Chapter 14: Records & Class Nominations

Yeji's POV

After, all the introductions, Ms. Tzuyu, decided to let us have our early recess. And that means, we can meet up with the others! This is great, that also means we can talk about our classmates! As I was about to finish fixing my things, I was called by Miss Tzuyu.

"Yeji?" Miss Tzuyu called me and my attention.

"Yes, Miss Tzuyu?" I asked her, while looking a bit confused, by the reason why she called for me.

"Say, when you said, you were asleep for a year, how did you know what to answer in your medical form, if you didn't even know what happened to you?" She asked me, looking so much more curious than before.

"Well, for that, I wasn't the one who answered that. It was my Mom." I said to her, she quickly nodded and made her way towards the teacher's table, and quickly fixed her stuff, and got it, to leave.

"Wait, Miss Tzuyu!" I said, she quickly, turned around, and kind of made me feel like as if the world just began slowing down for some reason.

"Hmm? Yeji?" She asked, and that caught my attention.

"Are you perhaps, a friend of Dahyun eonni and Chae eonni?" I asked her, she looked surprised, but then quickly laughed.

"Yes, I am one of their friends, to be exact; I'm the youngest, but the tallest of all of us. How did you know about that matter?" She asked me, while she was still laughing and smiling.

"Well, I saw a picture of you and your group, at Chae eonni's desk, when I came in to do the admission form, for this school year." I said, and smiled.

"Oh, okay, I see, If that's all, I'll be going now, okay? You should have your Recess now, Yeji." She said and left our classroom, completely.

I was, clearly standing in front of the door, for awhile now. And I was thinking of all the possibilities, I met one more member of their group.

"Yeji!" Somebody called me and snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm? Lia? What are you doing here? I thought you already left?" I asked her, and went back to our sit, and quickly finished fixing my things.

"Yeah, but then I remembered, you don't know the way through this school, because you're new. Plus, you might get lost here again." She said, and laughed.

"Oh, okay! Let's go now!" I said, determined to see the younger ones.

We were already alongside the younger ones in the cafeteria to buy, ourselves food, for our Recess period. We were so hungry, that Ryujin and Yuna quickly ran off to the counter just to buy us some food.

After a few minutes, they returned, but I noticed something was a bit tad off, with Ryujin.

"Okay, what is it with you and your attitude?" I asked her, while tilting my head to the side.

"She's in a bad mood, eonni it's because of our Teacher, actually annoyed her earlier." Chaeryeong said, while continuing to eat her sandwich.

"Oh, what did that teacher say?" I asked Chaeryeong.

'Well, he didn't really actually say anything. Instead, he kept on poking Ryujin's Shoulder." Chaeryeong explained, while looking at me.

We kept on talking to each other, until we had to go back to our own classrooms.

'I finally have friends who I can depend on.' I thought, and mentally smiled.

Author's POV

Right now as of the moment, in Yeji's class they are currently doing the nominations of class officers. There are currently 45 of them.

As of the Moment they are currently on the President Position and the Nominees are:

Choi Soobin
Park Jiwon (E:U)
Choi Yeonjun
Hwang Yeji
Lee Mina

You could already see Yeji's horrified Expression, when she was nominated. yeji wasn't actually the one to be somewhat close to that position. Yeji doesn't really want to hold any class positions. But, fate just had to come in and ruin it, or maybe to be exact, it was Lia, who nominated her.

And now for the Votings:

Choi Soobin - 10
Park Jiwon (E:U) - 7
Choi Yeonjun - 13
Hwang Yeji - 10
Lee Mina - 5

Yeji was practically surprised; she was the 2nd to the most voted one. Yeji was practically a new Student. Nobody knew a thing about her. Meaning, why would they vote for her?

With, Yeonjun leading the way, he is the New President of this Class. Meaning, Yeonjun will have to represent their class in big things.

Next was the Vice President, the Nominees are:

After, being nominated once again, by Lia, Yeji decided she should take action, And Nominated Lia, for the position as well.

