him, we both looked at the place where the voice came from.

"Yah! Lia Unnie! Why aren't you dressed up?! Well, I mean you are but! Well, you get the point. You're dressed up in your costume!" Another voice said, feminine.

Meaning, if there's Beomgyu the Escort of Ryujin's Class. Then there should be the Muse of their Class as well. And that would be the Ryujin. I looked at her. She doesn't look like the Ryujin, I know! She looks so different!

"I know, I know. I look so different! Geez... You guys don't have to point it out." Ryujin said, while putting her disgusted face on.

"Hyung?" Another voice came, great! Now, I think all the contestants are here!

"Kai?" I heard Soobin say.

"So, it is you guys..." A female voice said, I think I know who this is, Yuna.

"Wait, why is Lia Unnie wearing that? Oh, Hi Ryujin Unnie! What are you guys doing here? Are you guys taking a walk too?" Yuna asked.

"Yeah. I have to get used to wearing these death traps." Ryujin said, while looking at her shoes.

"We just finished practicing, our second act." Soobin said, to answer Yuna's Question.

"Anyway, we need to go now. We still need to fix ourselves." I said, while pulling Soobin towards our classroom.

I finally, have a plan, thanks to Beomgyu, I know who can help both me and Yeji. Yeonjun. We ran towards our classroom, man. This school is literally big! When we got there, we were covered in sweat! I quickly looked for Yeonjun.

"Where's Yeonjun?!" I asked, everybody pointed at him quickly.

"Lia! Where's Yeji?" Miss Tzuyu asked me.

"She's at the practice room. Excuse me Miss, but I have to talk to my brother." I said, while going towards Yeonjun's Direction.

"Yeonjun! I need your help! And as the president of this Class and as my big brother you cannot reject this!" I said, with authority, while the stylists are fixing me as well.

"Well, since you are my sister, and as the president of this class. I can't really reject that. Now, go on." He said, while looking at me, I quickly smiled.

"So, no matter what, you'll be accepting it. I want you to go to the Dance Practice room, and get Yeji to the infirmary. She has an injury. But, I guess she doesn't want to go to the infirmary." I said to him.

"So?" He said, looking uninterested.

"I need you to take care of her. And no Buts! You already accepted it!" I said, and smiled knowing that I already won.

"Okay, okay." He said, while standing up, and walking towards the door.

"But, promise me, one thing. Promise me you'll do everything to win this." He said, and then sighed.

"Of course!" I said, while looking at his back, until it disappeared.

Yeonjun's POV

After I went out from our Classroom, I quickly ran down the stairs. Bumping into somebody. And it turns out that this somebody is a person I know.

"Hyung! Will you at least look at where you're going?" Taehyun said.

"Taehyun! Look I'm sorry, but this is urgent!" I said, while standing up.

"Yeonjun oppa? What's so urgent? Isn't Lia eonni, upstairs already? Ryujin and Beomgyu said, that they bumped into her and Soobin oppa." Another voice said, I think it's Chaeryeong.

I mean, Taehyun wouldn't hang out with somebody else than us, or Chaeryeong. Meaning, that he is currently courting her. I looked to her, and saw her helping Taehyun up. And the boy is smiling so widely right now.

'Tsk. Be thankful, somebody needs me right now.' I thought.

"I'll go now. Okay? So I won't destroy your 'Moment' so I won't be killed by ITZY." I said, while continuing to run towards the dance practice Room.

Damn it! Yeji, you shouldn't have done that. Look at you, you're currently injured. Well, that's what Lia said.

I quickly ran through halls. I passed by the infirmary, first though. To check if it's close or not. Sadly, it is. So it's either I have to get her to the hospital or I just have to treat her injuries myself.

Finally! I've reached the place. Once, I got there, I quickly opened the door. But when I did, I regret it so much. I saw Yeji, losing her conscious. I quickly went to her.

"Yeji! Yeji! Yeji, Wake up!" I said, while shaking her body up. After a few minutes, I gave up knowing that i can't do anything about it.

But, I do know that she brought a First Aid Kit. I quickly went to our classroom, and got it. Lia was about to ask me how Yeji was, but I quickly left the room, without saying anything.

As I ran back to the dance practice Rproom. I quickly ran back Yeji's side, seeing her being laid like that hurt me. I stared at her, for a good couple of minutes, admiring her Features.

Damn it. She changed so much... I can't believe it. I thought I would never see her again, but here she is. In my Arms, a bit injured though, but still. This is a progress already!

