Chapter 12: First Day of School

Author's POV

It was finally the first day of classes and a certain girl, doesn't like it. Yeji's alarm was already ringing. While, Yeji is still asleep, but then there was a shout to be heard in the whole entire house.

"Hwang Yeji! If you don't wake up from that dream of yours, you'll be late! It's already 6:30! Hurry up!" Mrs. Hwang shouted at her daughter. Who was still busy sleeping comfortably on her bed.

"Hmm... Yeah..." Yeji said, as she turned her body around her bed to the other side.

Soon after it quickly hit Yeji. Mrs. Hwang said, it was already 6:30. Although, it was only 5:00. So, everybody knows what happens to people, when they hear about the wrong time.

"Wait what?!" Yeji said, as she jolted up from her sleep.

Yeji quickly went to her bathroom, and took a quick shower, then wore her casual clothes. Since, it was only the first day of school; Yeji doesn't need to wear the school uniform yet. You can basically wear anything. But, nothing to revealing or anything that breaks the school rules. While, Yeji was brushing her hair, she looked at her phone for time check. It surprised her when she saw; it was only 5:30.

"Are you serious?!" Yeji shouted in frustration, in her bathroom.

Mrs. Hwang must've heard it, because she laughed, so loud that you can hear the laughs from the kitchen to her bedroom and bathroom. Which was at the end of the hallway, on the second floor.

Yeji quickly went down, as she went down, she asked her mom, why did she do that.

"Well, if I didn't do that, you'll be really late, because you take a very long shower that takes about 1 to 2 hours. And getting ready, you take about 30 minutes to 1 hour already. So how about you thank me instead of lecturing me." Mrs. Hwang said, still trying to lecture her daughter.

"Hmph!" Yeji said, and stomped her feet on the ground.

After a few more steps Yeji, finally reached the first floor. But, you can sense her demeanor, meaning she is in a very bad mood.

"Now, why don't you wake your brother up. While, I'm still busy making breakfast." Mrs. Hwang said, before completely going back in the kitchen.

"And, why do I have to wake up Hyunjin?" Yeji said complaining at her mother, who was in the Kitchen.

"Because, if you don't wake him up you'll also be late cause I'm the one who'll be sending you guys off. I'll be sending you to your school, and I'll send him off, the train station, so he can at least know this place a bit. And I'm not leaving, until Jinnie, wakes up from his dream land. So you know what that means right Yeji?" Mrs. Hwang said, making a whole speech.

"That, I can't go to school..." Yeji said, while looking down.

"Right! So now wake up your big brother!" Mrs. Hwang said, with happiness trailing off her voice. Because she knows, she already won this.

"Okay..." Yeji said, and went up the stairs and toward his bedroom.

Normally, Yeji would be happy for not going to school back then, but now, it's different. Yeji actually had friends, this is the first time she actually had friends of her own. Plus, there are four of them, so that actually made Yeji happy.

Yeji's POV

"Hyunjin! Wake up! Mom's gonna be mad! Also it's already 5:59! And my classes start at 7!" I screamed on top of my lungs, while shaking my Idiotic Big Brother.

"Aish. I never knew how hard to wake up a Hwang Hyunjin before." I mumbled to myself, as I looked at his sleeping figure.

While, trying to wake up my brother something went in my mind. I quickly went down and shouted.

'I'm so very sorry for this, Ryujin. But, I need to do this...' I thought, and closed my eyes.

"Hyunjin! Ryujin's here! She said she wants to go to school with me!" I shouted, after I shouted that I quickly heard shuffling of footsteps along the corridor.

"Really?!" My idiotic big brother said, while smiling and looking for Ryujin.

"Nope." I said, while smiling, in victory.

Ryujin's POV

"Achoo!" I quickly sneezed, and covered my nose.

"Whoa, are you okay?" The idiot sitting in front of me said.

"Of course! Why wouldn't I be?" I said to him, I quickly threw a glare at him, and didn't mind him anymore.

"It's because you sneezed, when it's already summer time." The idiot reasoned out.

"Just, Shut up." I said, and started sipping on my coffee.

Yeji's POV

"Now, get ready!" I said to him, he quickly made a playful salute to me.