There was a two way tie, But Yeji on the other hand, still won, because she's five votes ahead all of them.

After, everything, all the positions are filled up! The positions are quiet odd, because almost all of them are female.

The people in the Classroom welcomed them with open arms. And that concludes the nominations for class officers.

Yeji's POV

Finally! School is over! I still don't get it, why would they vote for me, I'm still pretty new to this school. And they put their trust in me, and I'll never fail them!

I was with the Girls; we were walking towards the gate. To go home, obviously, but, they were talking to each other, while me, I was thinking of Hyunjin. Where could that Idiot be?

He couldn't have forgotten to fetch me, Right? I mean he is a year older than me, so it's natural, for him, to be in another place, and late.

"Hey, you okay there?" I heard somebody say, I quickly turned around to see, Soobin!

"Uh, of course! Why wouldn't I be?" I asked him, I quickly turned around, and looked for the girls.

"Well, you kind of seem, lost, And if you're looking for the girls, they're at the back, they've been calling, you." Soobin said, and pointed at the opposite way that I was looking.

"Oh." I said, and turned around and what he said was true. They were there.

I quickly ran to them, and apologized to them.

"I didn't mean to leave you guys behind, I swear!" I said, and quickly bowed.

"Well you didn't actually left us, we were the ones, you just actually stopped, we should've told you." Yuna said, while looking down.

"Well, what were you thinking? It seems kind of deep?" Chaeryeong asked me.

"Well, I was thinking of my big brother, he isn't here yet." I said, and started to look around the courtyard.

"Well, he is already somebody who's looking for a job right? So it's natural that, he'll be out late." Lia said, trying to reason it out, it then got quiet, nobody dared to break it, until, somebody did.

"Well, since your here now, we were just talking about, how about we go to the Coffee Shop near here?" Ryujin asked us.

"I'm fine with it." Yuna said, while smiling.

"Yeah, sure, I was craving for some Coffee just earlier today." Lia said.

"Yeah, why not?" Chaeryeong said.

"Umm..." I couldn't reply, because this is one thing that I don't know what to do.

"How about you Yeji eonni?" Yuna asked, but I didn't reply, I guess that kind of worried them

"I guess you're still worried for that pervert brother of yours? Right?" Ryujin asked me, while going right next to me.

"Umm, yeah, of course, who wouldn't be? He just moved here like weeks ago, so he still doesn't know the way home." I replied back to her.

"Well, just text him, that you're with us, at a Coffee Shop near school. It's not like you're going to a prison cell." Ryujin said.

"Okay." I said, and quickly took out my cell phone and texted him

Ryujin's Stalker:

Wow, I didn't think, he would say those things!

"Well, he said 'Yes'. But, he also said, I'll stay there until he can pick me up." I said, while looking at them.

"Is it okay, if you guys stay with me there, until he can pick me up?" I asked them.

"Well, of course if something bad had happen to you, we'll be the ones that will be held responsible so, yes.' Lia replied back to me.

"Come on! You guys know how crowded that place can get." Ryujin said, we all laughed at her statement.

Okay, now that we are here, I still don't know why we are even here at the first place. Right now, we are currently sitting near the window. So, if Hyunjin's going to fetch me, he'll be able to see us.

"Hey, let's go and order?" Ryujin asked us.

"Yeah, sure." I said, since this the first time I've been here, I'll just take a look at the menu first, since I don't actually know what to order or anything.

"Well, we can't exactly all go to the counter, all of our things are here." Chaeryeong said, making all of us look at her.

"It's fine, I'll stay here, since you guys probably know what I want, here, if you don't just say this to the one whose taking orders 'Ryujin's Usual' then point to me. I'm a regular here, so they probably know it already." Ryujin said, and got everybody's things.

"Ah, so that's why you wanted to come here." Lia said, and crossed her arms.

"Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows?" Ryujin said, shrugging while the other girls look mad.

