Chapter 11: Mall

Yeji's POV

Say what!? What?! Umm...

"Umm... Sorry to burst your bubble Miss. But, Yeji's my younger little sister. Even though, she's beautiful, I can't date her. Because, our parents might kill me." Hyunjin said, while shrugging his shoulders away.

"Oh. Umm... I'm sorry for making assumptions, Yeji eonni, and umm..." Chaeryeong said, and looked at Hyunjin up and down.

"Hyunjin, Hwang Hyunjin." Hyunjin Introduced himself, to them.

"Oh, Hyunjin oppa." Chaeryeong said to continue the statement she made earlier.

"Please call me Hyunjin, don't make me feel old... I already feel old because Yeji is already 20." He said, while sweatdropping.

"Why? Was yesterday your birthday Yeji eonni?" Ryujin asked me.

"N-no, it's actually today..." I said, while looking down.

"Eh?! Why didn't you tell us your birthday is May, 26th?! And it's also your 20th Birthday?!" Lia said, obviously surprised, with what I said earlier.

"Well, since it's your birthday today, and we don't have any gifts to you yet. How about you guys join us? Just for today. You know since, it's your birthday and all." Ryujin suggested, to us.

While, thinking I noticed my Brother was being quiet so I quickly took a quick glance at him, and saw him a frozen statue of Hyunjin looking at Ryujin.

'Okay, what is the meaning of this?' I thought and quickly slapped my Brother's arm.

That made him, get out of that trance of his. While, he was groaning, I was thinking the answer to Ryujin's, I heard, my brother quickly took a deep breath.

"Oh, it would be rude to turn down an inv-." I said, and then got cut off by my Brother.

"Oh. And who might you be?" My Idiotic Brother asked Ryujin.

Sometimes, I just want to get in his brain and see if his brain is always thinking of flirting with girls, instead of looking for a job or maybe, he's adopted? Mom did say that Dad is and always have been Loyal. But Hyunjin? Umm... I think not.

"Don't mind my Idiotic Brother, Ryujin. And as for the Invitation, we would love to." I said, while smiling at them.

"Really?! Since you guys are still new to this Mall. It would be better, if we be your tour guides for today!" Yuna said with Happiness seen in her eyes.

I was so shocked, when I heard; they wanted to spend time with us, with me. I'm going to ask them, although their answer might affect me. But! I want to know our status to each other.

"Come on! Let's go, eat! I'm starving!" Ryujin said, while tagging Yuna along the way.

"Oh, you're always so hungry! Ryujin-ah!" Chaeryeong said, more like scolding Ryujin, making us laugh.

"How, about we go to the Famous Samgyupsal Restaurant that we always go to? So Yeji eonni, and Hyunjin oppa, know the good places to go to, with their parents?" Yuna said, suggesting it.

While, walking up to this 'Samgyupsal Restaurant'. I was mustering all my courage to ask the Question.

"Does this mean? That... were, friends?" I asked them, hopefully waiting for a good answer from them.

They went silent, for a good couple of minutes. Then they started to smile.

"Well, what do you think?" Lia asked me.

"Umm... I don't know. I've never had Friends before..." I said, in reply.

"Wait, Why?" Yuna asked, curiously. I didn't know what to reply to her or to them.

"Yuna! You should've asked for permission to ask her first!" Chaeryeong said, before starting to lecture Yuna.

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean too! Umm.. If it's okay to ask, you Yeji eonni? Umm... I don't know what to do!" Yuna said, and started acting as if she did a huge mistake.

I guess, they both got the wrong message. Well, while Yuna was acting a bit off, Chaeryeong suddenly asked something.

"Yeji eonnie is it okay to ask?" Chaeryeong asked, and that snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Of course!" I replied to them.

"Does your old school, Forbid it?" Chaeryeong asked me.

"Umm, it's just, I don't fit in their 'Standards', I guess..." I said, just shrugging it because, even I don't know.

"Well, because of their 'Standards' they just lost somebody, who's friendly and nice!" Lia said, and smiled.

And if you're wondering, what happened to my brother Hyunjin, he is currently flirting with Ryujin, as of the moment. And she is really, ignoring my Idiotic Brother. Finally! We've already reached the place! It really looks so cool! I think I'm going to be full.

After, we've finally eaten, I think, I don't need to eat for a few more hours. Thanks to Ryujin, we're going to walk away the weight we gained just by eating.

While, walking, we happen to talk about each other.

Author's POV

It was getting late, the girls, Yeji, and Hyunjin. Spent, the whole day, with each other, they now know something about each other.

The girls finally knew something about the siblings. Other than being Siblings. They actually lived here before, but, moved to another city. That Hyunjin, is a total flirt. Yeji, is a total introvert, and many more.

While, as for the siblings, they finally knew, more about the girls. That, ITZY's First Member is actually nobody, as it was created all three: Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are all the first members. That, the first Leader was Chaeryeong, since she is responsible, before Lia joined.