"Wow. So you managed to get him up." I heard somebody say. As if, the person was mocking me and my abilities.

"Dad." I said, looking dull, but quickly smiled.

"Good morning!" I greeted, while running to him.

"I see, you're in good spirits right now. Yeji. Did something good happen, already?" Dad asked, me while entertaining me.

"Nope, not yet!" I said, and smiled mischievously.

"Not yet?" Dad asked me, in his curiosity.

"What do you mean 'Not Yet?'" I heard another voice asked.

I know that voice very well.

"By the way, who's Ryujin?" Mom asked me, making me gulp in guilt.

Ryujin's POV

"Achoo! Man, I think, I'm catching a cold already." I said, to the idiot in front me.

"You know, you should stay at home, when you're sick." He said, while looking concern.

"I'm fine, Beomgyu. I really am." I said to stop him, looking very concern

"No! As your boyfriend, I should be keeping you safe!" He said, with authority in his voice.

"Pfft... As if." I said to him, I then laughed at him.

"Okay, just to stay safe, we should stay here for a while more." He said, and sighed in defeat.

That statement made me laugh.

"Hey, why are you laughing?" He said, and pouted.

"You just, want to be with your girlfriend more don't you?" I asked him, while laughing.

"W-What do you mean?" He said, trying to hide the truth.

"It's because we can't be like this in school campus right?" I asked him, once again.

"Well, you caught me red handed. Did you know that, I was so jealous when I heard somebody, say your name that time at the mall. But I contained it." He said, and pouted some more.

"You mean... Hyunjin?" I asked, and was trying to remember that person's name.

"So, that's his name..." He said while, looking like he's gonna murder the poor guy. Who doesn't even know that I'm already in a relationship.

"Oh, don't be angry! He is just a sibling of a friend of mine." I said, trying to calm him down.

"Oh. But, still! I'm still not going to lower my guard." He said, and that made me laugh some more.

Yeji's POV

"Umm..." I was about to answer, but a certain idiotic brother of mine, suddenly went in and got my arm.

"Let's eat so we can both go to our destinations already!" He said, and started pulling me towards the dining room.

"Okay..." I said, while sweat dropping.

"Finally, we're at your school! I've never been here yet." Hyunjin said, and looked around.

"Wait, and why do you need to go to my school?" I asked him, while putting up my attitude.

"Sweetie, could you two keep your voices down? There are already students looking at you." Mom said, and was looking at her phone.

Mom, said she was going to fix my medical sheet. The one the was supposed to be answered. That's why she's here.

"Ok, now goodbye, I'm going to the admission office you two get to the principal's office." Mom said, before leaving both me and Hyunjin.

When, I made sure mom was nowhere to be seen. I started texting the girls, about their whereabouts. Cause dang! This whole school is a huge maze!

Yeji:
Hey, Where are you guys, right now?

Lia:
I'm currently, in front of the school with my brother. To be exact, at the Courtyard.

Chaeryeong:
I'm currently at the Library.

Yuna:
I'm currently at the Courtyard, with a neighbor.

Ryujin:
I'm at the Café near school, I think I'm gonna stay here for a while, I've been sneezing since morning, so I think I'll be here for awhile, I need to be warm.

Yeji:
Ok. Can somebody tell me where the principal's office is?

Lia:
Oh! I can come with you, but you need to pick me up from my brother.

Yeji:
Oh! Sure, I think I can see you already. Wait for me.

I quickly went over to her place, but when I saw her, I think she was all surrounded by boys. Either by our age or younger.

"Lia!" I shouted, she quickly looked around and saw me

"Hey!" Lia said, and was trying to get out of somebody's grasp.

I quickly ran to her, she did too, and once she reached me, she quickly hugged me.

"Finally! I'm saved!" Lia said, while still hugging me.

"Umm... what?" I asked her, in confusion.

I think it took a bit longer for her to digest what I meant.

"U-Umm... No! It's not what I meant! Umm... Nothing! L-Let's go!" She said stuttering around with her words, and quickly pulled my arm.

I guess it was a bit hilarious to see her act like that upfront of her brother and me. While, walking to the Principal's office, we asked each other some questions.

"Were here now! I'll wait for you here, okay?" Lia asked, and I gave her a 'Yes' sign with my hand.