"Ah, fine!" Yuna said, giving up with Ryujin's attitude.

So we all left, well, except Ryujin, to go to the counter, but before, we got there I heard Ryujin said 'Yes!'. When we got there they quickly order Ryujin's Order, then, theirs, since I'm still new here. I ordered an Oreo Milk tea with Brownie Cake.

The others orders are:

Lia: Mocha Frappuccino & Strawberry Cheesecake

Ryujin: Black Pearl Milk tea, Mocha Bread & Mocha Cake

Chaeryeong: Chocolate Milkshake & Chocolate Cake

Yuna: Strawberry Milkshake & Strawberry Chocolate Cake

After we paid all the things we ordered. We've been told that we should for our orders to come to our table; we waited for our orders to come. After a few minutes, they did. We quickly thank the Waiter. We started to talk and eat as well; we started to know each other.

As we were getting further into the topic. My phone beeped, it was Hyunjin.

It's finally done, I'm currently fixing my things, are you still at the Coffee shop? I also think I almost died.

Yes, I'm still here with them, were currently talking about our school lives and probably knowing each other more.

So, after our little chat, I quickly looked up to them and said that Hyunjin is already done with his interview. We continued to talk, more. Until Lia said something.

"Yeji, you're a part of ITZY now, Okay?" Lia said to me, which caught me completely off guarded.

"Wait, what?!" I said, obviously surprised.

"Is it a bit surprising?" Chaeryeong said which I just nodded at.

"Yeah, I guess, I never knew you guys would want for me to join, ITZY." I said.

After that little discussion. Well, let's just say, Hyunjin came, and we talked for a little while. We've been here for quite a while now, were all talking and laughing; I think we've been here for an hour or so?

I was about to say to Hyunjin, that we should go home. But then Somebody's phone suddenly ringed. It turns out, it was Lia's.

She said, her parents want her home already. I said to Hyunjin, that we should also go home, as knowing Mom; she would probably be worried right now. He quickly agreed with me. We all got up, and as we were going to the exit.

We asked each other where their houses are. Turns out Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. Lives in the same direction, but different houses. We asked Ryujin to take care of them for us, she said, she would, as she is always the last one to get to their house as it was far.

Since, Me, Lia and Hyunjin. All live the same direction we decided we should walk home together.

We are currently near our neighborhood, and so far none of us are practically, splitting up. I mean, we kind of passed a little bit more, on our side of the neighborhood, and Lia is still with us.

We are currently really near, and I and Lia are just talking to each other, not bothering Hyunjin. I think he has is Air Pods on, so that's why he doesn't mind.

Well, to be exact we only need to walk straight, and there we have it! Were home! I feel bad for Lia Though, what if, we reach home and she hasn't yet. I was thinking so much, that I didn't notice I already passed my own house, and Hyunjin was calling me!

"Yeji! What the- where do you think you're going?!" He said, and then he stop going in the house

"A-Ah Sorry!' I said, and ran to him.

I forgot about Lia, I quickly turned around, and saw her laughing, while holding the gate of our neighbors?! So that means were neighbors?! This is probably one of the best things that have ever happened to me!

"So were, Neighbors? Lia?" I asked her, she quickly stopped laughing.

"Wait- we are?! Where's your house?" She asked, and started looked around the neighborhood.

"Umm, right here?" I said, and pointed at our house, which is literally beside theirs.

"Omg! Yes!" Lia shouted, and ran to me, just to tackle me to the ground.

"I finally have a friend whose house is literally just right next to me!" She said, and quickly got up, I was just laughing at her reaction.

"Well, I guess since we are now, neighbors, how about we go to school, together tomorrow?" She asked me.

"Yeah, sure, I don't mind." I said, as I smiled.

"So, that's a deal, right?" She asked, while holding the handle of their gate of their house.

"Yep, bye Lia!" I said, and once I got inside our yard, I Quickly went inside our house.

'This is really one of the unforgettable moments in my life' I thought.