That, Lia is originally from South Korea, before moving to Canada, that's why she knows the English Language. Lia's also a shy type, both Chaeryeong and herself. Lia also have a Older Brother, that studies in the same year as her. Lia also considers her brother's friends, her friends. But, Lia doesn't consider a certain somebody her friend sometimes. Lia considers herself not scary nor friendly, just right.

That, Ryujin is the type of person who fights back, but is also a smart person, and a boy magnet or girl crush, meaning wherever she goes, there will be boys following her. Ryujin isn't the type of person who would fangirl over a boy. Ryujin is also the strongest member, alongside with Yuna. Ryujin was also an actress, alongside with Yuna. Ryujin is the scariest member according to Lia and Yuna.

That, Chaeryeong is the Mom of the group, and also an Introvert, alongside with Lia. You'll most likely see Chaeryeong in the Library, or having a book with her, as she is a bookworm. Chaeryeong likes to watch Rom-Com movies alone. Out of all the members, Chaeryeong has the most Siblings, as she has an older sister named Chaeyeon and a younger sister named Chaemin. She's one of the least scary members, alongside with Yuna.

That, Yuna is actually the most Extrovert out of all the Extroverts. Yuna also just graduated out of Middle School, last year. Yuna likes sports and taking in new hobbies. Both Yuna and Ryujin were actually actresses. Yuna is trying to find out who is her soulmate. Yuna's actually a real prankster and looking for a new victim. Out of all the ITZY members, both Yuna and Chaeryeong are the least scary. Yuna still hasn't played a prank on Ryujin yet, as she is the scariest member.

After, finally knowing something about them, Yeji, finally asked them for their phone numbers, before they, or maybe she forgot again.

"Guys, can I have your phone numbers? Cause the first time we met, I forgot to ask you guys about it." Yeji said, and shyly smiled.

They all quickly looked at each other and smiled, then they took out their phones, and let Yeji copy them, and they copied Yeji's.

Since, it was getting late; they decided they should go home, before the mall closes them in. While, walking they bumped into somebody, well not really a somebody, cause it was a Group, some of them fell, some of them just got control of their balance.

Since, it was getting late, they were too tired to apologize or anything, well for Hyunjin's case, he has some energy to use to ask them if their okay. Well not the whole group, But, a particular pink haired girl.

"Are you okay, Ryujin?" Hyunjin asked the pink haired girl.

"Of course, I am." Ryujin said while, walking away from the scene or rather him.

Since, she was leading them, they followed her, and that left the group of boys that they bumped into standing there.

"Was that ITZY?" A brown haired boy asked

"I think so... A guy did say 'Ryujin'." A black haired boy asked, well more like teasing a certain orange haired boy.

"Oh. Shut It!" The orange haired boy said, while being a blushing mess.

"Ok, Beomgyu, calm down." Another brown haired boy said to the orange haired boy.

"Finally! You decided to speak! You haven't been speaking ever since we left your house!" The orange haired boy, addressed as "Beomgyu" said to the brown haired boy.

"But, why, would they hang out with a guy? And wasn't there only four of them? But, why did it seem like there were five of them now?" Another brown haired boy asked in curiosity.

"Yeah... That kind of feels weird for some reason." The other brown haired boy said, while putting his hand on the bottom of his chin, and acted as if he was busy thinking.

"Well! I'm tired, let's just go home!" The shorter brown haired boy said, and started walking away from the scene.

"Let's just ask your sister, Yeonjun hyung. Well, she is a part of ITZY now." The black haired boy said.

"Really? Or do you just want to spend some time with her more?" The orange haired boy asked, more like teased the older boy.

"That's enough Beomgyu. I'll just ask her once we get home." The brown haired boy said, and followed the shorter brown haired boy.

Yeonjun's POV

I always got this feeling.

A feeling that would never go away no matter what happens.

A feeling that, always happens, when your there, when we were still kids.

But, why do I feel it now?

You aren't here anymore.

Well, that's what I think you moved to another city. I don't even know the reason you moved.

Even so, I know you'll come back to me.

After all, you promised me.

'You promised me that, when we grow up, we'll get married.' I thought.

You were the one that made that promise. And until now, I'm still holding that promise of yours.

Because you never break your promises. You'd never do that me right?

But, that is until I did something really stupid.

While, thinking of her. Hwang Yeji. My thoughts suddenly went to the girl that I bumped into.

She kind of looks like my Yeji.

I quickly throw away those thoughts.

Yesterday was the birthday of my Baby Yeji. Yes, Baby, because she's Younger than me, but older than Lia.

Since, it was her birthday; I was always in my own thoughts. Since, the guys knows about that, they agreed to take me out every time her birthday comes, just so I won't do anything stupid.

But, the girl, that we bumped into yesterday, she looks like Yeji.

'Nah. I don't think that she would be back.' I thought.

'Why would she even come back here? After all the things I did to her?' I thought.

"Why would she come back to this city?" I said, to nobody, particularly. I was whispering in into the air.