Putting those aside, I quickly opened the kit, and thoroughly scanned the Items, that it contains. I quickly saw all the items I needed to use, to treat her Injuries.

Good thing, I know how to do First Aid. If not, I'll be taking her to the hospital. While I was fixing her injuries, she suddenly moved. It was a bit surprising, if you ask me, I mean she was unconscious, when I came here! But now she's moving!

Wow, I mean, wow. She really is something. I was almost done fixing her injuries, when she suddenly said something.

"Yeonjun?" She called out, while still blinking her eyes.

'Maybe, she's trying to adjust her eyesight to the light here...' I thought.

"Hmm?" I just hummed in response, as I was a bit too busy fixing her injuries.

"W-What are you doing here?! Isn't the competition going to start any moment now! You have to be there with them!" She said, trying to make me go away, and by the time she said that, I was already done fixing her up.

"Tsk. As if..." I said underneath my breath, and started fixing the first aid kit.

"What? Did you just say something?" She asked, while looking at me, to be honest it was kind of cute. Then it hit me hard right in the face.

'What are you thinking, Yeonjun?! You might as well be dead now!' I thought.

"I said nothing. I'll be-." I was cut off, by what I've seen! She was standing up, and fixing Lia's and Soobin's things!

"H-Hey! Stop it! Lia will kill me if she found out that I made you do that!" I said, while making her sit down, on the couch.

"Then, who will do it huh? You?" She asked, while pointing at me, while also raising her eyebrow at me.

"Hmph. Just watch me! I can do this by myself. I don't need your help!" I said, I guess it was officially boasting?

I guess, it took me a bit longer than expected but, I finally did it. I finally finished fixing both Lia's and Soobin's Stuff. When I heard nothing. I quickly panicked thinking something bad might've happen to Yeji. I quickly turned to couch just to find her, Asleep.

Well, that's great. I thought, I can at least let her walk towards my car. So, I can get her home safely. But then again, she is injured so this is the only way I can get her to the car.

I quickly took their things. And went to my car, just to put their things in the trunk. I quickly went back to the Dance Practice Room. And found Yeji, still sound asleep. I quickly went to her, and picked her up, bridal style. I went to the switch of the lights in the room and quickly turned them off.

I was walking towards my car, when I had remembered Lia! How can she go home?! I ran towards my car and opened it. I quickly put Yeji in the Passengers sit. And I started the engine, and turn on the aircon. I locked the doors, and check if they are really locked before going to our Classroom.

I saw Lia and Soobin, over at the Makeup station. I quickly ran to them.

"Lia! Soobin! I need to go now." I said, obviously catching my breath.

"Wait, why?! How can I go home then?!" Lia said, panicking.

"This is for your best friend, which you asked for me to look after. She is badly injured, and as for your things it's in the trunk of my car. I only need to tell this to you guys, so yeah. But seriously, I really need Lia to have lift. And I trust nobody in this Class but Soobin. Besides Soobin knows our house, it's practically his third house." I said, making my point.

"Okay, thanks for understanding! Bye!" I said, and left while waving my hand at them.

I ran back to my car, just to see that it was almost 8?! Oh god. I quickly got in, and started driving back to our place.

Seriously! It would've taken at least 20 minutes! But the traffic made it longer. But yeah, were already in front of our houses. I quickly rang the doorbell. And wait for a maid to come and answer it.

"Wait, a moment!" The maid answered, as she started opening the gate.

"What- ah! Sir Yeonjun! What brings you here?" The maid asked, obviously trying to flirt with me.

"Can you open the gate and door of the house, for us?" I asked, completely ignoring her question.

"Yes! But, what do you mean 'Us'? There's only you." She said, and started to look around the place. I moved aside and let her see Yeji, sleeping inside my car.

"Miss Yeji! Oh my! I'll open up the gateway and door of the house for you sir!" She said.

As she opened the door. I quickly grabbed Yeji, from my car, and closed the door. I went inside their house asking for directions towards her bedroom.

They lead me to it and opened the door, for me. When I entered it was way different than what I was thinking!

I quickly laid her down on her bed, and said something to their maids.

"Can you change what she's wearing into something more comfortable? By the way, she's injured so, please be careful.' I said and left the house.

I quickly went down and got to my car, and got her things and went inside again, and put it on the couch, before leaving the house totally.

So, in this chapter, I moved the dance video from the page to the media. And please don't mind all the spaces in between paragraphs or sentences, I really tried removing them but, no matter how hard I try to remove them they return. And, yes I added a little moment here for the other ships.
